Psalms 22

1 To him that excelleth upon Aiieleth Hasshahar. A Psalme of Dauid. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me, and art so farre from mine health, and from the wordes of my roaring?

Untuk pemimpin biduan. Menurut lagu: Rusa di kala fajar. Mazmur Daud. Allahku, Allahku, mengapa Engkau meninggalkan aku? Aku berseru, tetapi Engkau tetap jauh dan tidak menolong aku.

2 O my God, I crie by day, but thou hearest not, and by night, but haue no audience.

Allahku, aku berseru-seru pada waktu siang, tetapi Engkau tidak menjawab, dan pada waktu malam, tetapi tidak juga aku tenang.

3 But thou art holy, and doest inhabite the prayses of Israel.

Padahal Engkaulah Yang Kudus yang bersemayam di atas puji-pujian orang Israel.

4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didest deliuer them.

Kepada-Mu nenek moyang kami percaya; mereka percaya, dan Engkau meluputkan mereka.

5 They called vpon thee, and were deliuered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

Kepada-Mu mereka berseru-seru, dan mereka terluput; kepada-Mu mereka percaya, dan mereka tidak mendapat malu.

6 But I am a worme, and not a man: a shame of men, and the contempt of the people.

Tetapi aku ini ulat dan bukan orang, cela bagi manusia, dihina oleh orang banyak.

7 All they that see me, haue me in derision: they make a mowe and nod the head, saying,

Semua yang melihat aku mengolok-olok aku, mereka mencibirkan bibirnya, menggelengkan kepalanya:

8 He trusted in the Lord, let him deliuer him: let him saue him, seeing he loueth him.

"Ia menyerah kepada TUHAN; biarlah Dia yang meluputkannya, biarlah Dia yang melepaskannya! Bukankah Dia berkenan kepadanya?"

9 But thou didest draw me out of ye wombe: thou gauest me hope, euen at my mothers breasts.

Ya, Engkau yang mengeluarkan aku dari kandungan; Engkau yang membuat aku aman pada dada ibuku.

10 I was cast vpon thee, euen from ye wombe: thou art my God from my mothers belly.

Kepada-Mu aku diserahkan sejak aku lahir, sejak dalam kandungan ibuku Engkaulah Allahku.

11 Be not farre from me, because trouble is neere: for there is none to helpe me.

Janganlah jauh dari padaku, sebab kesusahan telah dekat, dan tidak ada yang menolong.

12 Many yong bulles haue compassed me: mightie bulles of Bashan haue closed me about.

Banyak lembu jantan mengerumuni aku; banteng-banteng dari Basan mengepung aku;

13 They gape vpon me with their mouthes, as a ramping and roaring lyon.

mereka mengangakan mulutnya terhadap aku seperti singa yang menerkam dan mengaum.

14 I am like water powred out, and all my bones are out of ioynt: mine heart is like waxe: it is molten in the middes of my bowels.

Seperti air aku tercurah, dan segala tulangku terlepas dari sendinya; hatiku menjadi seperti lilin, hancur luluh di dalam dadaku;

15 My strength is dryed vp like a potsheard, and my tongue cleaueth to my iawes, and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

kekuatanku kering seperti beling, lidahku melekat pada langit-langit mulutku; dan dalam debu maut Kauletakkan aku.

16 For dogges haue compassed me, and the assemblie of the wicked haue inclosed me: they perced mine hands and my feete.

Sebab anjing-anjing mengerumuni aku, gerombolan penjahat mengepung aku, mereka menusuk tangan dan kakiku.

17 I may tell all my bones: yet they beholde, and looke vpon me.

Segala tulangku dapat kuhitung; mereka menonton, mereka memandangi aku.

18 They part my garments among them, and cast lottes vpon my vesture.

Mereka membagi-bagi pakaianku di antara mereka, dan mereka membuang undi atas jubahku.

19 But be thou not farre off, O Lord, my strength: hasten to helpe me.

Tetapi Engkau, TUHAN, janganlah jauh; ya kekuatanku, segeralah menolong aku!

20 Deliuer my soule from the sword: my desolate soule from the power of the dogge.

Lepaskanlah aku dari pedang, dan nyawaku dari cengkeraman anjing.

21 Saue me from the lyons mouth, and answere me in sauing me from the hornes of the vnicornes.

Selamatkanlah aku dari mulut singa, dan dari tanduk banteng. Engkau telah menjawab aku!

22 I wil declare thy Name vnto my brethren: in the middes of the Congregation will I praise thee, saying,

Aku akan memasyhurkan nama-Mu kepada saudara-saudaraku dan memuji-muji Engkau di tengah-tengah jemaah:

23 Prayse the Lord, ye that feare him: magnifie ye him, all the seede of Iaakob, and feare ye him, all the seede of Israel.

kamu yang takut akan TUHAN, pujilah Dia, hai segenap anak cucu Yakub, muliakanlah Dia, dan gentarlah terhadap Dia, hai segenap anak cucu Israel!

24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred ye affliction of the poore: neither hath he hid his face from him, but when he called vnto him, he heard.

Sebab Ia tidak memandang hina ataupun merasa jijik kesengsaraan orang yang tertindas, dan Ia tidak menyembunyikan wajah-Nya kepada orang itu, dan Ia mendengar ketika orang itu berteriak minta tolong kepada-Nya.

25 My prayse shalbe of thee in the great Congregation: my vowes will I perfourme before them that feare him.

Karena Engkau aku memuji-muji dalam jemaah yang besar; nazarku akan kubayar di depan mereka yang takut akan Dia.

26 The poore shall eate and be satisfied: they that seeke after the Lord, shall prayse him: your heart shall liue for euer.

Orang yang rendah hati akan makan dan kenyang, orang yang mencari TUHAN akan memuji-muji Dia; biarlah hatimu hidup untuk selamanya!

27 All the endes of the worlde shall remember themselues, and turne to the Lord: and all the kinreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Segala ujung bumi akan mengingatnya dan berbalik kepada TUHAN; dan segala kaum dari bangsa-bangsa akan sujud menyembah di hadapan-Nya.

28 For the kingdome is the Lords, and he ruleth among the nations.

Sebab Tuhanlah yang empunya kerajaan, Dialah yang memerintah atas bangsa-bangsa.

29 All they that be fat in the earth, shall eate and worship: all they that go downe into the dust, shall bowe before him, euen he that cannot quicken his owne soule.

Ya, kepada-Nya akan sujud menyembah semua orang sombong di bumi, di hadapan-Nya akan berlutut semua orang yang turun ke dalam debu, dan orang yang tidak dapat menyambung hidup.

30 Their seede shall serue him: it shalbe counted vnto the Lord for a generation.

Anak-anak cucu akan beribadah kepada-Nya, dan akan menceritakan tentang TUHAN kepada angkatan yang akan datang.

31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousnesse vnto a people that shall be borne, because he hath done it.

Mereka akan memberitakan keadilan-Nya kepada bangsa yang akan lahir nanti, sebab Ia telah melakukannya.
