Revelation 1
1 The Reuelation of Iesus Christ, which God gaue vnto him, to shewe vnto his seruants things which must shortly be done: which he sent, and shewed by his Angel vnto his seruant Iohn,
૧ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તનું પ્રકટીકરણ, એટલે જે બનાવો ટૂંક સમયમાં બનવાના છે તે પોતાના દાસોને કહી બતાવવા સારુ ઈશ્વરે તેમના પુત્ર ઈસુને તે આપ્યું. અને તેમણે પોતાનો સ્વર્ગદૂત મોકલીને તે પોતાના દાસ યોહાનને બતાવ્યું.
2 Who bare record of ye word of God, and of the testimonie of Iesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
૨યોહાને ઈશ્વરનાં વચન તથા ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તની સાક્ષી વિષે જેટલું પોતે જોયું તેની માહિતી આપી.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that heare the wordes of this prophecie, and keepe those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
૩ભવિષ્યમાં બનવાની બિનાઓ જેઓ વાંચે છે, આ ભવિષ્યવાણીનું વચન જેઓ સાંભળે છે અને એમાં જે લખેલું છે તે પાળે છે, તેઓ આશીર્વાદિત છે, કેમ કે સમય પાસે છે.
4 Iohn, to the seuen Churches which are in Asia, Grace be with you, and peace from him, Which is, and Which was, and Which is to come, and from the seuen Spirits which are before his Throne,
૪જે સાત મંડળીના વિશ્વાસી સમુદાય આસિયામાં છે તેઓને યોહાન લખે છે. જે છે અને જે હતા અને જે આવનાર છે તેમનાંથી, તથા તેમના સિંહાસન આગળ જે સાત આત્મા છે તેઓના તરફથી,
5 And from Iesus Christ, which is that faithful witnes, and that first begotten of the dead, and that Prince of the Kings of the earth, vnto him that loued vs, and washed vs from our sinnes in his blood,
૫તથા ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત જે વિશ્વાસુ સાક્ષી, અને મરણ પામેલાંમાંથી પ્રથમ ઊઠેલ અને દુનિયાના રાજાઓના અધિકારી છે તેમનાંથી, તમારા પર કૃપા તથા શાંતિ હો. જેમણે આપણા પર પ્રેમ કર્યો, અને પોતાના રક્ત વડે આપણને આપણાં પાપથી બચાવ્યા;
6 And made vs Kings and Priests vnto God euen his Father, to him I say be glory, and dominion for euermore, Amen. (aiōn g165)
૬અને ઈશ્વર પિતાને માટે આપણને રાજ્ય તથા યાજકો બનાવ્યા, તેમનો મહિમા તથા અધિકાર સદાસર્વકાળ સુધી હો; આમીન. (aiōn g165)
7 Beholde, he commeth with cloudes, and euery eye shall see him: yea, euen they which pearced him thorowe: and all kinreds of the earth shall waile before him, Euen so, Amen.
૭જુઓ, તે વાદળાંમાં આવે છે અને દરેક આંખ, અને જેઓએ તેમને વીંધ્યા તેઓ પણ તેમને જોશે; અને પૃથ્વી પરનાં સઘળાં કુળો તેમને લીધે વિલાપ કરશે; હા, આમીન.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, Which is, and Which was, and Which is to come, euen the Almightie.
૮પ્રભુ ઈશ્વર જે છે, જે હતા અને જે આવનાર છે, જે સર્વસમર્થ છે, તે એમ કહે છે કે, ‘હું આલ્ફા તથા ઓમેગા છું.’”
9 I Iohn, euen your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdome and patience of Iesus Christ, was in the yle called Patmos, for the worde of God, and for the witnessing of Iesus Christ.
૯હું યોહાન તમારો ભાઈ, અને વિપત્તિમાં તથા ઈસુના રાજ્ય તથા ધીરજમાં તમારા સહભાગી, ઈશ્વરનાં વચનને લીધે તથા ઈસુની સાક્ષીને લીધે, પાત્મસ ટાપુ પર હતો.
