Exodus 10
1 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Go in unto Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might show these My signs in the midst of them;
爰にヱホバ、モーセにいひたまひけるはパロの所に入れ我かれの心とその臣下の心を剛硬にせり是はわが此等の徴を彼等の中に示さんため
2 and that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what I have wrought upon Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them; that ye may know that I am the LORD.'
又なんぢをして吾がエジプトにて行ひし事等すなはち吾がエジプトの中にてなしたる徴をなんぢの子となんぢの子の子の耳に語らしめんためなり斯して汝等わがヱホバなるを知べし
3 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him: 'Thus saith the LORD, the God of the Hebrews: How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before Me? let My people go, that they may serve Me.
モーセとアロン、パロの所にいりて彼にいひけるはヘブル人の神ヱホバかく言たまふ何時まで汝は我に降ることを拒むや我民をさらしめて我に事ふることをえせしめよ
4 Else, if thou refuse to let My people go, behold, to-morrow will I bring locusts into thy border;
汝もしわが民を去しむることを拒まば明日我蝗をなんぢの境に入しめん
5 and they shall cover the face of the earth, that one shall not be able to see the earth; and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field;
蝗地の面を蔽て人地を見るあたはざるべし蝗かの免かれてなんぢに遺れる者すなはち雹に打のこされたる者を食ひ野に汝らのために生る諸の樹をくらはん
6 and thy houses shall be filled, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; as neither thy fathers nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day.' And he turned, and went out from Pharaoh.
又なんぢの家となんぢの臣下の家々および凡のエジプト人の家に滿べし是はなんぢの父となんぢの父の父が世にいでしより今日にいたるまで未だ嘗て見ざるものなりと斯て彼身をめぐらしてパロの所よりいでたり
7 And Pharaoh's servants said unto him: 'How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God, knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?'
時にパロの臣下パロにいひけるは何時まで此人われらの羂となるや人々を去しめてその神ヱホバに事ふることをえせしめよ汝なほエジプトの滅ぶるを知ざるやと
8 And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh; and he said unto them: 'Go, serve the LORD your God; but who are they that shall go?'
是をもてモーセとアロンふたたび召れてパロの許にいたるにパロかれらにいふ往てなんぢらの神ヱホバに事よ但し往く者は誰と誰なるや
9 And Moses said: 'We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds we will go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.'
モーセいひけるは我等は幼者をも老者をも子息をも息女をも挈へて往き羊をも牛をもたづさへて往くべし其は我らヱホバの祭禮をなさんとすればなり
10 And he said unto them: 'So be the LORD with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones; see ye that evil is before your face.
パロかれらにいひけるは我汝等となんぢらの子等を去しむる時はヱホバなんぢらと偕に在れ愼めよ惡き事なんぢらの面のまへにあり
11 Not so; go now ye that are men, and serve the LORD; for that is what ye desire.' And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.
そは宜からず汝ら男子のみ往てヱホバに事よ是なんぢらが求むるところなりと彼等つひにパロの前より逐いださる
12 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Stretch out thy hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.'
爰にヱホバ、モーセにいひたまひけるは汝の手をエジプトの地のうへに舒て蝗をエジプトの國にのぞませて彼の雹が打殘したる地の諸の蔬を悉く食しめよ
13 And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all the night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
モーセすなはちエジプトの地の上に其杖をのべければヱホバ東風をおこしてその一日一夜地にふかしめたまひしが東風朝におよびて蝗を吹きたりて
14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the borders of Egypt; very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.
蝗エジプト全國にのぞみエジプトの四方の境に居て害をなすこと太甚し是より先には斯のごとき蝗なかりし是より後にもあらざるべし
15 For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left; and there remained not any green thing, either tree or herb of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
蝗全國の上を蔽ひければ國暗くなりぬ而して蝗地の諸の蔬および雹の打殘せし樹の菓を食ひたればエジプト全國に於て樹にも田圃の蔬にも靑き者とてはのこらざりき
16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said: 'I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.
是をもてパロ急ぎモーセとアロンを召て言ふ 我なんちらの神ヱホバと汝等とにむかひて罪ををかせり
17 Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and entreat the LORD your God, that He may take away from me this death only.'
然ば請ふ今一次のみ吾罪を宥してなんぢらの神ヱホバに願ひ唯此死を我より取はなさしめよと
18 And he went out from Pharaoh, and entreated the LORD.
彼すなはちパロの所より出てヱホバにねがひければ
19 And the LORD turned an exceeding strong west wind, which took up the locusts, and drove them into the Red Sea; there remained not one locust in all the border of Egypt.
ヱホバはなはだ強き西風を吹めぐらせて蝗を吹はらはしめ之を紅海に驅いれたまひてエジプトの四方の境に蝗ひとつも遺らざるにいたれり
20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go.
然れどもヱホバ、パロの心を剛愎にしたまひたればイスラエルの子孫をさらしめざりき
21 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Stretch out thy hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.'
ヱホバまたモーセにいひたまひけるは天にむかひて汝の手を舒べエジプトの國に黑暗を起すべし其暗黑は摸るべきなりと
22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days;
モーセすなはち天にむかひて手を舒ければ稠密黑暗三日のあひだエジプト全國にありて
23 they saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days; but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
三日の間は人々たがひに相見るあたはず又おのれの處より起ものなかりき然どイスラエルの子孫の居處には皆光ありき
24 And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said: 'Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed; let your little ones also go with you.'
是に於てパロ、モーセを呼ていひけるは汝等ゆきてヱホバに事よ唯なんぢらの羊と牛を留めおくべし汝らの子女も亦なんぢらとともに往べし
25 And Moses said: 'Thou must also give into our hand sacrifices and burnt-offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.
モーセいひけるは汝また我等の神ヱホバに献ぐべき犠牲と燔祭の物をも我儕に與ふべきなり
26 Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not a hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.'
われらの家畜もわれらとともに往べし一蹄も後にのこすべからず其は我等その中を取てわれらの神ヱホバに事べきが故なりまたわれら彼處にいたるまでは何をもてヱホバに事ふべきかを知ざればなりと
27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.
然れどもヱホバ、パロの心を剛愎にしたまひたればパロかれらをさらしむることを肯ぜざりき
28 And Pharaoh said unto him: 'Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in the day thou seest my face thou shalt die.'
すなはちパロ、モーセに言ふ我をはなれて去よ自ら愼め重てわが面を見るなかれ汝わが面を見る日には死べし
29 And Moses said: 'Thou hast spoken well; I will see thy face again no more.'
モーセいひけるは汝の言ふところは善し我重て復なんぢの面を見ざるべし
