Psalms 60
1 To him that excelleth upon Shushan Eduth, or Michtam. A Psalme of David to teach. When he fought against Aram Naharaim, and against Aram Zobah, when Joab returned and slew twelve thousand Edomites in the salt valley. O God, thou hast cast vs out, thou hast scattered vs, thou hast bene angry, turne againe vnto vs.
Ðức Chúa Trời ôi! Chúa đã bỏ chúng tôi, tản lạc chúng tôi; Chúa đã nổi giận: ôi! xin hãy đem chúng tôi lại.
2 Thou hast made the land to tremble, and hast made it to gape: heale the breaches thereof, for it is shaken.
Chúa khiến đất rúng động, làm cho nó nứt ra; Xin hãy sửa lại các nơi nứt nó, vì lay động.
3 Thou hast shewed thy people heauy things: thou hast made vs to drinke the wine of giddines.
Chúa đã làm cho dân sự Ngài thấy sự gian nan, Cho chúng tôi uống một thứ rượu xây xẩm.
4 But now thou hast giuen a banner to them that feare thee, that it may be displayed because of thy trueth. (Selah)
Chúa đã ban một cờ xí cho kẻ nào kính sợ Chúa, Ðặng vì lẽ thật mà xổ nó ra.
5 That thy beloued may be deliuered, helpe with thy right hand and heare me.
Hầu cho người yêu dấu của Chúa được giải thoát. Xin Chúa hãy lấy tay hữu mình mà cứu, và đáp lại chúng tôi.
6 God hath spoken in his holines: therefore I will reioyce: I shall deuide Shechem, and measure the valley of Succoth.
Ðức Chúa Trời đã phán trong sự thánh Ngài rằng: Ta sẽ hớn hở, Ta sẽ chia Si-chem và đo trũng Su-cốt.
7 Gilead shalbe mine, and Manasseh shalbe mine: Ephraim also shalbe the strength of mine head: Iudah is my lawgiuer.
Ga-la-át thuộc về ta, Ma-na-se cũng vậy; Ép-ra-im là đồn lũy của đầu ta; Giu-đa là cây phủ việt ta.
8 Moab shalbe my wash pot: ouer Edom will I cast out my shoe: Palestina shew thy selfe ioyfull for me.
Mô-áp là cái chậu nơi ta tắm rửa; Ta sáng dép ta trước Ê-đôm. Hỡi đất Phi-li-tin, hãy reo mừng vì cớ ta.
9 Who will leade me into the strong citie? who will bring me vnto Edom?
Ai sẽ đưa tôi vào thành vững bền? Ai sẽ dẫn tôi đến Ê-đôm?
10 Wilt not thou, O God, which hadest cast vs off, and didest not go forth, O God, with our armies?
Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, há chẳng phải Chúa, là Ðấng đã bỏ chúng tôi sao? Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, Chúa không còn ra trận với đạo binh chúng tôi nữa.
11 Giue vs helpe against trouble: for vaine is the helpe of man.
Xin Chúa cứu giúp chúng tôi khỏi sự gian truân; Vì sự cứu giúp của loài người là hư không.
12 Through God we shall doe valiantly: for he shall tread downe our enemies.
Nhờ Ðức Chúa Trời chúng tôi sẽ làm việc cả thể; Vì chính Ngài sẽ giày đạp các cừu địch chúng tôi.
