< Psalms 112 >

1 Hallelujah. Happy is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.
Mou fakamālō kia Sihova. ʻOku monūʻia ʻae tangata ʻoku ne manavahē kia Sihova, mo ne fiefia lahi ʻi heʻene ngaahi fekau.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
‌ʻE mālohi hono hako ʻi māmani: ko e toʻutangata ʻoe angatonu tenau monūʻia.
3 Wealth and riches are in his house; and his merit endureth for ever.
‌ʻE ʻi hono fale ʻae koloa mo e nāunau: pea ʻoku tolonga ʻo taʻengata ʻa ʻene angatonu.
4 Unto the upright He shineth as a light in the darkness, gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
‌ʻOku tupu ʻae maama ki he angatonu ʻi he poʻuli: ʻoku angaʻofa ia, pea fonu ʻi he manavaʻofa, pea māʻoniʻoni.
5 Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth, that ordereth his affairs rightfully.
‌ʻOku fakahā ʻe he tangata angalelei ʻae ʻofa, pea ʻoku faʻa ʻatu: te ne pule ki heʻene meʻa ʻi he poto.
6 For he shall never be moved; the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.
Ko e moʻoni ʻe ʻikai ueʻi ia ʻo lauikuonga: ʻe taʻengata ʻae fakamanatu ki he kakai māʻoniʻoni.
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is stedfast, trusting in the LORD.
‌ʻE ʻikai te ne manavahē ki he ongoongo kovi: kuo maʻu hono loto ʻi he falala kia Sihova.
8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he gaze upon his adversaries.
Kuo fokotuʻumaʻu ʻa hono loto: ʻe ʻikai te ne manavahē, ka ʻe mamata ia ki hono ngaahi fili.
9 He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted in honour.
Kuo tufa ʻe ia, kuo ne foaki ki he masiva; ʻoku tolonga ʻo taʻengata ʻa ʻene angatonu; ʻe hiki hake hono nifo ʻi he ongolelei.
10 The wicked shall see it, and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.
‌ʻE mamata ki ai ʻae angahala, pea tenau mamahi: ʻe fengaiʻitaki hono nifo, pea ʻe mole atu ia: ʻe ʻauha ʻae holi ʻae angahala.
