Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Blessed are those that are vpright in their way, and walke in the Lawe of the Lord.
௧ஆலெப். யெகோவாவுடைய வேதத்தின்படி நடக்கிற உத்தம வழியில் நடப்பவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
2 Blessed are they that keepe his testimonies, and seeke him with their whole heart.
௨அவருடைய சாட்சிகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவரை முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தேடுகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
3 Surely they woorke none iniquitie, but walke in his waies.
௩அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்வதில்லை; அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடக்கிறார்கள்.
4 Thou hast commanded to keepe thy precepts diligently.
௪உமது கட்டளைகளை நாங்கள் கருத்தாகக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி நீர் கற்றுக்கொடுத்தீர்.
5 Oh that my waies were directed to keepe thy statutes!
௫உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி, என்னுடைய நடைகள் நிலைத்திருந்தால் நலமாக இருக்கும்.
6 Then should I not be confounded, when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.
௬நான் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் நினைக்கும்போது, வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போவதில்லை.
7 I will praise thee with an vpright heart, when I shall learne the iudgements of thy righteousnesse.
௭உம்முடைய நீதிநியாயங்களை நான் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது, செம்மையான இருதயத்தால் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.
8 I will keepe thy statutes: forsake mee not ouerlong.
௮உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்; முற்றிலும் என்னைக் கைவிடாமலிரும்.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
௯பேத். வாலிபன் தன்னுடைய வழியை எதினால் சுத்தம்செய்வான்? உமது வசனத்திற்குக் கீழ்படிகிறதினால்தானே.
10 With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements.
௧0என்னுடைய முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன், என்னை உமது கற்பனைகளைவிட்டு வழிதவறிச் செல்ல விடாமலிரும்.
11 I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.
௧௧நான் உமக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவஞ்செய்யாதபடிக்கு, உமது வசனத்தை என் இருதயத்தில் வைத்து வைத்தேன்.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teache mee thy statutes.
௧௨யெகோவாவே, நீர் வாழ்த்திற்குரியவர்; உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
13 With my lippes haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
௧௩உம்முடைய வசனத்தின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையெல்லாம் என்னுடைய உதடுகளால் விவரித்திருக்கிறேன்.
14 I haue had as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
௧௪திரளான செல்வத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படுவதுபோல, நான் உமது சாட்சிகளின் வழியில் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறேன்.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies.
௧௫உமது கட்டளைகளைத் தியானித்து, உமது வழிகளை மனதில் வைக்கிறேன்.
16 I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.
௧௬உமது பிரமாணங்களில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறேன்; உமது வசனத்தை மறவேன்.
17 GIMEL. Be beneficiall vnto thy seruant, that I may liue and keepe thy woorde.
௧௭கிமெல். உமது அடியேனுக்கு அனுகூலமாக இரும்; அப்பொழுது நான் பிழைத்து, உமது வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
18 Open mine eies, that I may see the wonders of thy Lawe.
௧௮உமது வேதத்திலுள்ள அதிசயங்களை நான் பார்க்கும்படிக்கு, என்னுடைய கண்களைத் திறந்தருளும்.
19 I am a stranger vpon earth: hide not thy commandements from me.
௧௯பூமியிலே நான் அந்நியன்; உமது கற்பனைகளை எனக்கு மறையாமலிரும்.
20 Mine heart breaketh for the desire to thy iudgements alway.
௨0உமது நியாயங்கள்மேல் என் ஆத்துமா எந்தநேரமும் வைத்திருக்கிற வாஞ்சையினால் சோர்ந்துபோகிறது.
21 Thou hast destroied the proud: cursed are they that doe erre from thy commandements.
௨௧உமது கற்பனைகளை விட்டு வழிவிலகின சபிக்கப்பட்ட பெருமையுள்ளவர்களை நீர் கடிந்துகொள்ளுகிறீர்.
22 Remoue from mee shame and contempt: for I haue kept thy testimonies.
௨௨நிந்தையையும் அவமானத்தையும் என்னை விட்டு அகற்றும்; நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளுக்குக் கீழ்படிகிறேன்.
