Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
૧આલેફ. જેના માર્ગો સીધા છે, જેઓ યહોવાહના નિયમો પ્રમાણે ચાલે છે, તેઓ આશીર્વાદિત છે.
2 Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.
૨જેઓ તેમનાં સાક્ષ્ય પાળે છે તેઓ આશીર્વાદિત છે, તેઓ પૂર્ણ હૃદયથી તેમને શોધે છે.
3 Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.
૩તેઓ અન્યાય કરતા નથી; તેઓ તેમના માર્ગમાં ચાલે છે.
4 Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
૪તમારાં શાસનો પાળવાની તમે અમને આજ્ઞા આપી છે કે જેથી અમે તેનું ખૂબ કાળજીપૂર્વક પાલન કરીએ.
5 Oh that my ways were directed to observe Thy statutes!
૫તમારા વિધિઓ પાળવાને માટે મારા વિચારો દ્રઢ થાય તો કેવું સારું!
6 Then should I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Thy commandments.
૬જ્યારે હું તમારી બધી આજ્ઞાઓનો વિચાર કરું, ત્યારે હું શરમિંદો નહિ થાઉં.
7 I will give thanks unto Thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn Thy righteous ordinances.
૭જ્યારે હું તમારા ન્યાયી સાક્ષ્યો શીખીશ ત્યારે હું મારા શુદ્ધ અંતઃકરણથી તમારો આભાર માનીશ.
8 I will observe Thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly.
૮હું તમારા વિધિઓને અનુસરીશ; મારો ત્યાગ ન કરો.
9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.
૯બેથ. જુવાન માણસ કેવી રીતે પોતાનું જીવન શુદ્ધ રાખી શકે? તમારા વચનો પાળવાથી.
10 With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.
૧૦મેં મારા ખરા હૃદયથી તમને શોધ્યા છે; તમારી આજ્ઞાઓથી ચૂકીને મને ભટકવા ન દો.
11 Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.
૧૧મેં તમારાં વચન કાળજીપૂર્વક મારા હૃદયમાં રાખી મૂક્યાં છે કે જેથી તમારી વિરુદ્ધ હું ફરી પાપ ન કરું.
12 Blessed art Thou, O LORD; teach me Thy statutes.
૧૨હે યહોવાહ, તમે સ્તુતિપાત્ર છો; કૃપા કરીને મને તમારાં શાસનો શીખવો.
13 With my lips have I told all the ordinances of Thy mouth.
૧૩મારા હોઠોથી હું તમારા બધા નિયમો વિષે વાત કરીશ.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
૧૪તમારાં સાક્ષ્યોના માર્ગમાં મને પુષ્કળ સંપત્તિ કરતાં વધારે આનંદ મળ્યો છે.
15 I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.
૧૫હું તમારા નિયમોનું મનન કરીશ અને તમારા માર્ગોને અનુસરીશ.
16 I will delight myself in Thy statutes; I will not forget Thy word.
૧૬તમારા વિધિઓ પાળવામાં મને આનંદ થશે; હું તમારું વચન વીસરીશ નહિ.
17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with Thy servant that I may live, and I will observe Thy word.
૧૭ગિમેલ. તમારા સેવક ઉપર કૃપા કરો કે હું જીવું અને તમારાં વચનો પાળું.
18 Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.
૧૮તમારા નિયમશાસ્ત્રમાંની આશ્ચર્યકારક વાતોનું અવલોકન કરવા માટે; મારી આંખો ઉઘાડો.
19 I am a sojourner in the earth; hide not Thy commandments from me.
૧૯હું તો પૃથ્વી પર વિદેશી છું; તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ મારાથી ન સંતાડો.
20 My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thine ordinances at all times.
૨૦મારું હૃદય તમારાં ન્યાયવચનો માટે સર્વ સમયે તીવ્ર ઝંખના કરે છે.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Thy commandments.
૨૧તમે ગર્વિષ્ઠ લોકોને તેમ જ જેઓ તમારી આજ્ઞાઓને માનતા નથી, તેઓને શ્રાપ આપો છો.
22 Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept Thy testimonies.
૨૨મહેણાં તથા અપમાનને મારાથી દૂર કરો, કારણ કે મેં તમારા નિયમો માન્યા છે.
23 Even though princes sit and talk against me, thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes.
૨૩સરદારો પણ આસનો પર બેસીને મારી વિરુદ્ધ બોલતા હતા, પણ તમારા સેવકે તમારા વિધિઓનું મનન કર્યું છે.
24 Yea, Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counsellors.
૨૪તમારાં સાક્ષ્યોથી મને આનંદ થાય છે અને તેઓ મારા સલાહકારો છે.
25 DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust; quicken Thou me according to Thy word.
૨૫દાલેથ. મારો આત્મા ધૂળ ભેગો થઈ ગયો છે; તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે મને જિવાડો.
