Isaiah 32
1 BEHOLD, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
Siehe, in Gerechtigkeit wird regieren ein König, und die Fürsten - sie werden schalten nach dem Recht.
2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
Und der Mann ist wie ein Versteck vor dem Winde und eine Burg in der Überschwemmung, wie Bäche der Wasser in der Dürre, wie der Schatten einer schweren Felsenklippe in dem matten Land.
3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
Verklebt werden nicht sein die Augen der Sehenden, und horchen werden die Ohren der Hörenden.
4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
Und es wird einsichtsvoll zur Kenntnis das Herz der Eiligen, und die Zunge der Stammelnden ist eilig, Deutliches zu reden.
5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.
Den Toren nennt man dann nicht mehr einen Edlen, noch heißt der Habsüchtige freigebig.
6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Denn Torheit wird der Tor reden und sein Herz wird Unrecht tun, Heuchelei tun und Irriges reden wider Jehovah, will leeren des Hungernden Seele und dem Dürstenden das Getränk lassen mangeln.
7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
Und der Habsüchtige - seine Werkzeuge sind böse, er berät Schandtaten, die Elenden zu verstören mit der lüge Reden, wenn auch der Dürftige redet nach Recht.
8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
Der Edle aber berät Edles und besteht bei Edlem.
9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.
Ihr sorglosen Weiber, stehet auf, höret meine Stimme; ihr sicheren Töchter, nehmet zu Ohren meine Rede!
10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
Jahr auf Jahr sollt ihr zittern, ihr Sicheren! Denn zu Ende ist es mit der Weinlese, ein Einsammeln kommt nicht.
11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
Erbebt, ihr Sorglosen, zittert, ihr Sicheren! Ziehet euch aus und entblößt euch, und umgürtet eure Hüften!
12 They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
Schlagt auf die Brüste, klagend um die Felder des Begehrens, um den fruchtbaren Weinstock!
13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
Auf meines Volkes Boden schießt der Dorn, der Dornstrauch auf, ja in allen Häusern der Freude in der jauchzenden Stadt.
14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
Denn dahingegeben ist der Palast, verlassen die Menge der Stadt, Anhöhe und Wartturm sind Höhlen bis in Ewigkeit, die Freude der Waldesel und Weideplatz für die Herden.
15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
Bis daß sich über uns ergießt der Geist aus der Höhe; und es wird die Wüste zum Fruchtgefilde und das Fruchtgefilde wird als Wald geachtet;
16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
Und in der Wüste wohnt das Recht, und die Gerechtigkeit hat ihren Wohnsitz in dem Fruchtgefilde.
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Und das Werk der Gerechtigkeit wird Friede sein, und der Gerechtigkeit Arbeit Rast und Sicherheit ewiglich.
18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
Und mein Volk wohnt in Wohnorten des Friedens und in sicheren Wohnungen und in sorglosen Ruhestätten.
19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
Und es wird hageln, bis der Wald hinabsteigt, und in der Niederung die Stadt wird erniedrigt sein.
20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.
Selig ihr, die ihr an allen Wassern sät; die ihr entsendet den Fuß des Ochsen und des Esels.
