Psalms 89

1 Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever; to all generations will I make known Thy faithfulness with my mouth.

۱ قصیده ایتان ازراحی رحمت های خداوند را تا به ابد خواهم سرایید. امانت تو را به دهان خود نسلابعد نسل اعلام خواهم کرد.

2 For I have said: 'For ever is mercy built; in the very heavens Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness.

۲ زیرا گفتم رحمت بنا خواهد شد تا ابدالاباد و امانت خویش را درافلاک پایدار خواهی ساخت.

3 I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn unto David My servant:

۳ با برگزیده خودعهد بسته‌ام. برای بنده خویش داود قسم خورده‌ام.

4 For ever will I establish thy seed, and build up thy throne to all generations.' (Selah)

۴ که ذریت تو را پایدار خواهم ساخت تا ابدالاباد و تخت تو را نسلا بعد نسل بنا خواهم نمود، سلاه.

5 So shall the heavens praise Thy wonders, O LORD, Thy faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.

۵ و آسمانها کارهای عجیب تو را‌ای خداوند تمجید خواهند کرد و امانت تو را درجماعت مقدسان.

6 For who in the skies can be compared unto the LORD, who among the sons of might can be likened unto the LORD,

۶ زیرا کیست در آسمانها که باخداوند برابری تواند کرد؟ و از فرزندان زورآوران که را با خداوند تشبیه توان نمود؟

7 A God dreaded in the great council of the holy ones, and feared of all them that are about Him?

۷ خدا بی‌نهایت مهیب است در جماعت مقدسان و ترسناک است بر آنانی که گرداگرد او هستند.

8 O LORD God of hosts, who is a mighty one, like unto Thee, O LORD? And Thy faithfulness is round about Thee.

۸ ‌ای یهوه خدای لشکرها! کیست‌ای یاه قدیرمانند تو؟ و امانت تو، تو را احاطه می‌کند.

9 Thou rulest the proud swelling of the sea; when the waves thereof arise, Thou stillest them.

۹ برتکبر دریا تو مسلط هستی. چون امواجش بلندمی شود، آنها را ساکن می‌گردانی.

10 Thou didst crush Rahab, as one that is slain; Thou didst scatter Thine enemies with the arm of Thy strength.

۱۰ رهب را مثل کشته شده خرد شکسته‌ای. به بازوی زورآورخویش دشمنانت را پراکنده نموده‌ای.

11 Thine are the heavens, Thine also the earth; the world and the fulness thereof, Thou hast founded them.

۱۱ آسمان از آن تو است و زمین نیز از آن تو. ربع مسکون وپری آن را تو بنیاد نهاده‌ای.

12 The north and the south, Thou hast created them; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Thy name.

۱۲ شمال و جنوب راتو آفریده‌ای. تابور و حرمون به نام تو شادی می‌کنند.

13 Thine is an arm with might; strong is Thy hand, and exalted is Thy right hand.

۱۳ بازوی تو با قوت است. دست توزورآور است و دست راست تو متعال.

14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Thy throne; mercy and truth go before Thee.

۱۴ عدالت و انصاف اساس تخت تو است. رحمت و راستی پیش روی تو می‌خرامند.

15 Happy is the people that know the joyful shout; they walk, O LORD, in the light of Thy countenance.

۱۵ خوشابحال قومی که آواز شادمانی رامی دانند. در نور روی تو‌ای خداوند خواهندخرامید.

16 In Thy name do they rejoice all the day; and through Thy righteousness are they exalted.

۱۶ در نام تو شادمان خواهند شد تمامی روز و در عدالت تو سرافراشته خواهند گردید.

17 For Thou art the glory of their strength; and in Thy favour our horn is exalted.

۱۷ زیرا که فخر قوت ایشان تو هستی و به رضامندی تو شاخ ما مرتفع خواهد شد.

18 For of the LORD is our shield; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

۱۸ زیراکه سپر ما از آن خداوند است و پادشاه ما از آن قدوس اسرائیل.

19 Then Thou spokest in vision to Thy godly ones, and saidst: 'I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

۱۹ آنگاه در عالم رویا به مقدس خود خطاب کرده، گفتی که نصرت را بر مردی زورآور نهادم و برگزیده‌ای از قوم را ممتاز کردم.

20 I have found David My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him;

۲۰ بنده خود داود را یافتم و او را به روغن مقدس خود مسح کردم.

21 With whom My hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him.

۲۱ که دست من با او استوارخواهد شد. بازوی من نیز او را قوی خواهدگردانید.

22 The enemy shall not exact from him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

۲۲ دشمنی بر او ستم نخواهد کرد و هیچ پسر ظلم بدو اذیت نخواهد رسانید.

23 And I will beat to pieces his adversaries before him, and smite them that hate him.

۲۳ و خصمان او را پیش روی وی خواهم گرفت و آنانی را که ازاو نفرت دارند مبتلا خواهم گردانید.

24 But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him; and through My name shall his horn be exalted.

۲۴ و امانت ورحمت من با وی خواهد بود و در نام من شاخ اومرتفع خواهد شد.

25 I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.

۲۵ دست او را بر دریا مستولی خواهم ساخت و دست راست او را بر نهرها.