26 I told of my ways, and Thou didst answer me; teach me Thy statutes.
૨૬મેં મારા માર્ગો તમને પ્રગટ કર્યા અને તમે મને ઉત્તર આપ્યો; મને તમારા વિધિઓ શીખવો.
27 Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts, that I may talk of Thy wondrous works.
૨૭તમારી સૂચનાઓના માર્ગો સમજવા મારી મદદ કરો, જેથી હું તમારા અદ્દભુત શિક્ષણ વિશે ચર્ચા કરી શકું.
28 My soul melteth away for heaviness; sustain me according unto Thy word.
૨૮દુઃખને કારણે મારું હૃદય ભારે થઈ ગયું છે; તમારાં વચન પ્રમાણે મને બળવાન કરો.
29 Remove from me the way of falsehood; and grant me Thy law graciously.
૨૯અસત્યનો માર્ગ મારાથી દૂર કરો; કૃપા કરીને મને તમારા નિયમો શીખવો.
30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness; Thine ordinances have I set before me.
૩૦મેં વિશ્વાસુપણાનો માર્ગ પસંદ કર્યો છે; મેં હંમેશા તમારાં ન્યાયવચનો મારી નજરમાં રાખ્યાં છે.
31 I cleave unto Thy testimonies; O LORD, put me not to shame.
૩૧હું તમારાં સાક્ષ્યોને વળગી રહ્યો છું; હે યહોવાહ, મારે લજ્જિત થવું ન પડે.
32 I will run the way of Thy commandments, for Thou dost enlarge my heart.
૩૨તમારી આજ્ઞાઓના માર્ગમાં હું દોડીશ, કેમ કે તમે મારા હૃદયને પ્રફુલ્લિત કરો છો.
33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy statutes; and I will keep it at every step.
૩૩હે હે યહોવાહ, તમારા વિધિઓનો માર્ગ મને શીખવો અને હું અંત સુધી તે પ્રમાણે ચાલીશ.
34 Give me understanding, that I keep Thy law and observe it with my whole heart.
૩૪મને સમજણશક્તિ આપો એટલે હું તમારો નિયમ પાળીશ; હું મારા હૃદયથી તેનું અનુકરણ કરીશ.
35 Make me to tread in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
૩૫મને તમારી આજ્ઞાઓના માર્ગમાં દોરો, કારણ કે હું તેમાં આનંદ માનું છું.
36 Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
૩૬તમારા કરાર પર ધ્યાન આપવા માટે મારા હૃદયને દોરો અને લોભ તરફથી મને વારો.
37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Thy ways.
૩૭વ્યર્થતામાંથી તમે મારી દ્રષ્ટિ ફેરવો; તમારા માર્ગ વિષે મને આતુર કરો.
38 Confirm Thy word unto Thy servant, which pertaineth unto the fear of Thee.
૩૮તમારું જે વચન ભય ઉપજાવનારું છે; તે તમારા સેવકના લાભમાં દ્રઢ કરો.
39 Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Thine ordinances are good.
૩૯જે અપમાનનો મને ડર છે; તે મારાથી દૂર કરો; કારણ કે તમારાં ન્યાયવચનો ઉત્તમ છે.
40 Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness.
૪૦જુઓ, તમારા નિયમોને આધીન થવા માટે હું ઝંખુ છું; મારા ન્યાયીપણામાં તમે મારા જીવનને સંભાળી રાખો.
41 VAV. Let Thy mercies also come unto me, O LORD, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word;
૪૧વાવ. હે યહોવાહ, તમારો અવિકારી પ્રેમ, તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે, તમારો ઉદ્ધાર મને આપો.
42 That I may have an answer for him that taunteth me; for I trust in Thy word.
૪૨તેથી હું મારું અપમાન કરનારને જવાબ આપી શકું, કેમ કે હું તમારાં વચનનો ભરોસો કરું છું.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I hope in Thine ordinances;
૪૩મારા મુખમાંથી સત્ય વચનો કદી ન લઈ લો, કેમ કે હું તમારાં ન્યાયવચનોની આશા રાખી રહ્યો છું.
44 So shall I observe Thy law continually for ever and ever;
૪૪હું સદા સર્વદા તમારા નિયમોનું અવલોકન કરીશ.
45 And I will walk at ease, for I have sought Thy precepts;
૪૫તમારા શિક્ષણને આધીન થવામાં મેં ચિત્ત લગાડ્યું છે; તેથી હું નિરાંતે જીવીશ.
46 I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
૪૬હું રાજાઓ સાથે તમારા કરાર વિષે વાત કરીશ અને તેમાં શરમાઈશ નહિ.
47 And I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved.
૪૭તમારી આજ્ઞાઓમાં હું આનંદ પામીશ, તેઓ પર મેં પ્રેમ કર્યો છે.