10 And I was rauished in spirit on the Lordes day, and heard behinde me a great voyce, as it had bene of a trumpet,
૧૦પ્રભુના દિવસે હું આત્મામાં હતો, ત્યારે મેં મારી પાછળ રણશિંગડાના અવાજ જેવી મોટી વાણી એમ કહેતી સાંભળી કે,
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, that first and that last: and that which thou seest, write in a booke, and send it vnto the seuen Churches which are in Asia, vnto Ephesus, and vnto Smyrna, and vnto Pergamus, and vnto Thyatira, and vnto Sardis, and vnto Philadelphia, and vnto Laodicea.
૧૧‘તું જે જુએ છે તે પુસ્તકમાં લખ, અને એફેસસમાં, સ્મર્નામાં, પેર્ગામનમાં, થુઆતૈરામાં, સાર્દિસમાં, ફિલાડેલ્ફિયામાં તથા લાઓદિકિયામાં જે સાત મંડળી છે તેઓને મોકલ.’”
12 Then I turned backe to see the voyce, that spake with me: and when I was turned, I sawe seuen golden candlestickes,
૧૨જે વાણીએ મારી સાથે વાત કરી, તેને જોવા હું ફર્યો; ત્યારે મેં સોનાની સાત દીવીને જોઈ.
13 And in the middes of the seuen candlestickes, one like vnto the Sonne of man, clothed with a garment downe to the feete, and girded about the pappes with a golden girdle.
૧૩તે દીવીઓની વચમાં મનુષ્યપુત્ર જેવા એકને મેં જોયા, તેમણે પગની નીચે સુધી પહોંચે એવો ઝભ્ભો પહેરેલો હતો અને તેમની છાતી પર સોનાનો પટ્ટો બાંધેલો હતો.
14 His head, and heares were white as white wooll, and as snowe, and his eyes were as a flame of fire,
૧૪તેમનું માથું તથા વાળ સફેદ ઊન અને બરફની માફક શ્વેત હતાં; અને તેમની આંખો અગ્નિની જ્વાળા જેવી હતી.
15 And his feete like vnto fine brasse, burning as in a fornace: and his voyce as the sounde of many waters.
૧૫તેમના પગ જાણે ભઠ્ઠીમાં શુદ્ધ થયેલા ચળકતા પિત્તળના જેવા હતા; અને તેમનો અવાજ ઘણાં પાણીનાં મોજાંના જેવો ગર્જતો હતો.
16 And he had in his right hand seuen starres: and out of his mouth went a sharpe two edged sword: and his face shone as the sunne shineth in his strength.
૧૬તેમના જમણાં હાથમાં સાત તારા હતા; અને તેમના મુખમાંથી બેધારી તીક્ષ્ણ તલવાર નીકળતી હતી. તેમનો ચહેરો પૂર્ણ તેજથી પ્રકાશતા સૂર્ય સમાન હતો.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feete as dead: then he laid his right hand vpon me, saying vnto me, Feare not: I am that first and that last,
૧૭જયારે મેં તેમને જોયા ત્યારે મૂએલા જેવો થઈને હું તેમના પગ પાસે પડી ગયો. ત્યારે તેમણે પોતાનો જમણો હાથ મારા પર મૂકીને કહ્યું કે, ‘બીશ નહિ, પ્રથમ તથા છેલ્લો હું છું;
19 Write the things which thou hast seene, and the things which are, and the things which shall come hereafter.
૧૯તેં જે જોયું છે અને જે થયું છે, અને હવે પછી જે જે થશે, તે સઘળું લખ.
20 The misterie of the seuen starres which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seuen golden candlestickes, is this, The seuen starres are the Angels of the seuen Churches: and the seuen candlestickes which thou sawest, are the seuen Churches.
૨૦મારા જમણાં હાથમાં જે સાત તારા તથા સોનાની સાત દીવી તેં જોયાં, એમનો ખુલાસો તું લખ. સાત તારા તો સાત મંડળીના સ્વર્ગદૂત છે, અને સાત દીવી તો સાત મંડળી છે.
