Psalms 145
1 A Psalme of David of Praise. O my God and King, I will extold thee, and will blesse thy Name for euer and euer.
[Salmo di] lode, di Davide O DIO mio, Re mio, io ti esalterò; E benedirò il tuo Nome in sempiterno.
2 I will blesse thee dayly, and prayse thy Name for euer and euer.
Io ti benedirò tuttodì; E loderò il tuo Nome in sempiterno.
3 Great is the Lord, and most worthy to be praysed, and his greatnes is incomprehensible.
Il Signore [è] grande, e degno di somma lode; E la sua grandezza non può essere investigata.
4 Generation shall praise thy works vnto generation, and declare thy power.
Un'età dopo l'altra predicherà le lodi delle tue opere; E gli uomini racconteranno le tue prodezze.
5 I wil meditate of the beautie of thy glorious maiestie, and thy wonderfull workes,
Io ragionerò della magnificenza della gloria della tua maestà, E delle tue maraviglie.
6 And they shall speake of the power of thy fearefull actes, and I will declare thy greatnes.
E [gli uomini] diranno la potenza delle tue [opere] tremende; Ed io narrerò la tua grandezza.
7 They shall breake out into the mention of thy great goodnes, and shall sing aloude of thy righteousnesse.
Essi sgorgheranno la ricordanza della tua gran bontà, E canteranno con giubilo la tua giustizia.
8 The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great mercie.
Il Signore [è] grazioso, e pietoso; Lento all'ira, e di gran benignità.
9 The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are ouer all his workes.
Il Signore [è] buono inverso tutti; E le sue compassioni [son] sopra tutte le sue opere.
10 All thy workes prayse thee, O Lord, and thy Saints blesse thee.
O Signore, tutte le tue opere ti celebreranno; E i tuoi santi ti benediranno:
11 They shewe the glory of thy kingdome, and speake of thy power,
Diranno la gloria del tuo regno; E narreranno la tua forza;
12 To cause his power to be knowen to the sonnes of men, and the glorious renoume of his kingdome.
Per far note le tue prodezze, E la magnificenza della gloria del tuo regno a' figliuoli degli uomini.
13 Thy kingdome is an euerlasting kingdome, and thy dominion endureth throughout all ages.
Il tuo regno [è] un regno di tutti i secoli, E la tua signoria [è] per ogni età.
14 The Lord vpholdeth all that fall, and lifteth vp all that are ready to fall.
Il Signore sostiene tutti quelli che cadono, E rileva tutti quelli che dichinano.
15 The eyes of all waite vpon thee, and thou giuest them their meate in due season.
Gli occhi di tutti sperano in te; E tu dài loro il lor cibo al suo tempo.
16 Thou openest thine hand, and fillest all things liuing of thy good pleasure.
Tu apri la tua mano, E sazii di benevolenza ogni vivente
17 The Lord is righteous in all his wayes, and holy in all his workes.
Il Signore [è] giusto in tutte le sue vie, E benigno in tutte le sue opere.
18 The Lord is neere vnto all that call vpon him: yea, to all that call vpon him in trueth.
Il Signore [è] presso di tutti quelli che l'invocano, Di tutti quelli che l'invocano in verità.
19 He wil fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also wil heare their cry, and wil saue them.
Egli adempie il desiderio di quelli che lo temono, E ode il lor grido, e li salva.
20 The Lord preserueth all them that loue him: but he will destroy all the wicked.
Il Signore guarda tutti quelli che l'amano; E distruggerà tutti gli empi.
21 My mouth shall speake the prayse of the Lord, and all flesh shall blesse his holy Name for euer and euer.
La mia bocca narrerà la lode del Signore; E ogni carne benedirà il Nome della sua santità In sempiterno.
