Luke 15
1 THEN drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
Es pflegten aber zu ihm zu kommen die Zöllner insgesamt und die Sünder, ihn zu hören.
2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
Und die Pharisäer und die Schriftgelehrten murrten darüber, und sagten: dieser nimmt die Sünder an, und ißt mit ihnen.
3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
Er sagte aber zu ihnen folgendes Gleichnis:
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Welcher von euch, wenn er hundert Schafe hat, und verliert eines von ihnen, läßt nicht die neunundneunzig in der Wüste, und gehet dem verlorenen nach, bis er es findet?
5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Und wenn er es gefunden, legt er es auf seine Schulter mit Freuden,
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
geht nach Haus, ruft Freunde und Nachbarn zusammen, und sagt zu ihnen: freuet euch mit mir, ich habe mein verlorenes Schaf gefunden.
7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Ich sage euch, so wird Freude im Himmel sein über einen Sünder, der Buße thut, mehr als über neunundneunzig Gerechte, die da keine Buße nötig haben.
8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
Oder, welche Frau, die zehn Drachmen hat, wenn sie eine verliert, zündet nicht Licht an und scheuert das Haus und sucht sorgfältig, bis sie dieselbe findet?
9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
Und wenn sie sie gefunden, ruft sie Freundinnen und Nachbarinnen zusammen und sagt: freuet euch mit mir, denn ich habe die Drachme gefunden, die ich verloren hatte.
10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
So sage ich euch, gibt es Freude vor den Engeln Gottes, über einen einzigen Sünder, der Buße thut.
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
Er sagte aber: ein Mensch hatte zwei Söhne.
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
Und der jüngere von ihnen sprach zum Vater: Vater, gib mir den Kindsteil, welcher mich trifft. Und er verteilte das Vermögen unter sie.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
Und wenige Tage nachher raffte der jüngere Sohn alles zusammen, und zog in ein fernes Land, und dort verschleuderte er seinen Teil mit liederlichem Leben.
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
Nachdem er aber alles aufgebraucht, kam eine schwere Hungersnot über jenes Land, und er fieng an, Mangel zu leiden.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
Und er gieng hin und hängte sich an einen von den Bürgern jenes Landes, der schickte ihn auf seine Felder, Schweine zu hüten.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
Und er begehrte seinen Magen zu füllen mit den Schoten, welche die Schweine fraßen, und niemand gab es ihm.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
Er gieng aber in sich und sprach: wie viele Taglöhner meines Vaters haben Brot die Fülle; ich aber gehe hier an Hunger zu Grunde.
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
Ich will mich aufmachen und zu meinem Vater gehen und zu ihm sagen: Vater ich habe gefehlt gegen den Himmel und vor dir,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
ich bin nicht mehr wert dein Sohn zu heißen; halte mich wie einen deiner Tagelöhner.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Und er stand auf und gieng hin zu seinem Vater. Da er aber noch ferne war, sah ihn sein Vater, und hatte Mitleid, und lief herzu, fiel ihm um den Hals und küßte ihn.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
Der Sohn aber sagte zu ihm: Vater ich habe gesündigt gegen den Himmel und vor dir; ich bin nicht mehr wert, dein Sohn zu heißen.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
Der Vater aber sprach zu seinen Knechten: holet sogleich das beste Festkleid, und ziehet es ihm an, legt ihm einen Ring an die Hand, und Schuhe an die Füße,
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
und bringet das Mastkalb und schlachtet es, und lasset uns essen und fröhlich sein;
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
denn dieser mein Sohn war tot, und ward wieder lebendig; er war verloren und ward gefunden. Und sie fiengen an fröhlich zu sein.
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
Sein älterer Sohn aber war auf dem Felde, und wie er kam und sich dem Hause näherte, hörte er Musik und Gesang,
26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
und rief einen der Knechte und forschte, was das wäre.
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
Der aber sagte ihm: dein Bruder ist da, da hat dein Vater das Mastkalb schlachten lassen, weil er ihn wohlbehalten wieder bekommen hat.
28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
Er aber ward zornig und wollte nicht hineingehen. Sein Vater aber kam heraus und redete ihm zu.
29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
Er aber antwortete dem Vater: siehe, so viele Jahre diene ich dir, und noch nie habe ich ein Gebot von dir versäumt, und mir hast du noch nie einen Bock gegeben, daß ich mit meinen Freunden fröhlich sei.
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
Da aber dieser dein Sohn gekommen ist, der dein Vermögen mit Dirnen verzehrt hat, da hast du ihm das Mastkalb geschlachtet.
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
Er aber sagte zu ihm: Kind, du bist allezeit bei mir, und alles das Meine ist dein.
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
Es galt aber fröhlich sein und sich freuen, weil dieser dein Bruder tot war und ist lebendig geworden, verloren war und ward gefunden.
