2 Corinthians 11
1 Would to God you could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
第二項 パウロ己を僞教師に比較す 冀はくは汝等我が愚なる所を聊容赦せん事を、又我をも容赦せよ。
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
其は我神の如き妬を以て汝等の為に奮發し、汝等を一人の夫に於る潔白なる少女としてキリストに婚約したればなり。
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
然れど我が恐るる所は、蛇の狡猾によりてエワの惑はされし如く、汝等の心損はれてキリストに對する質朴を失はん事是なり。
4 For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.
蓋人來りて、我等の宣べざりし他のキリストを宣べ、又は汝等曾て蒙らざりし他の霊、若くは曾て承容れざりし他の福音を受けんか、汝等能く之を容れん。
5 For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very most chief apostles.
然れど我は何事に於ても彼大使徒等に劣らずと思ふ、
6 But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things.
蓋談話には拙けれども學識は然らず、然れど萬事に於て汝等には顕然たり。
7 Have I committed an offense in abasing myself that you might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
或は我、汝等を高めん為に自ら謙りて、報酬なくして神の福音を宣べたるが犯罪なりや、
8 I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.
我他の教會を剥取りて給金を受け、以て汝等の為に務め、
9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brothers which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so will I keep myself.
又汝等の中に在りて乏しかりしも誰をも煩はさず、マケドニアより來りし兄弟等は我が足らざるを補へり、斯の如く自ら注意して、萬事に於て汝等を煩はさじとしたるが、以後も亦注意せんとす。
10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
我に在るキリストの眞理によりて誓ふ、此名誉はアカヤ地方に於て我に就きて毀はれざるべし、
11 Why? because I love you not? God knows.
是何故ぞ、我が汝等を愛せざる故なるか、神は知り給へり。
12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
我が行ふ所は我尚之を行はんとす、是機會を求むる人々の機會を断ち、彼等をして自ら誇る所に就きて我等と同じからしめん為なり。
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
蓋斯る人々は僞使徒にして狡猾なる勞働者、身をキリストの使徒に装へる者なり。
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
是は珍しき事に非ず、サタンすら自ら光の使に己を装ふ者なれば、
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
其役者が亦義の役者の如く装ふは大事に非ず、彼等の終は其業に適ふべし。
16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.
我再び言はん、我も少しく誇るべければ、誰も我を愚なりとする事勿れ、然らずば愚として我を承容れよ。
17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
此名誉の點に就きて我が語る所は、主に從ひて語るに非ず、愚なる者の如くにして語るなり。
18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.
多くの人は肉身上に誇る故に、我も亦誇らん。
19 For you suffer fools gladly, seeing you yourselves are wise.
蓋汝等は自ら智者なれば、喜びて愚者を忍ぶなり。
20 For you suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
即ち人ありて汝等を奴隷とするも、喰盡すも、掠むるも、驕るも、汝等の面を打つも、汝等は之を忍ぶ。
21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. However, when ever any is bold, (I speak foolishly, ) I am bold also.
耻しながら我は言ふ、我等は此點に就きて弱き者の如くなりき。愚にも言はん、人の敢て憶せざる所は我もあえて憶せず。
22 Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.
彼等ヘブレオ人なるか、我も亦然り、彼等イスラエル人なるか、我も亦然り、彼等アブラハムの裔なるか、我も亦然り、
23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
彼等キリストの役者なるか、我狂へるが如くに云はん、我は尚然り。我働は尚夥しく、監獄に入りし事は尚多く、傷けられし事は無量にして、死に遇へる事は屡なりき。
24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
ユデア人より四十に一足らず打擲せられし事五度、
25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
笞刑を受けし事三度、石を擲たれし事一度、破船に遇ひし事三度にして、一晝夜の間海中に在りき。
26 In journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by my own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brothers;
數次旅行して、河の難、盗賊の難、邦人よりの難、異邦人よりの難、都會に於る難、僻地に於る難、海上の難、僞兄弟よりの難に遇ひ、
27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
勞働し且悩み、數次夜眠らず、飢渇き、断食する事度々にして凍え且裸なりき。
28 Beside those things that are without, that which comes on me daily, the care of all the churches.
是等外部の事の外、亦日々差迫れる諸教會の憂あり、
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
弱れる者あるに我も弱らざらんや、躓く者あるに我も心燬けざらんや。
30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern my infirmities.
誇るべくんば我が弱點に就きて誇らん、
31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for ever more, knows that I lie not. (aiōn g165)
世々に祝せられ給ふ我主イエズス、キリストの神及び父は、我が僞らざる事を知り給ふ。 (aiōn g165)
32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:
ダマスコに於てアレタ王の下なる州長、我を捕へんとてダマスコ人の都會を守りしかば、
33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
我は籠を以て窓より石垣傳ひに釣下され、然て其手を脱れたりき。