48 I will lift up my hands also unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes.
૪૮હું તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ પાળવા મારા હાથ ઊંચા કરીશ, તેમના પર મેં પ્રેમ કર્યો છે; હું તમારા વિધિઓનું મનન કરીશ.
49 ZAIN. Remember the word unto Thy servant, because Thou hast made me to hope.
૪૯ઝ. તમારા જે વચનથી મને આશા ઊપજી છે, તે વચન તમારા સેવકને માટે સંભારો.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that Thy word hath quickened me.
૫૦મારા દુઃખમાં મને દિલાસો મળ્યો છે: તમારા વચને મને જિવાડ્યો છે.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Thy law.
૫૧અભિમાની લોકો મારી મજાક કરે છે, પણ હું તમારા નિયમમાંથી પાછો વળ્યો નથી.
52 I have remembered Thine ordinances which are of old, O LORD, and have comforted myself.
૫૨હે યહોવાહ, પુરાતન કાળથી તમારાં જે ન્યાયવચનો છે તેમને મેં સંભાર્યાં છે અને મને દિલાસો મળ્યો છે.
53 Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me, because of the wicked that forsake Thy law.
૫૩જે દુષ્ટો તમારા નિયમોની અવગણના કરે છે; તેઓ પર મને ક્રોધ ઊપજે છે.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
૫૪તમારા વિધિઓ મારાં ગીતો છે તેઓ મારી જીવનયાત્રામાં મારા માટે આનંદદાયક સ્તોત્ર બન્યા છે.
55 I have remembered Thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have observed Thy law.
૫૫હે યહોવાહ, મને રાત્રે તમારા નામનું સ્મરણ થાય છે અને હું તમારા નિયમો પાળું છું.
56 This I have had, that I have kept Thy precepts.
૫૬આ મારું આચરણ છે કેમ કે મેં તમારાં સાક્ષ્યોનું અનુસરણ કર્યું છે.
57 HETH. My portion is the LORD, I have said that I would observe Thy words.
૫૭ખેથ. હે યહોવાહ તમે મારો વારસો છો; હું તમારાં વચનો પાળીશ એમ મેં કહ્યું છે.
58 I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word.
૫૮મેં મારા હૃદયની ઉત્કંઠાથી તમારી કૃપાની માગણી કરી છે; તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે, તમે મારા ઉપર દયા કરો.
59 I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.
૫૯મેં મારી ચાલ વિષે વિચાર કર્યો છે અને તમારાં સાક્ષ્યો તરફ હું વળ્યો છું.
60 I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Thy commandments.
૬૦તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ પાળવા માટે મેં ઉતાવળ કરી છે; વાર લગાડી નથી.
61 The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Thy law.
૬૧મને દુષ્ટોનાં બંધનોએ ઘેરી લીધો છે; તમારા નિયમોને હું ભૂલી ગયો નથી.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous ordinances.
૬૨તમારાં ન્યાયીવચનોને લીધે હું તમારો આભાર માનવા મધ્ય રાત્રે ઊઠીશ.
63 I am a companion of all them that fear Thee, and of them that observe Thy precepts.
૬૩જે કોઈ તમને માન આપે છે અને જેઓ તમારી સૂચનાઓને અનુસરે છે, તેઓનો હું સાથી છું.
64 The earth, O LORD, is full of Thy mercy; teach me Thy statutes.
૬૪હે યહોવાહ, પૃથ્વી તમારી કૃપાથી ભરેલી છે; મને તમારા વિધિઓ શીખવો.
65 TETH. Thou hast dealt well with Thy servant, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
૬૫ટેથ. હે યહોવાહ, વચન પ્રમાણે, તમે તમારા સેવકને માટે સારું જ કર્યું છે.
66 Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed Thy commandments.
૬૬મને સારો વિવેક તથા ડહાપણ શીખવો, કેમ કે હું તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ પર વિશ્વાસ કરું છું.
67 Before I was afflicted, I did err; but now I observe Thy word.
૬૭દુઃખી થયા અગાઉ હું આડે રસ્તે ગયો હતો, પણ હવે હું તમારાં વચન પાળું છું.
68 Thou art good, and doest good; teach me Thy statutes.
૬૮તમે ઉત્તમ છો અને ઉત્તમ જ કરો છો; મને તમારા વિધિઓ શીખવો.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me; but I with my whole heart will keep Thy precepts.
૬૯ઘમંડી લોકો મારા વિશે જૂઠું બોલે છે, પણ હું તમારા નિયમો મારા ખરા હૃદયથી પાળીશ.
70 Their heart is gross like fat; but I delight in Thy law.
૭૦તેઓના હૃદયો જડ છે, પણ હું તો તમારા નિયમમાં આનંદ પામું છું.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn Thy statutes.
૭૧મેં જે સહન કર્યું છે તે મને ગુણકારક થઈ પડ્યું છે કે જેથી હું તમારા વિધિઓ શીખી શકું.
