Proverbs 5
1 My son, attend unto my wisdom; incline thine ear to my understanding;
၁ငါ့ သား ၊ သင်သည် သမ္မာ သတိရှိ၍ ၊ သင့် ၏နှုတ်ခမ်း သည် သိပ္ပံ အတတ်ကို စောင့် မည်အကြောင်း၊
2 That thou mayest preserve discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
၂ငါ့ ပညာ ကို မှတ် ကျုံး၍၊ ငါ ပေးသောဉာဏ် သို့ သင့် နား ကို လှည့် လော့။
3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil;
၃အကြောင်း မူကား၊ အမျိုး ပျက်သောမိန်းမ၏ နှုတ်ခမ်း သည် ပျားလပို့ ကဲ့သို့ယိုတတ် ၍ ၊ သူ ပြော သောစကား သည် ဆီ ထက် ချော သော်လည်း၊
4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
၄အဆုံး ၌ကား ၊ သူ သည်ဘင်းခါးရွက် ကဲ့သို့ ခါး ၍၊ သန်လျက် နှင့်အမျှ ထက် ၏။
၅သူ ၏ခြေ တို့သည် သေ ခြင်းသို့ဆင်း ၍၊ သူ သွား ရာလမ်း သည် မရဏာ နိုင်ငံသို့ ရောက်တတ်၏။ (Sheol h7585)
6 Lest she should walk the even path of life, her ways wander, but she knoweth it not.
၆သင်သည်အသက် လမ်း ကို မ ဆင်ခြင် ရအောင်၊ သူ့ ထုံးစံ ဓလေ့တို့သည် တရွေ့ရွေ့ ပြောင်းလဲသဖြင့်၊ သင်သည် နား မ လည်နိုင်ရ။
7 Now therefore, O ye children, hearken unto me, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
၇သို့ဖြစ်၍ ငါ့သား တို့၊ ငါ့ စကားကို နားထောင် ကြလော့။ ငါ ဟောပြော ချက်တို့ကို မ ပယ် ကြနှင့်။
8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house;
၈ထိုသို့သောမိန်းမ ကို ဝေး စွာရှောင်သွားလော့။ သူ့ နေရာ တံခါးဝ သို့ မ ချဉ်း နှင့်။
9 Lest thou give thy vigour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel;
၉သို့မဟုတ် သင်သည် ကိုယ် ဂုဏ် အသရေကို သူတပါး ၌ ၎င်း၊ ကိုယ် အသက် ကို ကြမ်းတမ်း သောသူတို့ ၌ ၎င်း အပ် လိမ့်မည်။
10 Lest strangers be filled with thy strength, and thy labours be in the house of an alien;
၁၀တပါးအမျိုးသား တို့သည် သင် ၏စည်းစိမ် နှင့် ပြည့်ဝ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သင် လုပ် ၍ ရသောဥစ္စာသည် တပါး အမျိုးသားအိမ် သို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။
11 And thou moan, when thine end cometh, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
၁၁နောက်ဆုံး ၌ သင့် အသား ၊ သင့် ကိုယ် ကာယ ဆွေးမြေ့ သောအခါ၊
12 And say: 'How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
၁၂ငါသည် သွန်သင် ခြင်းကို မုန်း လေပြီတကား။ ဆုံးမ ခြင်းကို စိတ် နှလုံးထဲမှာ မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုလေပြီ တကား။
13 Neither have I hearkened to the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!
၁၃ငါ့ ဆရာ တို့၏ စကား ကို နား မ ထောင်ဘဲ၊ ငါ့ အား သွန်သင် သောသူတို့ ၏စကားကို နား မ ခံဘဲနေလေပြီ တကား။
14 I was well nigh in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.'
၁၄စည်းဝေး သော ပရိတ်သတ် များအလယ် ၌ ဒုစရိုက် မျိုးကို ကုန်စင် လုသည်တိုင်အောင် ငါပြု လေပြီ တကားဟု မြည်တမ်း ရလိမ့်မည်။
15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
၁၅ကိုယ် ဆိုင်သော ရေ အိုး ကို သုံး၍ ၊ ကိုယ် ရေတွင်း ထဲက ထွက် သော စမ်းရေကို သောက် လော့။
16 Let thy springs be dispersed abroad, and courses of water in the streets.
၁၆သင် ၏ စမ်းရေ များပြား ၍၊ လမ်း များအနား မှာ စီးသော မြစ် များ ဖြစ်စေလော့။
17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.
၁၇တပါး အမျိုးသားနှင့် ပေါင်းဘက်၍ မ ဆိုင်စေဘဲ၊ ကိုယ် တပါး တည်းသာ ဆိုင် စေလော့။
18 Let thy fountain be blessed; and have joy of the wife of thy youth.
၁၈သင် ၏စမ်းရေ တွင်း၌မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ စေ၍ ၊ အသက် အရွယ် ပျိုစဉ် ကာလ၊ ပေါင်းဘော်သော မယား နှင့်အတူပျော်မွေ့ လော့။
19 A lovely hind and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; with her love be thou ravished always.
၁၉သူသည်စုံမက် တတ်သော သမင်မ ၊ နှစ်လိုဘွယ် သော ဒရယ်မ ကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍ ၊ သူ ၏သားမြတ် တို့သည် သင် ၏အလိုဆန္ဒ ကို အစဉ်ပြေစေ၍၊ သူ့ ကိုချစ် သောစိတ် နှင့် အစဉ် ယစ်မူး လျက်နေလော့။
20 Why then wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of an alien?
၂၀ငါ့ သား ၊ သင်သည် အမျိုး ပျက်သောမိန်းမနှင့် အဘယ် ကြောင့်ယစ်မူး သနည်း။ ပြည်တန်ဆာ မ၏ ရင်ပတ် ကိုအဘယ်ကြောင့် ဘက်ယမ်း သနည်း။
21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He maketh even all his paths.
၂၁လူ သွားလာသမျှသော လမ်း တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား မျက်မှောက် တော်၌ ရှိကြ၍ ၊ သွား လာသမျှ သော အခြင်းအရာ တို့ကို စူးစမ်း တော်မူ၏။
22 His own iniquities shall ensnare the wicked, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sin.
၂၂အဓမ္မ လူသည် မိမိ ပြုသော ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ် ဖြင့် ဘမ်းမိ ခြင်း၊ မိမိ အပြစ် ကြိုး တို့ဖြင့် ချည်နှောင် ခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။
23 He shall die for lack of instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall reel.
၂၃သူ သည် အလွန် မိုက် သောကြောင့် မှားယွင်း ၍ ၊ သွန်သင် ခြင်းကို မ ခံရဘဲသေ သွားရလိမ့်မည်။
