Psalms 51
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David, when the Prophet Nathan came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercie vpon me, O God, according to thy louing kindnes: according to the multitude of thy compassions put away mine iniquities.
೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನು ಬತ್ಷೆಬಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ನಾತಾನನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದಾಗ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಪ್ರೀತಿಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು; ಕರುಣಾನಿಧಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡು.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquitie, and clense me from my sinne.
೨ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತೊಳೆದುಬಿಡು; ನನ್ನ ದೋಷವನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸು.
3 For I know mine iniquities, and my sinne is euer before me.
೩ನಾನು ದ್ರೋಹಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದೆ.
4 Against thee, against thee onely haue I sinned, and done euill in thy sight, that thou mayest be iust when thou speakest, and pure when thou iudgest.
೪ನಿನಗೇ, ಕೇವಲ ನಿನಗೇ ತಪ್ಪುಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ತೀರ್ಪು ನಿಷ್ಕಳಂಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
5 Beholde, I was borne in iniquitie, and in sinne hath my mother conceiued me.
೫ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಾನು ಪಾಪಿಯೇ; ಮಾತೃಗರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ದಿನದಿಂದ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯೇ.
6 Beholde, thou louest trueth in the inwarde affections: therefore hast thou taught mee wisedome in the secret of mine heart.
೬ಯಥಾರ್ಥಚಿತ್ತವೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷ; ಸುಜ್ಞಾನದ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸು.
7 Purge me with hyssope, and I shalbe cleane: wash me, and I shalbe whiter then snowe.
೭ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪ್ ಗಿಡದ ಬರಲಿನಿಂದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಚಿಮಕಿಸಿಯೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಶುದ್ಧತ್ವವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡು, ಆಗ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವೆನು; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊಳೆ, ಆಗ ಹಿಮಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗುವೆನು.
8 Make me to heare ioye and gladnes, that the bones, which thou hast broken, may reioyce.
೮ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮೋತ್ಸವದ ಧ್ವನಿ ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು; ಆಗ ನೀನು ಜಜ್ಜಿದ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಆನಂದಪಡುವವು.
9 Hide thy face from my sinnes, and put away all mine iniquities.
೯ನನ್ನ ದೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗು; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡು.
10 Create in mee a cleane heart, O God, and renue a right spirit within me.
೧೦ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸು; ನನಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೂತನಪಡಿಸು.
11 Cast mee not away from thy presence, and take not thine holy Spirit from me.
೧೧ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡ.
12 Restore to me the ioy of thy saluation, and stablish me with thy free Spirit.
೧೨ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣಾನಂದವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪುನಃ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು; ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಆಧಾರನಾಗು.
13 Then shall I teache thy wayes vnto the wicked, and sinners shalbe conuerted vnto thee.
೧೩ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವೆನು; ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
14 Deliuer me from blood, O God, which art the God of my saluation, and my tongue shall sing ioyfully of thy righteousnes.
೧೪ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಪ್ರಾಣಹತ್ಯದ ಅಪರಾಧದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು; ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದು.
15 Open thou my lippes, O Lord, and my mouth shall shewe foorth thy praise.
೧೫ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಮಾಡು.
16 For thou desirest no sacrifice, though I would giue it: thou delitest not in burnt offering.
೧೬ನಿನಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದ್ದರೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು; ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಿಲ್ಲ.
17 The sacrifices of God are a contrite spirit: a contrite and a broken heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
೧೭ಕುಗ್ಗಿದ ಮನಸ್ಸೇ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಯಜ್ಞ; ದೇವರೇ, ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪದಿಂದ ಜಜ್ಜಿಹೋದ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
18 Bee fauourable vnto Zion for thy good pleasure: builde the walles of Ierusalem.
೧೮ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡು; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸು.
19 Then shalt thou accept ye sacrifices of righteousnes, euen the burnt offering and oblation: then shall they offer calues vpon thine altar.
೧೯ಆಗ ಜನರು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದೇವರೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವರು.
