Genesis 11
1 And the whole earth was of one language and of one speech.

5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

13 And Arpachshad lived after he begot Shelah four hundred and three years, and begot sons and daughters.
Shelah ahung pen jouchun Arpachshad chu kum jali le kum thum ahingin, chuin aman cha pasal le numei tamtah ahinbei.
14 And Shelah lived thirty years, and begot Eber.
Shelah kum som thum alhin in ama chu Eber pen na pa ahung hitai.
15 And Shelah lived after he begot Eber four hundred and three years, and begot sons and daughters.
Eber pen jou chun, Shelah chu kum jali le kum thum ahinbe in chuin cha pasal le cha numei jong ahin be nalaiye.
16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begot Peleg.
Eber kum som thumle kum nga alhin in ama chu Peleg pa ahung hi tan ahi.
17 And Eber lived after he begot Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.
Peleg pen jou chun Eber chu kum jali le kum somthum ahing nalaiyin, hiche jou chun aman cha pasal le cha numei tamtah ahinbe nalaiye.
18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begot Reu.
Peleg chu kum som thum alhinin, ama chu Reu pa ahung hitan ahi.
19 And Peleg lived after he begot Reu two hundred and nine years, and begot sons and daughters.
Reu pen jou nung in Peleg chu kum jani le kum ko ahin be nalaiyin, cha pasal le cha numei tamtah ahin be nalaiye.
20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begot Serug.
Reu chu kum som thumle kum ni bou alhinin Serug pen na pa ahung hitai.
21 And Reu lived after he begot Serug two hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.
Serug pen jou chun, Reu chu kum jani le kum sagi ahinbe nalaiyin, hiche jouchun aman cha pasal le cha numei tamtah anei be nalaiye.
22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begot Nahor.
Serug kiti pachu kum som thum bou alhinin Nahor pa ahung hitai.
23 And Serug lived after he begot Nahor two hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
Nahor pen jou chun Serug chu kum jani ahinbe nalaiyin, hiche jou chun aman cha pasal le cha numei phachompi ahinbe nalaiye.
24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begot Terah.
Nahor chu kum som ni le kum ko bou alhin in Terah apeng tai.
25 And Nahor lived after he begot Terah a hundred and nineteen years, and begot sons and daughters.
Terah pen jou chun Nahol chu kum jakhat le kum som le kum ko ahing nalaiyin, hichun aman cha pasal le cha numei simsen lou ahinbe nalaiye.
26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
Terah vang chu kum som sagi jen ahung lhinin Abram, Nahor, chule Haran ahin hingin ahi.
27 Now these are the generations of Terah. Terah begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begot Lot.
Hiche hi Terahte thusim kisei ahi. Terah chun Abram, Nahor, chule Haran pa ahin, chule Haran chu Lot pa ahiye.
28 And Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.

29 And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.

30 And Sarai was barren; she had no child.

31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his son's son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
