Psalms 79
1 A Psalme committed to Asaph. O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance: thine holy Temple haue they defiled, and made Ierusalem heapes of stones.
Psalmo de Asaf. Ho Dio! venis idolanoj en Vian heredon, Malpurigis Vian sanktan templon, Faris el Jerusalem ruinojn.
2 The dead bodies of thy seruats haue they giuen to be meat vnto foules of ye heauen: and the flesh of thy Saintes vnto the beastes of the earth.
La kadavrojn de Viaj sklavoj ili donis kiel manĝon al la birdoj de la ĉielo, La karnon de Viaj fideluloj al la bestoj de la tero;
3 Their blood haue they shead like waters rounde about Ierusalem, and there was none to burie them.
Ili verŝis ilian sangon kiel akvon, ĉirkaŭ Jerusalem, Kaj estis neniu, kiu ilin enterigus.
4 Wee are a reproche to our neighbours, euen a scorne and derision vnto them that are round about vs.
Ni fariĝis hontindaĵo por niaj najbaroj, Mokataĵo kaj insultataĵo por niaj ĉirkaŭantoj.
5 Lord, howe long wilt thou be angrie, for euer? shall thy gelousie burne like fire?
Ĝis kiam, ho Eternulo, Vi koleros senĉese? Kaj Via indigno brulos, kiel fajro?
6 Powre out thy wrath vpon the heathen that haue not knowen thee, and vpon the kingdomes that haue not called vpon thy Name.
Elverŝu Vian koleron sur tiujn naciojn, kiuj Vin ne konas, Kaj sur la regnojn, kiuj ne vokas Vian nomon;
7 For they haue deuoured Iaakob and made his dwelling place desolate.
Ĉar ili formanĝis Jakobon Kaj dezertigis lian loĝejon.
8 Remember not against vs the former iniquities, but make haste and let thy tender mercies preuent vs: for we are in great miserie.
Ne memoru niajn antaŭajn krimojn, Rapide atingu nin Via favorkoreco; Ĉar ni tre konsumiĝis.
9 Helpe vs, O God of our saluation, for the glorie of thy Name, and deliuer vs, and be mercifull vnto our sinnes for thy Names sake.
Helpu nin, ho Dio de nia savo, pro la gloro de Via nomo; Kaj savu nin kaj pardonu al ni niajn pekojn pro Via nomo.
10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be knowen among the heathen in our sight by the vengeance of the blood of thy seruants that is shed.
Kial devas diri la popoloj: Kie estas ilia Dio? Fariĝu konata inter la popoloj antaŭ niaj okuloj La venĝo por la verŝita sango de Viaj sklavoj.
11 Let the sighing of the prisoners come before thee: according to thy mightie arme preserue the children of death,
Venu al Vi la ĝemoj de la malliberuloj; Per la grandeco de Via brako liberigu tiujn, kiuj estas kondamnitaj al morto;
12 And render to our neighbours seuen folde into their bosome their reproche, wherewith they haue reproched thee, O Lord.
Kaj redonu al niaj najbaroj sepoble en ilian sinon la malhonoron, Per kiu ili malhonoris Vin, ho mia Sinjoro!
13 So wee thy people, and sheepe of thy pasture shall praise thee for euer: and from generation to generation we will set foorth thy praise.
Kaj ni, Via popolo kaj la ŝafoj de Via paŝtataro, Eterne Vin dankos, De generacio al generacio ni rakontos Vian gloron.
