Revelation 22
1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
天使又我に示すに、水晶の如く透明れる生命の水の河の、神及び羔の玉座より流るるを以てせり。
2 In the middle of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bore twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
市街の衢の中央及び河の兩岸に生命の樹あり、十二の果を結びて月毎に一の果を出し、此樹の葉も亦萬民を醫すべし。
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
如何なる詛も今は有る事なく、神と羔との玉座其中に在りて、其僕等之に事へ奉るべく、
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
彼等其御顔を見奉り、神の御名其額に在るべし。
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
最早夜ある事なく、燈の光をも日の光をも要する事なかるべし、其は神にて在す主彼等を照し給へばなり。斯の如くにして彼等は世々に限なく王たるべし。 (aiōn g165)
6 And he said to me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show to his servants the things which must shortly be done.
末文 天使我に謂ひけるは、此言は信ずべくして眞なり、預言者等の霊を賜へる神にて在す主は、遠からずして成るべき事を其僕等に示さん為に、其天使を遣はし給ひしなり。
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
看よ我速に來らん。此書の預言の言を守る人は福なる哉、と。
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
是等の事を見聞したる者は我ヨハネにして、見聞したる後、是等の事を我に示せる天使の足下に平伏して禮拝せんとせしに、
9 Then says he to me, See you do it not: for I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
彼我に謂ひけるは、然する事勿れ、我は汝及び汝の兄弟たる預言者等、並に此書の預言の言を守る人々と同様の僕なり、神をば禮拝し奉れ、と。
10 And he says to me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
又我に謂ひけるは、此書の預言の言を封ずる事勿れ、其は時近ければなり。
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
害する人は愈害し、汚に在る人は愈汚れ、正しき人は愈正しく、聖なる人は愈聖と成るべし。
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
看よ我速に來り、報を携へて、各其業に随ひて之に報いんとす。
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
我はアルファなり、オメガなり、最初のものなり、最終のものなり、原因なり、終局なり。
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
生命の樹に與る権を得ん為、門より市街に入らん為に、羔の御血に己が衣を洗ふ人は福なる哉。
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.
犬、魔術を行ふもの、淫亂なるもの、人を殺すもの、偶像を崇拝するもの、総て僞を愛して之を為す者は外に在るべし、
16 I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
我イエズス使を遣はして、諸教會に於て是等の事を汝等に證明せしめたり。我はダヴィドの萌蘗にして裔なり、輝ける暁の明星なり。
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
霊及び新婦、來り給へと言へり。聞く人も亦、來り給へと言ふべし。渇く人は來れ、欲する人は價なく生命の水を受けよ。
18 For I testify to every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book:
我は総て此書の預言の言を聞く人に保證す、若之に加ふる人あらば、神は此書に記されたる禍を之に加へ給はん。
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
若此書の預言の言を省く人あらば、神は生命の名簿より、また聖なる都より、又此書に記せる所より、其受くべき分を省き給はん。
20 He which testifies these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
是等の事を證明し給へるもの曰く、然り、我速に來る、と。アメン、主イエズス來り給へ。
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
願はくは我主イエズス、キリストの恩寵、汝等一同と共に在らん事を、アメン。
