Jeremiah 33

1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the guard, saying:

൧യിരെമ്യാവ് കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്ത് തടവിലാക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവനുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

2 Thus saith the LORD the Maker thereof, the LORD that formed it to establish it, the LORD is His name:

൨“ഭൂമിയെ നിർമ്മിച്ചവനും, അതിനെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചവനുമായ യഹോവ, യഹോവ എന്ന് നാമം ഉള്ളവൻ തന്നെ, ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു;

3 Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and will tell thee great things, and hidden, which thou knowest not.

൩“എന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുക; ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് ഉത്തരം അരുളും; നീ അറിയാത്ത മഹത്തും അഗോചരവുമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിയിക്കും.

4 For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are broken down for mounds, and for ramparts;

൪ഉപരോധദുർഗ്ഗങ്ങൾക്കും വാളിനും എതിരെ തടുത്തു നില്ക്കേണ്ടതിനായി ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ പൊളിച്ചിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വീടുകളെയും യെഹൂദാ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളെയും കുറിച്ച് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

5 whereon they come to fight with the Chaldeans, even to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in Mine anger and in My fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid My face from this city:

൫അവർ കൽദയരോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്നു; എന്നാൽ അത്, ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിലും എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിലും സംഹരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യരുടെ ശവങ്ങൾകൊണ്ട് അവയെ നിറയ്ക്കുവാനത്രേ; അവരുടെ സകലദോഷവും നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഈ നഗരത്തിനു മറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 Behold, I will bring it healing and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

൬ഇതാ, ഞാൻ രോഗശാന്തിയും ആരോഗ്യവും വരുത്തി അവരെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കുകയും സമാധാനത്തിന്റെയും സത്യത്തിന്റെയും സമൃദ്ധി അവർക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.

7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

൭ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയുടെ പ്രവാസികളെയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെയും മടക്കിവരുത്തി പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ അവർക്ക് അഭിവൃദ്ധി വരുത്തും.

8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned against Me, and whereby they have transgressed against Me.

൮അവർ എന്നോട് പാപം ചെയ്ത സകല അകൃത്യവും ഞാൻ നീക്കി അവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുകയും, അവർ എനിക്കെതിരെ ചെയ്ത ദ്രോഹപൂർവമായ സകല അകൃത്യങ്ങളെയും മോചിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

9 And this city shall be to Me for a name of joy, for a praise and for a glory, before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them, and shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I procure unto it.

൯ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് ചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാനന്മയെയും കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കുന്ന സകലഭൂജാതികളുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ അത് എനിക്ക് ആനന്ദനാമവും പ്രശംസയും മഹത്ത്വവും ആയിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിന് വരുത്തുന്ന എല്ലാ നന്മയും സർവ്വസമാധാനവും നിമിത്തം അവർ പേടിച്ചു വിറയ്ക്കും”.

10 Thus saith the LORD: Yet again there shall be heard in this place, whereof ye say: It is waste, without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast,

൧൦യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “മനുഷ്യരും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും മനുഷ്യനോ, നിവാസികളോ, മൃഗമോ ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേം വീഥികളിലും

11 the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say: 'Give thanks to the LORD of hosts, for the LORD is good, for His mercy endureth for ever', even of them that bring offerings of thanksgiving into the house of the LORD. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, saith the LORD.

൧൧ഇനിയും ആനന്ദഘോഷവും സന്തോഷധ്വനിയും മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരവും മണവാട്ടിയുടെ സ്വരവും: ‘സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ, യഹോവ നല്ലവനല്ലോ, അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളത്’ എന്ന് പറയുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദവും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ സ്തോത്രയാഗം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദവും കേൾക്കും; ഞാൻ ദേശത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റി പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ ആക്കും” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

12 Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Yet again shall there be in this place, which is waste, without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

൧൨സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “മനുഷ്യനും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും അതിന്റെ സകലപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആടുകളെ കിടത്തുന്ന ഇടയന്മാർക്ക് ഇനിയും മേച്ചിൽപുറം ഉണ്ടാകും;

13 In the cities of the hill-country, in the cities of the Lowland, and in the cities of the South, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks again pass under the hands of him that counteth them, saith the LORD.

൧൩മലനാട്ടിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും താഴ്വീതിയിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും തെക്കെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ബെന്യാമീൻദേശത്തും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആടുകൾ എണ്ണുന്നവന്റെ കൈക്കു കീഴെ ഇനിയും കടന്നുപോകും” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

14 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.

൧൪“ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തോടും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത നല്ലവചനം നിവർത്തിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും” എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.

15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause a shoot of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

൧൫ആ നാളുകളിലും ആ കാലത്തും ഞാൻ ദാവീദിന് നീതിയുള്ള ഒരു മുളയെ മുളപ്പിക്കും; അവൻ ദേശത്ത് നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തും.

16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name whereby she shall be called, the LORD is our righteousness.

൧൬ആ നാളിൽ യെഹൂദാ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും; യെരൂശലേം നിർഭയമായി വസിക്കും; അതിന് ‘യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ നീതി’ എന്ന് പേര് പറയും”.

17 For thus saith the LORD: There shall not be cut off unto David a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

൧൭യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുവാൻ ദാവീദിന് ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരുകയില്ല.

18 neither shall there be cut off unto the priests the Levites a man before Me to offer burnt-offerings, and to burn meal-offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

൧൮ദിനംപ്രതി ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്കുവാനും ഭോജനയാഗം ദഹിപ്പിക്കുവാനും ഹനനയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കുവാനും എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ലേവ്യ പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്ക് ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരുകയുമില്ല”.

19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying:

൧൯യിരെമ്യാവിന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് ഉണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

20 Thus saith the LORD: If ye can break My covenant with the day, and My covenant with the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season;

൨൦“യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “തക്കസമയത്ത് പകലും രാവും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവിധം പകലിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും രാത്രിയോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ലംഘിക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ,

21 Then may also My covenant be broken with David My servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, My ministers.

൨൧എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന് അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നു വാഴുവാൻ ഒരു മകൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരത്തക്കവിധം അവനോടും എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ഉള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം.

22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured; so will I multiply the seed of David My servant, and the Levites that minister unto Me.

൨൨ആകാശത്തിലെ സൈന്യത്തെ എണ്ണുവാനും കടല്പുറത്തെ മണൽ അളക്കുവാനും കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയെയും എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യരെയും വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും.

23 And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying:

൨൩യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് യിരെമ്യാവിനുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

24 'Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying: The two families which the LORD did choose, He hath cast them off? and they contemn My people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

൨൪“യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു വംശങ്ങളെയും അവൻ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു എന്ന് ഈ ജനം പറയുന്നത് നീ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ ‘അത് ഇനി ഒരു ജനതയല്ല’ എന്നു ദുഷിച്ചു പറയുന്നു”.

25 Thus saith the LORD: If My covenant be not with day and night, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

൨൫യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; “പകലിനോടും രാത്രിയോടും ഉള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തിന്റെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും വ്യവസ്ഥ നിയമിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിൽ,

26 then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David My servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have compassion on them.'

൨൬ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിന്റെയും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെയും സന്തതിയെ അബ്രാഹാമിന്‍റെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെയും സന്തതിക്ക് അധിപതിമാരായിരിക്കുവാൻ അവന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽനിന്ന് ഒരാളെ എടുക്കാത്തവിധം തള്ളിക്കളയും. അവരുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ ഞാൻ മടക്കിവരുത്തുകയും അവരോട് കരുണ കാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും”.
