Psalms 18
1 For the Leader. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD, who spoke unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul; And he said: I love thee, O LORD, my strength.
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਗਾਏ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਲ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in Him I take refuge; my shield, and my horn of salvation, my high tower.
੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ, ਮੇਰਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਢਾਲ਼, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਦਾ ਸਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ।
3 Praised, I cry, is the LORD, and I am saved from mine enemies.
੩ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸਤਤ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ, ਪੁਕਾਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ।
4 The cords of Death compassed me, and the floods of Belial assailed me.
੪ਮੌਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਡੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਕੁਧਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਇਆ।
੫ਅਧੋਲੋਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੱਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ, ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਫੰਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਸਨ। (Sheol h7585)
6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God; out of His temple He heard my voice, and my cry came before Him unto His ears.
੬ਆਪਣੀ ਔਖ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ।
7 Then the earth did shake and quake, the foundations also of the mountains did tremble; they were shaken, because He was wroth.
੭ਤਦ ਧਰਤੀ ਕੰਬ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਥਰ-ਥਰਾਈ, ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਹਿੱਲ ਗਈਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਧੜਕ ਉੱਠੀਆਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ!
8 Smoke arose up in His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth did devour; coals flamed forth from Him.
੮ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਧੂੰਆਂ ਉੱਠਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ, ਅੰਗਿਆਰੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਦਗ-ਦਗ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ।
9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and thick darkness was under His feet.
੯ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝੁਕਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਸੀ।
10 And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly; yea, He did swoop down upon the wings of the wind.
੧੦ਤਦ ਉਹ ਕਰੂਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉੱਡਿਆ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਪੌਣ ਦਿਆਂ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਡਾਰੀ ਮਾਰੀ।
11 He made darkness His hiding-place, His pavilion round about Him; darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
੧੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁਪਤ ਸਥਾਨ, ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਂਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦਾ ਮੰਡਪ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
12 At the brightness before Him, there passed through His thick clouds hailstones and coals of fire.
੧੨ਉਹ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੀ ਝਲਕ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਂਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗਿਆਰੇ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ।
13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High gave forth His voice; hailstones and coals of fire.
੧੩ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਜਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਈ।
14 And He sent out His arrows, and scattered them; and He shot forth lightnings, and discomfited them.
੧੪ਫੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੱਤਰ-ਬਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀਆਂ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਬਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
15 And the channels of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid bare, at Thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of Thy nostrils.
੧੫ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਬਕੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਸ ਦੇ ਝੋਕੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਤਹ ਦਿੱਸ ਪਈਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਗਈਆਂ।
16 He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.
੧੬ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਹੱਥ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ।
17 He delivered me from mine enemy most strong, and from them that hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
੧੭ਮੇਰੇ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਵੈਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਕੜੇ ਸਨ।
18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity; but the LORD was a stay unto me.
੧੮ਮੇਰੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰੰਤੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਸੀ।
19 He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because He delighted in me.
੧੯ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆਇਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਸੀ।
20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath He recompensed me.
੨੦ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੱਚਮਤਾਈ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੱਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
੨੧ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਬੇਮੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ।
22 For all His ordinances were before me, and I put not away His statutes from me.
੨੨ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰਹੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
23 And I was single-hearted with Him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
੨੩ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖਰਾ ਉਤਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
24 Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.
੨੪ਸੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੱਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
25 With the merciful Thou dost show Thyself merciful, with the upright man Thou dost show Thyself upright;
੨੫ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ, ਪੂਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
26 With the pure Thou dost show Thyself pure; and with the crooked Thou dost show Thyself subtle.
੨੬ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਟੇਢਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਟੇਢਾ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
27 For Thou dost save the afflicted people; but the haughty eyes Thou dost humble.
੨੭ਤੂੰ ਦੁਖੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਵੀਂਆਂ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ।
28 For Thou dost light my lamp; the LORD my God doth lighten my darkness.
੨੮ਫੇਰ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਦੀਵਾ ਬਾਲਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਨਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
29 For by Thee I run upon a troop; and by my God do I scale a wall.
੨੯ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੱਲਾ ਬੋਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਪਨਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਟੱਪ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
30 As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in Him.
੩੦ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਤਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਰਨਾਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਢਾਲ਼ ਹੈ।
31 For who is God, save the LORD? And who is a Rock, except our God?
੩੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੌਣ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੈ?
32 The God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way straight;
੩੨ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਲੱਕ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਹ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
33 Who maketh my feet like hinds', and setteth me upon my high places;
੩੩ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਜਿਹੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਚਿਆਂ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
34 Who traineth my hands for war, so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
੩੪ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨਾ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦਾ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਝੁਕਾ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
35 Thou hast also given me Thy shield of salvation, and Thy right hand hath holden me up; and Thy condescension hath made me great.
੩੫ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਦੀ ਢਾਲ਼ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਨਰਮਾਈ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਡਿਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.
੩੬ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਦਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਥਾਨ ਚੌੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਿਲਕੇ।
37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them; neither did I turn back till they were consumed.
੩੭ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਲਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਾ ਹਟਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
38 I have smitten them through, so that they are not able to rise; they are fallen under my feet.
੩੮ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਫੇਰ ਨਾ ਉੱਠ ਸਕੇ, ਉਹ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ ਸਨ।
39 For Thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle; Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
੩੯ਤੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਝੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
40 Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, and I did cut off them that hate me.
੪੦ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਿਆਨਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ।
41 They cried, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but He answered them not.
੪੧ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਵੀ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind; I did cast them out as the mire of the streets.
੪੨ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਡਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪੀਹ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ, ਰਸਤੇ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
43 Thou hast delivered me from the contentions of the people; Thou hast made me the head of the nations; a people whom I have not known serve me.
੪੩ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਝਗੜਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ, ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀਆ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
44 As soon as they hear of me, they obey me; the sons of the stranger dwindle away before me.
੪੪ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਿਚਕ ਕੇ ਆਏ।
45 The sons of the stranger fade away, and come trembling out of their close places.
੪੫ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਕੁਮਲਾ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਥਰ-ਥਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ।
46 The LORD liveth, and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation;
੪੬ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਧੰਨ ਹੋਵੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇ!
47 Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, and subdueth peoples under me.
੪੭ਉਸੇ ਹੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
48 He delivereth me from mine enemies; yea, Thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; Thou deliverest me from the violent man.
੪੮ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ, ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਾਲਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ।
49 Therefore I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises unto Thy name.
੪੯ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਜਸ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
50 Great salvation giveth He to His king; and showeth mercy to His anointed, to David and to his seed, for evermore.
੫੦ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
