< Judges 4 >

1 And the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.
Lẹ́yìn ikú Ehudu, àwọn ènìyàn Israẹli sì tún ṣẹ̀, wọ́n ṣe ohun tí ó burú ní ojú Olúwa.
2 And the LORD gave them over into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, who dwelt in Harosheth-goiim.
Nítorí náà Olúwa jẹ́ kí Jabini, ọba àwọn Kenaani, ẹni tí ó jẹ ọba ní Hasori, ṣẹ́gun wọn. Orúkọ olórí ogun rẹ̀ ni Sisera ẹni tí ń gbé Haroseti-Hagoyimu.
3 And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD; for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.

5 And she sat under the palm-tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in the hill-country of Ephraim; and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

6 And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him: 'Hath not the LORD, the God of Israel, commanded, saying: Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

7 And I will draw unto thee to the brook Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thy hand.

Baraki sì dá a lóhùn pé, “Èmi yóò lọ tí ìwọ ó bá bá mi lọ, ṣùgbọ́n tí ìwọ kì yóò bá bá mi lọ, èmi kì yóò lọ.”
9 And she said: 'I will surely go with thee; notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thy honour; for the LORD will give Sisera over into the hand of a woman.' And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
Debora dá a lóhùn pé, “ó dára, èmi yóò bá ọ lọ. Ṣùgbọ́n ọlá ìṣẹ́gun tí o ń lọ yìí kò ní jẹ́ tìrẹ, nítorí Olúwa yóò fi Sisera lé obìnrin lọ́wọ́,” báyìí Debora bá Baraki lọ sí Kedeṣi.
10 And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh; and there went up ten thousand men at his feet; and Deborah went up with him.

11 Now Heber the Kenite had severed himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far as Elon-bezaanannim, which is by Kedesh.

13 And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth-goiim, unto the brook Kishon.

14 And Deborah said unto Barak: 'Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thy hand; is not the LORD gone out before thee?' So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
Debora sì wí fún Baraki pé, “Lọ! Lónìí ni Olúwa fi Sisera lé ọ lọ́wọ́, Olúwa ti lọ síwájú rẹ.” Baraki sì síwájú, àwọn ọmọ-ogun rẹ̀ ẹgbẹ̀rún mẹ́wàá sì tẹ̀lé e lẹ́yìn, wọ́n sì kọjá sí òkè Tabori.
15 And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot, and fled away on his feet.

17 Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
Ṣùgbọ́n Sisera ti fi ẹsẹ̀ sálọ sí àgọ́ Jaeli aya Heberi ẹ̀yà Keni: nítorí ìbá dá ọ̀rẹ́ àlàáfíà wà láàrín Jabini ọba Hasori àti ìdílé Heberi ti ẹ̀yà Keni.

21 Then Jael Heber's wife took a tent-pin, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground; for he was in a deep sleep; so he swooned and died.
Ṣùgbọ́n Jaeli ìyàwó Heberi mú ìṣó àgọ́ tí ó mú àti òòlù ní ọwọ́ rẹ̀, ó sì yọ́ wọ inú ibi tí ó sùn, nígbà tí ó ti sùn fọnfọn, nígbà náà ni ó kan ìṣó náà mọ́ òkè ìpéǹpéjú rẹ̀, ó sì wọlé ṣinṣin, ó sì kú.
22 And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him: 'Come, and I will show thee the man whom thou seekest.' And he came unto her; and, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the tent-pin was in his temples.
