Luke 10
1 THEN after these things the Lord appointed other seventy persons also, and sent them, two and two before his face, into every city and place, whither he himself designed to go.
१और इन बातों के बाद प्रभु ने सत्तर और मनुष्य नियुक्त किए और जिस-जिस नगर और जगह को वह आप जाने पर था, वहाँ उन्हें दो-दो करके अपने आगे भेजा।
2 He said therefore unto them, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers few: pray ye therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he would send out labourers into his harvest.
२और उसने उनसे कहा, “पके खेत बहुत हैं; परन्तु मजदूर थोड़े हैं इसलिए खेत के स्वामी से विनती करो, कि वह अपने खेत काटने को मजदूर भेज दे।
3 Go forth! behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.
३जाओ; देखों मैं तुम्हें भेड़ों के समान भेड़ियों के बीच में भेजता हूँ।
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor sandals: and stay to salute no man on the road.
४इसलिए न बटुआ, न झोली, न जूते लो; और न मार्ग में किसी को नमस्कार करो।
5 And into whatever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
५जिस किसी घर में जाओ, पहले कहो, ‘इस घर पर कल्याण हो।’
6 And if the Son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it; but if not, it shall return back to you again.
६यदि वहाँ कोई कल्याण के योग्य होगा; तो तुम्हारा कल्याण उस पर ठहरेगा, नहीं तो तुम्हारे पास लौट आएगा।
7 And in the same family abide, eating and drinking such as they have: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not about from house to house.
७उसी घर में रहो, और जो कुछ उनसे मिले, वही खाओ-पीओ, क्योंकि मजदूर को अपनी मजदूरी मिलनी चाहिए; घर-घर न फिरना।
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they welcome you, eat whatever is set before you:
८और जिस नगर में जाओ, और वहाँ के लोग तुम्हें उतारें, तो जो कुछ तुम्हारे सामने रखा जाए वही खाओ।
9 and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
९वहाँ के बीमारों को चंगा करो: और उनसे कहो, ‘परमेश्वर का राज्य तुम्हारे निकट आ पहुँचा है।’
10 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets of it, and say,
१०परन्तु जिस नगर में जाओ, और वहाँ के लोग तुम्हें ग्रहण न करें, तो उसके बाजारों में जाकर कहो,
11 Even the dust of your city, which sticks to us, we shake off against you: nevertheless this know, that the kingdom of God is come near to you.
११‘तुम्हारे नगर की धूल भी, जो हमारे पाँवों में लगी है, हम तुम्हारे सामने झाड़ देते हैं, फिर भी यह जान लो, कि परमेश्वर का राज्य तुम्हारे निकट आ पहुँचा है।’
12 Now I tell you, that it shall be more tolerable for Sodom in that day, than for that city.
१२मैं तुम से कहता हूँ, कि उस दिन उस नगर की दशा से सदोम की दशा अधिक सहने योग्य होगी।
13 Wo to thee Chorazin! wo to thee Bethsaida! for if the miracles which have been done in thee, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, long ago sitting in sackcloth and ashes, would they have repented.
१३“हाय खुराजीन! हाय बैतसैदा! जो सामर्थ्य के काम तुम में किए गए, यदि वे सोर और सीदोन में किए जाते, तो टाट ओढ़कर और राख में बैठकर वे कब के मन फिराते।
14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
१४परन्तु न्याय के दिन तुम्हारी दशा से सोर और सीदोन की दशा अधिक सहने योग्य होगी।
१५और हे कफरनहूम, क्या तू स्वर्ग तक ऊँचा किया जाएगा? तू तो अधोलोक तक नीचे जाएगा। (Hadēs g86)
16 He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth me; and he that despiseth me, despiseth Him that sent me.
१६“जो तुम्हारी सुनता है, वह मेरी सुनता है, और जो तुम्हें तुच्छ जानता है, वह मुझे तुच्छ जानता है; और जो मुझे तुच्छ जानता है, वह मेरे भेजनेवाले को तुच्छ जानता है।”
17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject to us through thy name.
१७वे सत्तर आनन्द से फिर आकर कहने लगे, “हे प्रभु, तेरे नाम से दुष्टात्मा भी हमारे वश में है।”
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan falling as lightning from heaven.
१८उसने उनसे कहा, “मैं शैतान को बिजली के समान स्वर्ग से गिरा हुआ देख रहा था।
19 Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shalt in any wise hurt you.
१९मैंने तुम्हें साँपों और बिच्छुओं को रौंदनेका, और शत्रु की सारी सामर्थ्य पर अधिकार दिया है; और किसी वस्तु से तुम्हें कुछ हानि न होगी।
20 Nevertheless, in this rejoice not, that the spirits are made subject to you; but rejoice rather, that your names are inscribed in the heavens.
२०तो भी इससे आनन्दित मत हो, कि आत्मा तुम्हारे वश में हैं, परन्तु इससे आनन्दित हो कि तुम्हारे नाम स्वर्ग पर लिखे हैं।”
21 In the same hour Jesus exulted in spirit, and said, I ascribe glory to thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and intelligent, and hast revealed them to babes: be it so, O Father! since such is thy good pleasure.
२१उसी घड़ी वह पवित्र आत्मा में होकर आनन्द से भर गया, और कहा, “हे पिता, स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी के प्रभु, मैं तेरा धन्यवाद करता हूँ, कि तूने इन बातों को ज्ञानियों और समझदारों से छिपा रखा, और बालकों पर प्रगट किया, हाँ, हे पिता, क्योंकि तुझे यही अच्छा लगा।
22 All things are given up to me by my Father: and no man knoweth who is the Son, but the Father; and who is the Father, but the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son is pleased to reveal him.