72 The law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
૭૨સોનાચાંદીના હજારો સિક્કા કરતાં તમારા મુખનો નિયમ મારે માટે વધુ મૂલ્યવાન છે.
73 JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that I may learn Thy commandments.
૭૩યોદ. તમે તમારા હાથોથી જ મને ઘડ્યો છે તથા બનાવ્યો છે; તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ શીખવા માટે મને સમજણ આપો.
74 They that fear Thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hope in Thy word.
૭૪તમારો ભય રાખનારા મને જોઈને આનંદ પામશે કારણ કે મેં તમારાં વચનોની આશા રાખી છે.
75 I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.
૭૫હે યહોવાહ, હું જાણું છું કે, તમારાં વચનો ન્યાયી છે અને વિશ્વાસુપણાએ તમે મને શિસ્તબદ્ધ કર્યો છે.
76 Let, I pray Thee, Thy lovingkindness be ready to comfort me, according to Thy promise unto Thy servant.
૭૬તમારા સેવકને આપેલા તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે તમારી કૃપાથી મને દિલાસો મળો.
77 Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for Thy law is my delight.
૭૭હું જીવતો રહું, માટે તમારી દયા મને બતાવો, કેમ કે તમારો નિયમ એ જ મારો આનંદ છે.
78 Let the proud be put to shame, for they have distorted my cause with falsehood; but I will meditate in Thy precepts.
૭૮અભિમાનીઓ લજ્જા પામો, કેમ કે તેઓ મારા વિષે જૂઠું બોલ્યા છે; પણ હું તો તમારાં વચનોનું મનન કરું છું.
79 Let those that fear Thee return unto me, and they that know Thy testimonies.
૭૯જેઓ તમને માન આપે છે અને જેઓને તમારાં સાક્ષ્યો વિષે ડહાપણ છે, તેઓ મારી પાસે આવો.
80 Let my heart be undivided in Thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
૮૦તમારા નિયમોની આધીનતામાં મારું હૃદય નિર્દોષ રહો કે જેથી મારે બદનામ ન થવું પડે.
81 CAPH. My soul pineth for Thy salvation; in Thy word do I hope.
૮૧કાફ. મારો જીવ તમારા તરફથી મળતા ઉદ્ધારને માટે મૂંઝાય છે; હું તમારાં વચનની આશા રાખું છું.
82 Mine eyes fail for Thy word, saying: 'When wilt Thou comfort me?'
૮૨તમે મને ક્યારે દિલાસો આપશો? એમ કહેતાં મારી આંખો તમારાં વચનને માટે નિસ્તેજ થઈ જાય છે.
83 For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; yet do I not forget Thy statutes.
૮૩કેમ કે હું ધુમાડામાં રહેલી મશકના જેવો થઈ ગયો છું; હું તમારા વિધિઓને વીસરતો નથી.
84 How many are the days of Thy servant? When wilt Thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
૮૪તમારા સેવકના દિવસ કેટલા છે? મને સતાવનારાઓનો ન્યાય તમે ક્યારે કરશો?
85 The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to Thy law.
૮૫જે ગર્વિષ્ઠો તમારા નિયમો પ્રમાણે નથી વર્તતા, તેઓએ મારા માટે ખાડા ખોદ્યા છે.
86 All Thy commandments are faithful; they persecute me for nought; help Thou me.
૮૬તેઓ વિનાકારણ મને ત્રાસ આપે છે, તમે મને મદદ કરો; તમારી સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓ ભરોસાપાત્ર છે.
87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but as for me, I forsook not Thy precepts.
૮૭પૃથ્વી પરથી તેઓએ લગભગ મારો નાશ કર્યો હતો, પણ મેં તમારાં શાસનોનો ત્યાગ કર્યો નથી.
88 Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness, and I will observe the testimony of Thy mouth.
૮૮તમારી કૃપા પ્રમાણે તમે મને જિવાડો; એટલે હું તમારા મુખની શિખામણ પાળીશ.
89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, Thy word standeth fast in heaven.
૮૯લામેદ. હે યહોવાહ, તમારું વચન આકાશમાં સદાકાળ સ્થિર છે.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
૯૦તમારું વિશ્વાસપણું પેઢી દરપેઢી કાયમ રહે છે; તમે જ પૃથ્વી સ્થાપી છે અને તે નીભી રહે છે.
91 They stand this day according to Thine ordinances; for all things are Thy servants.
૯૧તમારાં ન્યાયી વચનને કારણે દરેક વસ્તુ આજ સુધી નીભી રહી છે; કેમ કે તે સર્વ તમારા સેવકો છે.
92 Unless Thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
૯૨જો તમારા નિયમમાં મેં આનંદ માન્યો ન હોત, તો હું મારા દુઃખમાં જ નાશ પામ્યો હોત.
