Psalms 47

1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. All people clap your hands: sing loude vnto God with a ioyfull voyce.

೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಕೋರಹೀಯರ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಸರ್ವಜನಾಂಗದವರೇ, ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಹೊಡೆಯಿರಿ; ಆರ್ಭಟದಿಂದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಜಯಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

2 For the Lord is high, and terrible: a great King ouer all the earth.

೨ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಭಯಂಕರನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ಭೂಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹಾರಾಜನು ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

3 He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete.

೩ಆತನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಅಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

4 Hee hath chosen our inheritance for vs: euen the glory of Iaakob whom he loued. (Selah)

೪ಆತನು ಘನತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶದವರಾದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. (ಸೆಲಾ)

5 God is gone vp with triumph, euen the Lord, with the sound of the trumpet.

೫ದೇವರು ಜಯಘೋಷದಿಂದ ಏರಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಯೆಹೋವನು ತುತ್ತೂರಿಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯೊಡನೆ ಆರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

6 Sing prayses to God, sing prayses: sing prayses vnto our King, sing prayses.

೬ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸಂಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ, ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ ಹಾಡಿರಿ; ನಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ, ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ.

7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing prayses euery one that hath vnderstanding.

೭ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ದೇವರು ಭೂಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜನು; ಆತನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನಯುಕ್ತರಾಗಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ.

8 God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon his holy throne.

೮ದೇವರು ಸರ್ವಾಧಿಪತ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

9 The princes of the people are gathered vnto the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the world belong to God: he is greatly to be exalted.

೯ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಆಳುವ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಭೂಪರಲೋಕದ ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವುಗಳೇ. ಆತನೇ ಸರ್ವೋನ್ನತನು.
