Psalms 103
1 BLESS the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Segne Jehovah, meine Seele, und all mein Inneres den Namen Seiner Heiligkeit.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Segne, Jehovah, meine Seele, und vergiß nicht aller Seiner Wohltaten.
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Der dir vergibt alle deine Missetaten, Der alle deine Krankheiten heilt.
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Der aus der Grube dein Leben erlöset, Der dich krönt mit Barmherzigkeit und Erbarmen.
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Der deinen Mund mit Gutem sättigt, daß deine Jugend gleich dem Adler sich erneut.
6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
Jehovah tut Gerechtigkeit und Gericht allen Niedergedrückten.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
Kund tat Er Mose Seine Wege, Seine Handlungen den Söhnen Israels.
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
Erbarmungsvoll und gnädig ist Jehovah, langmütig und von großer Barmherzigkeit.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
Er hadert nicht immerdar, noch trägt Er ewiglich nach.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Nicht hat Er uns nach unseren Sünden getan, noch vergalt Er uns nach unseren Missetaten.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
Denn so hoch der Himmel über der Erde ist, so mächtig ist Seine Barmherzigkeit für die, so Ihn fürchten.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
So fern der Aufgang ist vom Abend, so weit von uns entfernt Er unsere Übertretungen.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
Wie sich ein Vater über die Söhne erbarmt, erbarmt Jehovah derer Sich, so Ihn fürchten.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
Denn Er kennt, was für ein Gebilde wir sind, Er gedenkt, daß wir sind Staub.
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
Der Mensch, wie Gras sind seine Tage; wie des Feldes Blume, also blüht er.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
Wenn der Wind über sie dahingeht, ist sie nicht mehr, und man erkennt nicht mehr ihren Ort.
17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
Jehovahs Barmherzigkeit aber ist von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit über die, so Ihn fürchten, und Seine Gerechtigkeit auf der Söhne Söhne,
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
Auf die, so halten Seinen Bund und Seiner Ordnungen gedenken, daß sie danach tun.
19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Jehovah hat im Himmel Seinen Thron bereitet, und Sein Reich herrscht über alles.
20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Segnet Jehovah, ihr, Seine Engel, ihr Helden der Kraft, die Sein Wort tun, auf daß man auf die Stimme Seines Wortes höre!
21 Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
Segnet Jehovah, alle Seine Heerscharen, Seine Diener, die nach Seinem Wohlgefallen tun!
22 Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.
Segnet Jehovah, alle Seine Werke an allen Orten Seiner Herrschaft! Segne, meine Seele, den Jehovah!