93 I will never forget Thy precepts; for with them Thou hast quickened me.
૯૩હું કદી તમારાં શાસનોને ભૂલીશ નહિ, કારણ કે તમે મને તેઓથી જ જિવાડ્યો છે.
94 I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts.
૯૪હું તમારો છું; મારું રક્ષણ કરો, કારણ કે મેં તમારાં શાસનોને શોધ્યાં છે.
95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider Thy testimonies.
૯૫દુષ્ટો મારો નાશ કરવાની તૈયારીમાં છે, પણ હું શાંત રહીને તમારાં વચનોમાં ધ્યાન રાખીશ.
96 I have seen an end to every purpose; but Thy commandment is exceeding broad.
૯૬મેં જોયું છે કે પ્રત્યેક વસ્તુઓને તેની પોતાની સીમાઓ હોય છે, પણ તમારી આજ્ઞાની તો સીમા જ નથી.
97 MEM. O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
૯૭મેમ. તમારા નિયમો પર હું કેટલો બધો પ્રેમ રાખું છું! હું આખો દિવસ તેમના વિષે મનન કરું છું.
98 Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
૯૮મારા શત્રુઓના કરતાં તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ મને વધુ બુદ્ધિમાન કરે છે; કારણ કે તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ મારી પાસે સર્વદા છે.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my (meditation)
૯૯મારામાં મારા શિક્ષકો કરતાં વધારે શાણપણ છે કારણ કે હું તમારાં સાક્ષ્યોનું મનન કરું છું.
100 I understand more than mine elders, because I have keep Thy precepts.
૧૦૦વૃદ્ધોના કરતાં હું વિશેષ જાણું છું; આ એ માટે કે મેં તમારા નિયમો પાળ્યા છે.
101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, in order that I might observe Thy word.
૧૦૧હું તમારું વચન પાળી શકું તે માટે મેં મારા પગ સર્વ ભૂંડા માર્ગોથી પાછા વાળ્યા છે.
102 I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances; for Thou hast instructed me.
૧૦૨તમારાં ન્યાયી વચનોને મેં તજી દીધા નથી, કારણ કે તમે મને તે શીખવ્યાં છે.
103 How sweet are Thy words unto my palate! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
૧૦૩મારી રુચિને તમારાં વચનો કેવા મીઠાં લાગે છે, હા, તેઓ મારા મુખને માટે મધ કરતાં વધુ મીઠાં છે!
104 From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
૧૦૪તમારાં શાસનોથી મને સમજણ મળે છે; માટે હું દરેક જૂઠા માર્ગને ધિક્કારું છું.
105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
૧૦૫નુન. મારા પગોને માટે તમારાં વચન દીવારૂપ છે અને મારા માર્ગોને માટે અજવાળારૂપ છે.
106 I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Thy righteous ordinances.
૧૦૬હું તમારાં યથાર્થ ન્યાયશાસનો પાળીશ, એવી પ્રતિજ્ઞા મેં કરી હતી અને તે પાળી પણ છે.
107 I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
૧૦૭હું દુઃખમાં બહુ દબાઈ ગયો છું; હે યહોવાહ, તમારાં વચનો પ્રમાણે મને જિવાડો.
108 Accept, I beseech Thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Thine ordinances.
૧૦૮હે યહોવાહ, મારા મુખનાં રાજીખુશીથી આપેલાં ઐચ્છિકાર્પણનો તમે સ્વીકાર કરો; અને તમારાં ન્યાયવચનો મને શીખવો.
109 My soul is continually in my hand; yet have I not forgotten Thy law.
૧૦૯મારો પ્રાણ સદા મુશ્કેલીમાં છે, પણ હું તમારા નિયમને વીસરતો નથી.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet went I not astray from Thy precepts.
૧૧૦દુષ્ટોએ મારે માટે પાશ નાખ્યો છે, પણ હું તમારાં શાસનોથી નાસી ગયો નથી.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
૧૧૧મેં તમારાં સાક્ષ્યોને સદાકાળનો વારસો માન્યાં છે, કેમ કે તેઓ મારા હૃદયનો આનંદ છે.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes, for ever, at every step.
૧૧૨તમારા વિધિઓ અંત સુધી સદા પાળવાને મેં મારા હૃદયને વાળ્યું છે.
113 SAMECH. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Thy law do I love.
૧૧૩સામેખ. હું બે મન વાળાઓને ધિક્કારું છું, પણ હું તમારા નિયમ પર પ્રેમ રાખું છું.
114 Thou art my covert and my shield; in Thy word do I hope.
૧૧૪તમે જ મારી સંતાવાની જગ્યા તથા ઢાલ છો; હું તમારાં વચનની આશા રાખું છે.
115 Depart from me, ye evildoers; that I may keep the commandments of my God.
૧૧૫દુષ્ટ મનવાળા માણસો મારાથી દૂર રહો, કે જેથી હું મારા ઈશ્વરની આજ્ઞાઓ પાળું.
