Psalms 20

1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The Lord heare thee in the day of trouble: the name of ye God of Iaakob defend thee:

۱ برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور داود خداوند تو را در روز تنگی مستجاب فرماید. نام خدای یعقوب تو را سرافرازنماید.

2 Send thee helpe from the Sanctuarie, and strengthen thee out of Zion.

۲ نصرت برای تو از قدس خود بفرستد وتو را از صهیون تایید نماید.

3 Let him remember all thine offerings, and turne thy burnt offerings into asshes. (Selah)

۳ جمیع هدایای تو رابه یاد آورد و قربانی های سوختنی تو را قبول فرماید. سلاه.

4 And graunt thee according to thine heart, and fulfill all thy purpose:

۴ موافق دل تو به تو عطا فرماید وهمه مشورتهای تو را به انجام رساند.

5 That we may reioyce in thy saluation, and set vp the banner in the Name of our God, when the Lord shall performe all thy petitions.

۵ به نجات تو خواهیم سرایید و به نام خدای خود، علم خود را خواهیم افراشت. خداوندتمامی مسالت تو را به انجام خواهد رسانید.

6 Now know I that the Lord will helpe his anointed, and will heare him from his Sanctuarie, by the mightie helpe of his right hand.

۶ الان دانسته‌ام که خداوند مسیح خود رامی رهاند. از فلک قدس خود او را اجابت خواهدنمود، به قوت نجات‌بخش دست راست خویش.

7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the Name of ye Lord our God.

۷ اینان ارابه‌ها را و آنان اسبها را، اما ما نام یهوه خدای خود را ذکر خواهیم نمود.

8 They are brought downe and fallen, but we are risen, and stand vpright.

۸ ایشان خم شده، افتاده‌اند و اما ما برخاسته، ایستاده‌ایم.

9 Saue Lord: let the King heare vs in the day that we call.

۹ ‌ای خداوند نجات بده! پادشاه در روزی که بخوانیم، ما را مستجاب فرماید.
