Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
Aleluia! Louvai o nome do SENHOR; louvai [-o] vós, servos do SENHOR,
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
Que prestais serviço na Casa do SENHOR, nos pátios da Casa do nosso Deus.
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
Louvai ao SENHOR, porque o SENHOR é bom; cantai louvores ao seu nome, porque é agradável;
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
Porque o SENHOR escolheu para si a Jacó, a Israel como propriedade sua;
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
Porque eu sei que o SENHOR é grande, e nosso Senhor está acima de todos os deuses.
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
O SENHOR faz tudo o que quer, nos céus, na terra, nos mares, e [em] todos os abismos.
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
Ele faz as nuvens subirem desde os confins da terra, faz os relâmpagos com a chuva; ele produz os ventos de seus tesouros.
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
Ele feriu os primogênitos do Egito, desde os homens até os animais.
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
Ele enviou sinais e prodígios no meio de ti, Egito; contra Faraó, e contra todos os seus servos.
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
Ele feriu muitas nações, e matou reis poderosos:
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
Seom, rei dos amorreus, e Ogue, rei de Basã; e todos os reinos de Canaã.
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
E deu a terra deles como herança; como herança a Israel, seu povo.
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
Ó SENHOR, teu nome [dura] para sempre; [e] tua memória, SENHOR, de geração em geração.
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
Porque o SENHOR julgará a seu povo; e terá compaixão de seus servos.
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
Os ídolos das nações [são] prata e ouro; [são] obra de mãos humanas.
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, mas não veem.
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
Têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem; não têm respiração em sua boca.
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
Tornem-se como eles os que os fazem, [e] todos os que confiam neles.
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
Casa de Israel, bendizei ao SENHOR! Casa de Arão, bendizei ao SENHOR!
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
Casa de Levi, bendizei ao SENHOR! Vós que temeis ao SENHOR, bendizei ao SENHOR.
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Bendito seja o SENHOR desde Sião, ele que habita em Jerusalém. Aleluia!