116 Uphold me according unto Thy word, that I may live; and put me not to shame in my hope.
૧૧૬તમારા વચન મુજબ મને આધાર આપો કે જેથી હું જીવી શકું અને મારી આશાઓને નિરર્થક કરશો નહિ.
117 Support Thou me, and I shall be saved; and I will occupy myself with Thy statutes continually.
૧૧૭તમે મારા સહાયકારી થાઓ અને હું સલામત રહીશ; હું સદા તમારા નીતિ નિયમોનું મનન કરીશ.
118 Thou hast made light of all them that err from Thy statutes; for their deceit is vain.
૧૧૮જેઓ તમારા નિયમોનો ભંગ કરે છે તેનો તમે ધિક્કાર કરો છો, કારણ કે તેઓનો ઢોંગ વ્યર્થ છે.
119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Thy testimonies.
૧૧૯તમે પૃથ્વીના સર્વ દુષ્ટોને કચરાની જેમ ફેંકી દો છો; માટે હું તમારા નિયમોને પ્રેમ કરું છું.
120 My flesh shuddereth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments.
૧૨૦હું તમારા ભયથી કાંપુ છું અને હું તમારા ન્યાયવચનોથી ગભરાઉં છું.
121 AIN. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to mine oppressors.
૧૨૧હાયિન. મેં જે ન્યાયી અને સાચું છે તે કર્યું છે; મને મારા પર જુલમ કરનારનાં હાથમાં ન સોંપો.
122 Be surety for Thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.
૧૨૨તમારા સેવક માટે તેના જામીન થાઓ; ગર્વિષ્ઠ લોકોને મારા પર જુલમ કરવા ન દો.
123 Mine eyes fail for Thy salvation, and for Thy righteous word.
૧૨૩તમારા ઉદ્ધારની અને ન્યાયી વચનની રાહ જોતાં જોતાં મારી આંખો નિસ્તેજ થઈ ગઈ છે.
124 Deal with Thy servant according unto Thy mercy, and teach me Thy statutes.
૧૨૪તમારી કૃપા પ્રમાણે તમારા સેવકની સાથે વર્તજો અને તમારા વિધિઓ મને શીખવજો.
125 I am Thy servant, give me understanding, that I may know Thy testimonies.
૧૨૫હું તો તમારો સેવક છું, મને બુદ્ધિ આપો, કે જેથી હું તમારાં સાક્ષ્યોને જાણી શકું.
126 It is time for the LORD to work; they have made void Thy law.
૧૨૬હવે યહોવાહને કામ કરવાનો સમય આવ્યો છે, કેમ કે લોકોએ તમારો નિયમ તોડ્યો છે.
127 Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
૧૨૭હું સોના કરતાં, શુદ્ધ સોના કરતાં પણ તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ પર વધારે પ્રેમ રાખું છું.
128 Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.
૧૨૮તમારાં શાસનો પ્રમાણે હું મારી સર્વ વર્તણૂક યથાર્થ રાખું છું અને હું દરેક જૂઠા માર્ગને ધિક્કારું છું.
129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul keep them.
૧૨૯પે. તમારા નિયમો અદ્દભુત છે; તેથી હું તેમને પાળું છું.
130 The opening of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
૧૩૦તમારાં વચનો ખુલ્લો પ્રકાશ આપે છે; તે ભોળા માણસ પણ સમજી શકે છે.
131 I opened wide my mouth, and panted; for I longed for Thy commandments.
૧૩૧હું મારું મુખ ઉઘાડીને તલપી રહ્યો છું, કેમ કે હું તમારી આજ્ઞાઓની અભિલાષા રાખતો હતો.
132 Turn Thee towards me, and be gracious unto me, as is Thy wont to do unto those that love Thy name.
૧૩૨જેમ તમે તમારા નામ પર પ્રેમ રાખનારાઓની સાથે વર્તો છો, તેમ તમે મારા તરફ ફરીને મારા પર દયા કરો.
133 Order my footsteps by Thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
૧૩૩તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે મને ચલાવો; કોઈ પણ પાપને મારા પર શાસન કરવા ન દો.
134 Redeem me from the oppression of man, and I will observe Thy precepts.
૧૩૪જુલમી માણસોથી મને બચાવો, કે જેથી હું તમારાં શાસનોનું પાલન કરી શકું.
135 Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; and teach me Thy statutes.
૧૩૫તમારા સેવક પર તમારા મુખનો પ્રકાશ પાડો અને તમારા બધા નિયમો મને શીખવો.
136 Mine eyes run down with rivers of water, because they observe not Thy law.
૧૩૬તેઓ તમારા નિયમો પાળતા નથી, તેથી મારી આંખોમાંથી ચોધાર આંસુ વહે છે.
