Zechariah 12
1 The burden of the worde of the Lord vpon Israel, sayth the Lord, which spred the heauens, and layed the foundation of the earth, and formed the spirite of man within him.
La parole de l'Éternel prononcée sur Israël: Ainsi a dit l'Éternel, qui a étendu les cieux, qui a fondé la terre, et qui a formé l'esprit de l'homme au-dedans de lui:
2 Beholde, I will make Ierusalem a cuppe of poyson vnto all the people round about: and also with Iudah will he be, in ye siege against Ierusalem.
Voici, je ferai de Jérusalem une coupe d'étourdissement pour tous les peuples d'alentour; et ce sera aussi contre Juda, dans le siège de Jérusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Ierusalem an heauie stone for all people: all that lift it vp, shall be torne, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
En ce jour-là, je ferai de Jérusalem une pierre pesante pour tous les peuples; tous ceux qui en porteront le poids, seront meurtris, et toutes les nations de la terre s'assembleront contre elle.
4 In that day, sayeth the Lord, I will smite euery horse with astonishment, and his rider with madnesse, and I will open mine eyes vpon the house of Iudah, and will smite euery horse of the people with blindnesse.
En ce jour-là, dit l'Éternel, je frapperai d'étourdissement tous les chevaux, et leurs cavaliers, de vertige; j'aurai les yeux ouverts sur la maison de Juda, et je frapperai d'aveuglement tous les chevaux des peuples.
5 And the princes of Iudah shall say in their hearts, The inhabitants of Ierusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hostes their God.
Et les chefs de Juda diront dans leur cœur: Les habitants de Jérusalem sont notre force, par l'Éternel des armées, leur Dieu.
6 In that day will I make the princes of Iudah like coles of fire among the wood, and like a fire brand in the sheafe, and they shall deuoure all the people round about on the right hand, and on the left: and Ierusalem shall be inhabited againe in her owne place, euen in Ierusalem.
En ce jour-là, je ferai des chefs de Juda comme un brasier parmi du bois, comme une torche enflammée parmi des gerbes; ils dévoreront à droite et à gauche tous les peuples d'alentour, et Jérusalem demeurera assise à sa place, à Jérusalem.
7 The Lord also shall preserue the tents of Iudah, as afore time: therefore the glorie of the house of Dauid shall not boast, nor the glorie of the inhabitants of Ierusalem against Iudah.
Et l'Éternel sauvera premièrement les tentes de Juda, afin que la gloire de la maison de David et la gloire des habitants de Jérusalem ne s'élève pas au-dessus de Juda.
8 In that day shall the Lord defende the inhabitants of Ierusalem, and he that is feeble among them, in that day shall be as Dauid: and the house of Dauid shall be as Gods house, and as the Angel of the Lord before them.
En ce jour-là, l'Éternel protégera les habitants de Jérusalem; et le faible parmi eux sera, en ce jour-là, comme David, et la maison de David sera comme Dieu, comme l'ange de l'Éternel devant eux.
9 And in that day will I seeke to destroy all the nations that come against Ierusalem.
Et il arrivera, en ce jour-là, que je chercherai à détruire toutes les nations qui viendront contre Jérusalem.
10 And I will powre vpon the house of Dauid, and vpon the inhabitants of Ierusalem the Spirite of grace and of compassion, and they shall looke vpon me, whom they haue pearced, and they shall lament for him, as one mourneth for his onely sonne, and be sorie for him as one is sorie for his first borne.
Et je répandrai sur la maison de David, et sur les habitants de Jérusalem, l'Esprit de grâce et de supplications: ils regarderont vers moi, celui qu'ils ont percé; ils en feront le deuil comme on fait le deuil d'un fils unique, et ils pleureront amèrement sur lui, comme on pleure sur un premier-né.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Ierusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
En ce jour-là, le deuil sera grand à Jérusalem, tel que fut le deuil d'Hadadrimmon dans la vallée de Méguiddon.
12 And the land shall bewayle euery familie apart, the familie of the house of Dauid apart, and their wiues apart: the familie of the house of Nathan apart, and their wiues apart:
Et le pays sera dans le deuil, chaque famille séparément; la famille de la maison de David à part, et leurs femmes à part; la famille de la maison de Nathan à part, et leurs femmes à part;
13 The familie of the house of Leui apart, and their wiues apart: the familie of Shemei apart, and their wiues apart:
La famille de la maison de Lévi à part, et leurs femmes à part; la famille des Shiméites à part, et leurs femmes à part;
14 All the families that remaine, euery familie apart, and their wiues apart.
Toutes les autres familles, chaque famille à part, et leurs femmes à part.
