Psalms 93

1 THE Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Jehovah ist König, mit Hoheit ist Er angetan, Jehovah hat Sich angetan mit Stärke, Er hat Sich umgürtet; gefestigt ist die Welt, sie wankt nicht.

2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

Gefestigt ist Dein Thron hinfort, von Ewigkeit bist Du.

3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

Flüsse erheben, Jehovah, Flüsse erheben ihre Stimme, Flüsse erheben ihren Wogenschlag.

4 The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Herrlicher als die Stimmen vieler herrlichen Wasser, als des Meeres Brandungen ist Jehovah in der Höhe.

5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.

Deine Zeugnisse sind sehr wahrhaftig, Deinem Hause ziemt Heiligkeit, o Jehovah, für der Tage Länge.