137 TZADE. Righteous art Thou, O LORD, and upright are Thy judgments.
૧૩૭સાદે. હે યહોવાહ, તમે ન્યાયી છો અને તમારાં ન્યાયવચનો યથાર્થ છે.
138 Thou hast commanded Thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
૧૩૮ન્યાયીપણાથી તથા પૂરેપૂરા વિશ્વાસુપણાથી તમે તમારાં સાક્ષ્યો ફરમાવ્યાં છે.
139 My zeal hath undone me, because mine adversaries have forgotten Thy words.
૧૩૯મારા શત્રુઓ તમારાં વચન વીસરી ગયા છે તેથી મારા રોષે મને ક્ષીણ કર્યો છે.
140 Thy word is tried to the uttermost, and Thy servant loveth it.
૧૪૦તમારું વચન તદ્દન નિર્મળ છે અને તમારો સેવક તેના પર પ્રેમ રાખે છે.
141 I am small and despised; yet have I not forgotten Thy precepts.
૧૪૧હું નાનો તથા ધિક્કારાયેલો છું, તોપણ હું તમારાં શાસનોને ભૂલી જતો નથી.
142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth.
૧૪૨તમારું ન્યાયીપણું તો અનંતકાળ ટકશે; અને તમારો નિયમ સત્ય છે.
143 Trouble and anguish have overtaken me; yet Thy commandments are my delight.
૧૪૩મને ઉપાધિઓએ તથા આપત્તિઓએ જકડી લીધો છે, તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ મારો આનંદ છે.
144 Thy testimonies are righteous for ever; give me understanding, and I shall live.
૧૪૪તમારાં સાક્ષ્યો સદાકાળ ન્યાયયુક્ત છે; માટે મને સમજણ આપો, જેથી હું જીવતો રહીશ.
145 KOPH. I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O LORD; I will keep Thy statutes.
૧૪૫કોફ. મેં ખરા હૃદયથી વિનંતિ કરી છે, “હે યહોવાહ, મને ઉત્તર આપો, હું તમારા નિયમોનું પાલન કરીશ.
146 I have called Thee, save me, and I will observe Thy testimonies.
૧૪૬મેં તમને પ્રાર્થના કરી છે; મારો બચાવ કરો, એટલે હું તમારા નિયમોનું પાલન કરીશ.”
147 I rose early at dawn, and cried; I hoped in Thy word.
૧૪૭પ્રભાત થતાં પહેલા મેં સહાયને માટે પ્રાર્થના કરી. મને તમારાં વચનોની આશા છે.
148 Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, that I might meditate in Thy word.
૧૪૮તમારા વચનનું મનન કરવા માટે મારી આંખો રાતના છેલ્લાં પહોર અગાઉ ઊઘડી ગઈ હતી.
149 Hear my voice according unto Thy lovingkindness; quicken me, O LORD, as Thou art wont.
૧૪૯તમારી કૃપા પ્રમાણે મારી વાણી સાંભળો; હે યહોવાહ, તમારાં ન્યાયવચનો પ્રમાણે મને જિવાડો.
150 They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; they are far from Thy law.
૧૫૦જેઓ દુષ્ટ ભાવથી મારી પાછળ લાગેલા છે તેઓ મારી નજીક આવે છે, પણ તેઓ તમારા નિયમથી દૂર છે.
151 Thou art nigh, O LORD; and all Thy commandments are truth.
૧૫૧હે યહોવાહ, તમે મારી નજદીક છો અને તમારી સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓ સત્ય છે.
152 Of old have I known from Thy testimonies that Thou hast founded them for ever.
૧૫૨લાંબા સમય પૂર્વે તમારા સાક્ષ્યોથી મેં જાણ્યું કે, તમે તેઓને સદાને માટે સ્થાપ્યા છે.
153 RESH. O see mine affliction, and rescue me; for I do not forget Thy law.
૧૫૩રેશ. મારી વિપત્તિ સામું જુઓ અને મને સહાય કરો, કેમ કે હું તમારો નિયમ ભૂલતો નથી.
154 Plead Thou my cause, and redeem me; quicken me according to Thy word.
૧૫૪મારી લડતને લડો અને મને બચાવો; મને તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે જીવવા દો.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked; for they seek not Thy statutes.
૧૫૫દુષ્ટોથી ઉદ્ધાર દૂર રહે છે, કારણ કે તે તમારા નિયમોને પ્રેમ કરતા નથી.
156 Great are Thy compassions, O LORD; quicken me as Thou art wont.
૧૫૬હે યહોવાહ, તમારી કરુણા મહાન છે; તમારાં ન્યાયવચનો પ્રમાણે મને જિવાડો.
157 Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; yet have I not turned aside from Thy testimonies.
૧૫૭મને સતાવનારા અને મારા શત્રુઓ ઘણા છે, પણ હું તમારા નિયમોથી પાછો હઠી ગયો નથી.