26 He shall call unto Me: Thou art my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

۲۶ او مرا خواهد خواند که تو پدر من هستی، خدای من و صخره نجات من.

27 I also will appoint him first-born, the highest of the kings of the earth.

۲۷ من نیز او رانخست زاده خود خواهم ساخت، بلندتر ازپادشاهان جهان.

28 For ever will I keep for him My mercy, and My covenant shall stand fast with him.

۲۸ رحمت خویش را برای وی نگاه خواهم داشت تا ابدالاباد و عهد من با اواستوار خواهد بود.

29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

۲۹ و ذریت وی را باقی خواهم داشت تا ابدالاباد و تخت او را مثل روزهای آسمان.

30 If his children forsake My law, and walk not in Mine ordinances;

۳۰ اگر فرزندانش شریعت مرا ترک کنند، و دراحکام من سلوک ننمایند،

31 If they profane My statutes, and keep not My commandments;

۳۱ اگر فرایض مرابشکنند، و اوامر مرا نگاه ندارند،

32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with strokes.

۳۲ آنگاه معصیت ایشان را به عصا تادیب خواهم نمود وگناه ایشان را به تازیانه‌ها.

33 But My mercy will I not break off from him, nor will I be false to My faithfulness.

۳۳ لیکن رحمت خود رااز او برنخواهم داشت و امانت خویش را باطل نخواهم ساخت.

34 My covenant will I not profane, nor alter that which is gone out of My lips.

۳۴ عهد خود را نخواهم شکست و آنچه را از دهانم صادر شد تغییر نخواهم داد.

35 Once have I sworn by My holiness: Surely I will not be false unto David;

۳۵ یک چیز را به قدوسیت خود قسم خوردم و به داود هرگز دروغ نخواهم گفت.

36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before Me.

۳۶ که ذریت اوباقی خواهد بود تا ابدالاباد و تخت او به حضورمن مثل آفتاب،

37 It shall be established for ever as the moon; and be stedfast as the witness in sky.' (Selah)

۳۷ مثل ماه ثابت خواهد بود تاابدالاباد و مثل شاهد امین در آسمان، سلاه.

38 But Thou hast cast off and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with Thine anointed.

۳۸ لیکن تو ترک کرده‌ای و دور انداخته‌ای و بامسیح خود غضبناک شده‌ای.

39 Thou hast abhorred the covenant of Thy servant; Thou hast profaned his crown even to the ground.

۳۹ عهد بنده خودرا باطل ساخته‌ای و تاج او را بر زمین انداخته، بی‌عصمت کرده‌ای.

40 Thou hast broken down all his fences; Thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.

۴۰ جمیع حصارهایش راشکسته و قلعه های او را خراب نموده‌ای.

41 All that pass by the way spoil him; he is become a taunt to his neighbours.

۴۱ همه راه گذران او را تاراج می‌کنند و او نزد همسایگان خود عار گردیده است.

42 Thou hast exalted the right hand of his adversaries; Thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

۴۲ دست راست خصمان او را برافراشته، و همه دشمنانش را مسرورساخته‌ای.

43 Yea, Thou turnest back the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

۴۳ دم شمشیر او را نیز برگردانیده‌ای واو را در جنگ پایدار نساخته‌ای.

44 Thou hast made his brightness to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

۴۴ جلال او راباطل ساخته و تخت او را به زمین انداخته‌ای.

45 The days of his youth hast Thou shortened; Thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)

۴۵ ایام شبابش را کوتاه کرده، و او را به خجالت پوشانیده‌ای، سلاه.

46 How long, O LORD, wilt Thou hide Thyself for ever? How long shall Thy wrath burn like fire?

۴۶ تا به کی‌ای خداوند خود را تا به ابد پنهان خواهی کرد و غضب تو مثل آتش افروخته خواهد شد؟

47 O remember how short my time is; for what vanity hast Thou created all the children of men!

۴۷ به یاد آور که ایام حیاتم چه کم است. چرا تمامی بنی آدم را برای بطالت آفریده‌ای؟

48 What man is he that liveth and shall not see death, that shall deliver his soul from the power of the grave? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)

۴۸ کدام آدمی زنده است که موت رانخواهد دید؟ و جان خویش را از دست قبرخلاص خواهد ساخت؟ سلاه. (Sheol h7585)

49 Where are Thy former mercies, O Lord, which Thou didst swear unto David in Thy faithfulness?

۴۹ ‌ای خداوندرحمت های قدیم تو کجاست؟ که برای داود به امانت خود قسم خوردی.

50 Remember, Lord, the taunt of Thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the taunt of so many peoples;

۵۰ ‌ای خداوند ملامت بنده خود را به یاد آور که آن را از قومهای بسیاردر سینه خود متحمل می‌باشم.

51 Wherewith Thine enemies have taunted, O LORD, wherewith they have taunted the footsteps of Thine anointed.

۵۱ که دشمنان توای خداوند ملامت کرده‌اند، یعنی آثار مسیح تورا ملامت نموده‌اند.

52 Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

۵۲ خداوند متبارک باد تاابدالاباد. آمین و آمین.