२२मेरे पिता ने मुझे सब कुछ सौंप दिया है; और कोई नहीं जानता कि पुत्र कौन है, केवल पिता और पिता कौन है यह भी कोई नहीं जानता, केवल पुत्र के और वह जिस पर पुत्र उसे प्रकट करना चाहे।”
23 Then turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things which ye see:
२३और चेलों की ओर मुड़कर अकेले में कहा, “धन्य हैं वे आँखें, जो ये बातें जो तुम देखते हो देखती हैं,
24 for I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see the things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear the things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
२४क्योंकि मैं तुम से कहता हूँ, कि बहुत से भविष्यद्वक्ताओं और राजाओं ने चाहा, कि जो बातें तुम देखते हो देखें; पर न देखीं और जो बातें तुम सुनते हो सुनें, पर न सुनीं।”
25 And, behold, a certain doctor of the law arose, to make trial of him, saying, Master, by doing what shall I inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
२५तब एक व्यवस्थापक उठा; और यह कहकर, उसकी परीक्षा करने लगा, “हे गुरु, अनन्त जीवन का वारिस होने के लिये मैं क्या करूँ?” (aiōnios g166)
26 And he said unto him, What is written in the law? How readest thou?
२६उसने उससे कहा, “व्यवस्था में क्या लिखा है? तू कैसे पढ़ता है?”
27 And he answering said, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, and with all thy understanding, and thy neighbour as thyself.”
२७उसने उत्तर दिया, “तू प्रभु अपने परमेश्वर से अपने सारे मन और अपने सारे प्राण और अपनी सारी शक्ति और अपनी सारी बुद्धि के साथ प्रेम रख; और अपने पड़ोसी से अपने जैसा प्रेम रख।”
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered rightly: this do, and thou shalt live.
२८उसने उससे कहा, “तूने ठीक उत्तर दिया, यही कर तो तू जीवित रहेगा।”
29 Then he, desirous to make himself appear a righteous person, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
२९परन्तु उसने अपने आपको धर्मी ठहराने की इच्छा से यीशु से पूछा, “तो मेरा पड़ोसी कौन है?”
30 Then Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, who, when they had both stripped him, and covered him with wounds, got off, leaving him half dead.
३०यीशु ने उत्तर दिया “एक मनुष्य यरूशलेम से यरीहो को जा रहा था, कि डाकुओं ने घेरकर उसके कपड़े उतार लिए, और मारपीट कर उसे अधमरा छोड़कर चले गए।
31 And it so fell out, that a certain priest went down that way, and seeing him, he kept the opposite side of the road.
३१और ऐसा हुआ कि उसी मार्ग से एक याजक जा रहा था, परन्तु उसे देखकर कतराकर चला गया।
32 And a Levite also, in the same way, being near the place, came, and seeing him, kept the opposite side of the road.
३२इसी रीति से एक लेवीउस जगह पर आया, वह भी उसे देखकर कतराकर चला गया।
33 But a certain Samaritan travelling, came by him, and seeing him, was moved with compassion,
३३परन्तु एक सामरीयात्री वहाँ आ निकला, और उसे देखकर तरस खाया।
34 and coming up to him, bound up his wounds, after pouring on them oil and wine; then setting him on his own beast, he led him to an inn, and took particular care of him.
३४और उसके पास आकर और उसके घावों पर तेल और दाखरस डालकरपट्टियाँ बाँधी, और अपनी सवारी पर चढ़ाकर सराय में ले गया, और उसकी सेवा टहल की।
35 And on the morrow, as he was departing, he took out of his purse two denarii, and gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, Take great care of him; and whatever farther expence may be incurred, when I return, I will repay thee.
३५दूसरे दिन उसने दो दीनार निकालकर सराय के मालिक को दिए, और कहा, ‘इसकी सेवा टहल करना, और जो कुछ तेरा और लगेगा, वह मैं लौटने पर तुझे दे दूँगा।’
36 Which then of these three do you suppose to be the neighbour of him who fell into the robbers’ hands?
३६अब तेरी समझ में जो डाकुओं में घिर गया था, इन तीनों में से उसका पड़ोसी कौन ठहरा?”
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy towards him. Then said Jesus to him, Go, and do thou exactly the same.
३७उसने कहा, “वही जिसने उस पर तरस खाया।” यीशु ने उससे कहा, “जा, तू भी ऐसा ही कर।”
38 And it came to pass, as they were travelling, that he entered into a certain village; and a woman, named Martha, received him into her house.
३८फिर जब वे जा रहे थे, तो वह एक गाँव में गया, और मार्था नाम एक स्त्री ने उसे अपने घर में स्वागत किया।
39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sitting down also at the feet of Jesus, hearkened to his discourse.
३९और मरियम नामक उसकी एक बहन थी; वह प्रभु के पाँवों के पास बैठकर उसका वचन सुनती थी।
40 But Martha was hurrying about to provide a large entertainment, and coming up to him, she said, Lord, is it no concern to thee, that my sister hath left me to make the whole provision by myself? bid her therefore to assist me.
४०परन्तु मार्था सेवा करते-करते घबरा गई और उसके पास आकर कहने लगी, “हे प्रभु, क्या तुझे कुछ भी चिन्ता नहीं कि मेरी बहन ने मुझे सेवा करने के लिये अकेली ही छोड़ दिया है? इसलिए उससे कह, मेरी सहायता करे।”
41 But Jesus answering said to her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and disturbing thyself about many things.
४१प्रभु ने उसे उत्तर दिया, “मार्था, हे मार्था; तू बहुत बातों के लिये चिन्ता करती और घबराती है।
42 But of one thing there is need: and Mary hath made her election of that good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.
४२परन्तु एक बात अवश्य है, और उस उत्तम भाग को मरियम ने चुन लिया है: जो उससे छीना न जाएगा।”