158 I beheld them that were faithless, and strove with them; because they observed not Thy word.
૧૫૮મેં વિશ્વાસઘાતીઓને જોયા અને મેં તેમનો અસ્વીકાર કર્યો કારણ કે તેઓ તમારા વચનનું પાલન કરતાં નથી.
159 O see how I love Thy precepts; quicken me, O LORD, according to Thy lovingkindness.
૧૫૯હું તમારાં શાસનો પર કેટલો બધો પ્રેમ રાખું છું; હે યહોવાહ, તે ધ્યાનમાં લેજો, તમારી કૃપા અનુસાર તમે મને જિવાડો.
160 The beginning of Thy word is truth; and all Thy righteous ordinance endureth for ever.
૧૬૦તમારાં બધાં વચનો સત્ય છે; તમારાં સર્વ ન્યાયી વચનો અનંતકાળ સુધી ટકનારાં છે.
161 SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of Thy words.
૧૬૧શીન. સરદારોએ મને વિનાકારણ સતાવ્યો છે; મારું હૃદય તમારાં વચનોનો ભય રાખે છે.
162 I rejoice at Thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
૧૬૨જેમ કોઈ એકને મોટો ખજાનો મળે તેમ તમારા વચનથી મને આનંદ થાય છે.
163 I hate and abhor falsehood; Thy law do I love.
૧૬૩હું અસત્યને ધિક્કારું છું અને તેનાથી કંટાળું છું, પણ હું તમારા નિયમને ચાહું છું.
164 Seven times a day do I praise Thee, because of Thy righteous ordinances.
૧૬૪તમારાં યથાર્થ અને ન્યાયી વચનોને કારણે, હું દિવસમાં સાતવાર તમારી સ્તુતિ કરું છું.
165 Great peace have they that love Thy law; and there is no stumbling for them.
૧૬૫તમારા નિયમ પર પ્રેમ રાખનારાઓને અત્યંત શાંતિ મળે છે; તેઓને કોઈ પણ ઠોકર ખવડાવી શકે તેમ નથી.
166 I have hoped for Thy salvation, O LORD, and have done Thy commandments.
૧૬૬હે યહોવાહ, તમારા ઉદ્ધારની મેં આશા રાખી છે અને મેં તમારી આજ્ઞાઓ પાળી છે.
167 My soul hath observed Thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
૧૬૭હું તમારાં સાક્ષ્યોને અનુસર્યો અને હું તેમના પર ઘણો પ્રેમ રાખું છું.
168 I have observed Thy precepts and Thy testimonies; for all my ways are before Thee.
૧૬૮હું તમારાં બધાં શાસનો અને સાક્ષ્યોને અનુસર્યો છું, કેમ કે હું જે કરું તે બધું તમે જાણો છો.
169 TAV. Let my cry come near before Thee, O LORD; give me understanding according to Thy word.
૧૬૯તાવ. હે યહોવાહ, મને સહાય કરવાને મારી પ્રાર્થનાઓ સાંભળો; તમે વચન આપ્યું છે તે પ્રમાણે મને સમજણ આપો.
170 Let my supplication come before Thee; deliver me according to Thy word.
૧૭૦મારી પ્રાર્થનાને તમારી સમક્ષ આવવા દો; તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે મને સહાય કરો.
171 Let my lips utter praise: because Thou teachest me Thy statutes.
૧૭૧મારા હોઠો તમારી સ્તુતિ ઉચ્ચારશે, કારણ કે તમે મને તમારા વિધિઓ શીખવો છો.
172 Let my tongue sing of Thy word; for all Thy commandments are righteousness.
૧૭૨મારી જીભ તમારા વચન વિષે ગાયન કરો, કારણ કે તમારી સર્વ આજ્ઞાઓ ન્યાયી છે.
173 Let Thy hand be ready to help me; for I have chosen Thy precepts.
૧૭૩મને મદદ કરવા તમારો હાથ તૈયાર થાઓ, કારણ કે મેં તમારાં શાસનોને અનુસરવાનું પસંદ કર્યું છે.
174 I have longed for Thy salvation, O LORD; and Thy law is my delight.
૧૭૪હે યહોવાહ, હું તમારા તરફથી મળતા ઉદ્ધારને માટે અભિલાષી છું અને તમારો નિયમ એ જ મારો આનંદ છે.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise Thee; and let Thine ordinances help me.
૧૭૫મારા આત્માને જિવાડો જેથી હું તમારી સ્તુતિ કરી શકું; તમારાં ન્યાયવચનો મને મદદરૂપ થાઓ.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Thy servant; for I have not forgotten Thy commandments.
૧૭૬હું ભૂલા પડેલા ઘેટાંની જેમ ભટકી ગયો છું; તમારા સેવકને શોધી કાઢો, કારણ કે હું તમારી આજ્ઞાઓને ભૂલ્યો નથી.
