Psalms 92

1 A Psalme or song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing vnto thy Name, O most High,

Psalm i pieśń na dzień szabatu. Dobrą rzeczą jest wysławiać PANA i śpiewać twemu imieniu, o Najwyższy.

2 To declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night,

Głosić rankiem twoje miłosierdzie, a nocami twoją wierność;

3 Vpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.

Na instrumencie o dziesięciu strunach, na cytrze i na harfie ze śpiewaniem.

4 For thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.

Ty bowiem rozradowałeś mnie, PANIE, twymi czynami; będę śpiewać o dziełach twoich rąk.

5 O Lord, how glorious are thy workes! and thy thoughtes are very deepe.

Jakże wielkie są twoje dzieła, PANIE; bardzo głębokie są twoje myśli.

6 An vnwise man knoweth it not, and a foole doeth not vnderstand this,

Prostak nie zna, a głupi tego nie rozumie:

7 (When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.

Gdy niegodziwi wyrastają jak ziele i kwitną wszyscy czyniący nieprawość, [to tylko po to], aby byli wykorzenieni aż na wieki;

8 But thou, O Lord, art most High for euermore.

Ty zaś, PANIE, jesteś Najwyższy na wieki.

9 For loe, thine enemies, O Lord: for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquitie shall be destroyed.

Oto bowiem twoi wrogowie, PANIE, oto bowiem twoi wrogowie zginą, rozproszą się wszyscy czyniący nieprawość.

10 But thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.

Ale mój róg wzniesiesz jak u jednorożca, będę namaszczony świeżym olejem.

11 Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.

I moje oko zobaczy [nieszczęście] tych, którzy na mnie czyhają; moje uszy usłyszą o [klęsce] złoczyńców, którzy powstają przeciwko mnie.

12 The righteous shall flourish like a palme tree, and shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon.

Sprawiedliwy zakwitnie jak palma, rozrośnie się jak cedr na Libanie.

13 Such as bee planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courtes of our God.

Zasadzeni w domu PANA rozkwitną na dziedzińcach naszego Boga.

14 They shall still bring foorth fruite in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing,

Nawet w starości wydadzą owoc, pełni sił i kwitnący;

15 To declare that the Lord my rocke is righteous, and that none iniquitie is in him.

Aby opowiadać, że PAN jest prawy; [on jest] moją skałą i nie ma w nim żadnej nieprawości.
