Psalms 45

1 To him that excelleth on Shoshannim a song of love to give instruction, committed to the sonnes of Korah. Mine heart will vtter forth a good matter: I wil intreat in my workes of the King: my tongue is as the pen of a swift writer.

Rebosa mi corazón palabra buena: yo digo en mis obras del rey: mi lengua será como una pluma de escribano que escribe apriesa.

2 Thou art fayrer then the children of men: grace is powred in thy lips, because God hath blessed thee for euer.

Te hermoseaste más que los hijos de los hombres: la gracia se derramó en tus labios; por tanto te ha bendecido Dios para siempre.

3 Gird thy sword vpon thy thigh, O most mightie, to wit, thy worship and thy glory,

Cíñete tu espada sobre el muslo, o! Valiente, con tu gloria y con tu hermosura.

4 And prosper with thy glory: ride vpon the worde of trueth and of meekenes and of righteousnes: so thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

Y con tu hermosura sé prosperado: cabalga sobre palabra de verdad, y de humildad, y de justicia: y tu diestra te enseñará terribilidades.

5 Thine arrowes are sharpe to pearce the heart of the Kings enemies: therefore the people shall fall vnder thee.

Tus saetas agudas, con que caerán pueblos debajo de ti; en el corazón de los enemigos del rey.

6 Thy throne, O God, is for euer and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a scepter of righteousnesse.

Tu trono, o! Dios, eterno y para siempre: vara de justicia la vara de tu reino.

7 Thou louest righteousnes, and hatest wickednesse, because God, euen thy God hath anoynted thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.

Amaste la justicia, y aborreciste la maldad: por tanto te ungió Dios, tu Dios, con aceite de gozo más que a tus compañeros.

8 All thy garments smelll of myrrhe and aloes, and cassia, when thou commest out of the yuorie palaces, where they haue made thee glad.

Almizcle, y sándalos, y ámbar son todos tus vestidos, desde los palacios de marfil, donde te alegraron.

9 Kings daugthers were among thine honorable wiues: vpon thy right hand did stand the Queene in a vesture of golde of Ophir.

Hijas de reyes entre tus ilustres: está la reina a tu diestra con corona de Ofir.

10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine eare: forget also thine owne people and thy fathers house.

Oye, hija, y mira, e inclina tu oído: y olvida tu pueblo, y la casa de tu padre.

11 So shall the King haue pleasure in thy beautie: for he is thy Lord, and reuerence thou him.

Y deseará el rey tu hermosura: porque él es tu Señor, e inclínate a él.

12 And the daughter of Tyrus with the rich of the people shall doe homage before thy face with presents.

Y la hija de Tiro con presente suplicará tu favor: todos los ricos del pueblo.

13 The Kings daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of broydred golde.

Toda ilustre es la hija del rey de dentro: de engastes de oro es su vestido.

14 She shalbe brought vnto the King in raiment of needle worke: the virgins that follow after her, and her companions shall be brought vnto thee.

Con vestidos bordados será llevada al rey, vírgenes en pos de ella: sus compañeras serán traídas a ti.

15 With ioy and gladnes shall they be brought, and shall enter into the Kings palace.

Serán traídas con alegrías y gozo: entrarán en el palacio del rey.

16 In steade of thy fathers shall thy children be: thou shalt make them princes through all the earth.

En lugar de tus padres serán tus hijos: hacerles has príncipes en toda la tierra.

17 I will make thy Name to be remembred through all generations: therefore shall the people giue thanks vnto thee world without ende.

Haré memoria de tu nombre en toda generación y generación: por lo cual pueblos te alabarán eternalmente y para siempre.
