Zechariah 5

1 Then I turned me, and lifted vp mine eyes and looked, and beholde, a flying booke.

Y me torné, y alcé mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí un rollo que volaba.

2 And he said vnto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying booke: the length thereof is twentie cubites, and the breadth thereof tenne cubites.

Y me dijo: ¿Qué ves? Y respondí: Veo un rollo que vuela, de veinte codos de largo, y diez codos de ancho.

3 Then said he vnto me, This is the curse that goeth foorth ouer the whole earth: for euery one that stealeth, shalbe cut off aswell on this side, as on that: and euery one that sweareth, shall be cut off aswell on this side, as on that.

Me dijo entonces: Esta es la maldición que sale sobre la faz de toda la tierra; porque todo aquel que hurta, (como está de un lado del rollo ) será destruido; y todo aquel que jura, (como está del otro lado del rollo ) será destruido.

4 I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thiefe, and into the house of him, that falsely sweareth by my Name: and it shall remaine in the middes of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and stones thereof.

Yo la saqué, dijo el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, y vendrá a la casa del ladrón, y a la casa del que jura falsamente en mi nombre; y permanecerá en medio de su casa, y la consumirá, con sus enmaderamientos y sus piedras.

5 Then the Angel that talked with me, went foorth, and said vnto me, Lift vp now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth foorth.

Y salió aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo, y me dijo: Alza ahora tus ojos, y mira qué es esto que sale.

6 And I saide, What is it? And hee sayde, This is an Ephah that goeth foorth. Hee saide moreouer, This is the sight of them through all the earth.

Y dije: ¿Qué es? Y él dijo: Esta es un efa de medir trigo que sale. Además dijo: Este es la iniquidad de ellos en toda la tierra.

7 And beholde, there was lift vp a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the middes of the Ephah.

Y he aquí, levantaron un talento de plomo, y una mujer estaba sentada en medio de aquel efa.

8 And he said, This is wickednes, and he cast it into the middes of the Ephah, and hee cast the weight of lead vpon the mouth thereof.

Y él dijo: Esta es la maldad; y la echó dentro del efa, y echó la masa de plomo en su boca.

9 Then lift I vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came out two women, and the winde was in their wings (for they had wings like the wings of a storke) and they lift vp the Ephah betweene the earth and the heauen.

Alcé luego mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí dos mujeres que salían, y traían viento en sus alas, y tenían alas como de cigüeña, y alzaron el efa entre la tierra y los cielos.

10 Then saide I to the Angel that talked with me, Whither doe these beare the Ephah?

Y dije a aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿A dónde llevan éstas el efa?

11 And hee saide vnto mee, To builde it an house in the lande of Shinar, and it shall be established and set there vpon her owne place.

Y él me respondió: Para que le sea edificada casa en tierra de Sinar; y será asentado y puesto allá sobre su asiento.
