Psalms 96

1 Sing vnto the Lord a newe song: sing vnto the Lord, all the earth.

Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied; singet dem HERRN, alle Welt!

2 Sing vnto the Lord, and prayse his Name: declare his saluation from day to day.

Singet dem HERRN und lobet seinen Namen; prediget einen Tag am andern sein Heil!

3 Declare his glory among all nations, and his wonders among all people.

Erzählet unter den Heiden seine Ehre, unter allen Völkern seine Wunder!

4 For the Lord is great and much to be praysed: he is to be feared aboue all gods.

Denn der HERR ist groß und hoch zu loben, wunderbarlich über alle Götter.

5 For all the gods of the people are idoles: but the Lord made the heauens.

Denn alle Götter der Völker sind Götzen; aber der HERR hat den Himmel gemacht.

6 Strength and glory are before him: power and beautie are in his Sanctuarie.

Es stehet herrlich und prächtig vor ihm und gehet gewaltiglich und löblich zu in seinem Heiligtum.

7 Giue vnto the Lord, ye families of the people: giue vnto the Lord glory and power.

Ihr Völker, bringet her dem HERRN, bringet her dem HERRN Ehre und Macht!

8 Giue vnto the Lord the glory of his Name: bring an offering, and enter into his courtes.

Bringet her dem HERRN die Ehre seinem Namen; bringet Geschenke und kommt in seine Vorhöfe!

9 Worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie: tremble before him all the earth.

Betet an den HERRN in heiligem Schmuck; es fürchte ihn alle Welt!

10 Say among the nations, The Lord reigneth: surely the world shalbe stable, and not moue, and he shall iudge the people in righteousnesse.

Sagt unter den Heiden, daß der HERR König sei und habe sein Reich, soweit die Welt ist, bereitet, daß es bleiben soll, und richtet die Völker recht

11 Let the heauens reioyce, and let the earth be glad: let the sea roare, and all that therein is.

Himmel freue sich, und Erde sei fröhlich; das Meer brause, und was drinnen ist;

12 Let the field be ioyfull, and all that is in it: let all the trees of the wood then reioyce

das Feld sei fröhlich und alles, was drauf ist; und lasset rühmen alle Bäume im Walde

13 Before the Lord: for he commeth, for he cometh to iudge the earth: he wil iudge the world with righteousnes, and the people in his trueth.

vor dem HERRN; denn er kommt, denn er kommt, zu richten das Erdreich. Er wird den Erdboden richten mit Gerechtigkeit und die Völker mit seiner Wahrheit.
