Psalms 97

1 The Lord reigneth: let the earth reioyce: let the multitude of the yles be glad.

‌ʻOku pule ʻa Sihova; tuku ke fiefia ʻa māmani; pea nekeneka ʻae ngaahi ʻotu motu.

2 Cloudes and darkenes are round about him: righteousnesse and iudgement are the foundation of his throne.

‌ʻOku takatakai ia ʻe he ngaahi ʻao mo e fakapoʻuli: ko e angatonu mo e fakamaau ko e tuʻunga ia ʻo hono ʻafioʻanga.

3 There shall goe a fire before him, and burne vp his enemies round about.

‌ʻOku muʻomuʻa ʻae afi ʻiate ia, pea vela ke ʻosi hono ngaahi fili ʻoku takatakai.

4 His lightnings gaue light vnto the worlde: the earth sawe it and was afraide.

Naʻe fakamaama ʻaki ʻa māmani ʻa hono ngaahi ʻuhila: naʻe mamata ʻae fonua, pea tetetete.

5 The mountaines melted like waxe at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Naʻe vela ʻo vai ʻae ngaahi moʻunga ʻo hangē ko e pulu ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova, ʻi he ʻao ʻoe ʻEiki ʻo māmani kotoa pē.

6 The heauens declare his righteousnes, and all the people see his glory.

‌ʻOku fakahā ʻe he ngaahi langi ʻene māʻoniʻoni, pea mamata ʻae kakai kotoa pē ki hono nāunau.

7 Confounded be all they that serue grauen images, and that glory in idoles: worship him all ye gods.

Ke puputuʻu ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku nau tauhi ʻae ngaahi fakatātā kuo tā, mo nau polepole ʻi he ngaahi tamapua: lotu kiate ia, ʻakimoutolu kotoa pē ʻae ngaahi ʻotua.

8 Zion heard of it, and was glad: and the daughters of Iudah reioyced, because of thy iudgements, O Lord.

Naʻe fanongo ʻa Saione, pea fiefia ai pea naʻe fiefia ʻae ngaahi ʻofefine ʻo Siuta, koeʻuhi ko hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau, ʻE Sihova.

9 For thou, Lord, art most High aboue all the earth: thou art much exalted aboue all gods.

He ko koe, ʻE Sihova, ʻoku ke māʻolunga hake ki māmani kotoa pē: ʻoku ke māʻolunga lahi ʻaupito ʻi he ngaahi ʻotua kotoa pē.

10 Ye that loue the Lord, hate euill: he preserueth the soules of his Saints: hee will deliuer them from the hand of the wicked.

‌ʻAkimoutolu ʻoku ʻofa kia Sihova, mou fehiʻa ki he kovi: ʻoku fakamoʻui ʻe ia ʻae laumālie ʻo ʻene kakai māʻoniʻoni; ʻoku ne fakamoʻui ʻakinautolu mei he nima ʻoe kau angahala.

11 Light is sowen for the righteous, and ioy for the vpright in heart.

Kuo tūtuuʻi ʻae maama maʻae māʻoniʻoni, mo e fiefia maʻae angatonu ʻi loto.

12 Reioyce ye righteous in the Lord, and giue thankes for his holy remembrance.

Mou fiefia ʻia Sihova ʻae kau angatonu; pea fakafetaʻi ʻi he manatu ki heʻene māʻoniʻoni.