23 Princes also did sit, and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.
௨௩அதிகாரிகளும் உட்கார்ந்து எனக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேசிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; உமது ஊழியனோ, உமது பிரமாணங்களைத் தியானிக்கிறேன்.
24 Also thy testimonies are my delite, and my counsellers.
௨௪உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் எனக்கு இன்பமும், எனக்கு ஆலோசனை தருபவையாக இருக்கிறது.
25 DALETH. My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.
௨௫டாலெத். என் ஆத்துமா மண்ணோடு ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது; உமது வசனத்தின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.
26 I haue declared my waies, and thou heardest me: teache me thy statutes.
௨௬என்னுடைய வழிகளை நான் உமக்கு விவரித்துக் காட்டினபோது எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தீர்; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
27 Make me to vnderstand ye way of thy precepts, and I will meditate in thy wondrous workes.
௨௭உமது கட்டளைகளின் வழியை எனக்கு உணர்த்தியருளும்; அப்பொழுது உமது அதிசயங்களைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
28 My soule melteth for heauinesse: raise mee vp according vnto thy worde.
௨௮துயரத்தால் என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா கரைந்து போகிறது; உமது வசனத்தின்படி என்னை எடுத்து நிறுத்தும்.
29 Take from mee the way of lying, and graunt me graciously thy Lawe.
௨௯பொய்வழியை என்னைவிட்டு விலக்கி, உம்முடைய வேதத்தை எனக்கு அருள்செய்யும்.
30 I haue chosen the way of trueth, and thy iudgements haue I laied before me.
௩0மெய்வழியை நான் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, உம்முடைய நியாயங்களை எனக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினேன்.
31 I haue cleaued to thy testimonies, O Lord: confound me not.
௩௧உமது சாட்சிகள்மேல் பற்றுதலாக இருக்கிறேன்; யெகோவாவே, என்னை வெட்கமடைய விடாமலிரும்.
32 I will runne the way of thy commandements, when thou shalt enlarge mine heart.
௩௨நீர் என்னுடைய இருதயத்தை விரிவாக்கும்போது, நான் உமது கற்பனைகளின் வழியாக ஓடுவேன்.
33 HE. Teach mee, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keepe it vnto the ende.
௩௩எ. யெகோவாவே, உமது பிரமாணங்களின் வழியை எனக்குப் போதியும்; முடிவுவரை நான் அதைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
34 Giue mee vnderstanding, and I will keepe thy Law: yea, I wil keepe it with my whole heart.
௩௪எனக்கு உணர்வைத் தாரும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உமது வேதத்தைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, என்னுடைய முழு இருதயத்தோடும் அதைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
35 Direct mee in the path of thy commandements: for therein is my delite.
௩௫உமது கற்பனைகளின் பாதையில் என்னை நடத்தும்; நான் அதில் பிரியமாக இருக்கிறேன்.
36 Incline mine heart vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnesse.
௩௬என்னுடைய இருதயம் பொருளாசையைச் சார்ந்து இருக்காமல், உமது சாட்சிகளைச் சார்ந்து இருக்கும்படி செய்யும்.
37 Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.
௩௭மாயையைப் பார்க்காதபடி நீர் என்னுடைய கண்களை விலக்கி, உமது வழிகளில் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.
38 Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.
௩௮உமக்குப் பயப்படுகிறதற்கு ஏற்ற உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை உமது அடியேனுக்கு உறுதிப்படுத்தும்.
39 Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
௩௯நான் பயப்படுகிற அவமானத்தை விலக்கியருளும்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் நல்லவைகள்.
40 Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,
௪0இதோ, உம்முடைய கட்டளைகள்மேல் வாஞ்சையாக இருக்கிறேன்; உமது நீதியால் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.
41 VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.
௪௧வௌ. யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்ததின்படி, உமது தயவும் உமது இரட்சிப்பும் எனக்கு வருவதாக.
42 So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.
௪௨அப்பொழுது என்னை நிந்திக்கிறவனுக்கு பதில் சொல்லுவேன்; உம்முடைய வசனத்தை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.
43 And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.
௪௩சத்திய வசனம் முற்றிலும் என்னுடைய வாயிலிருந்து நீங்கவிடாமலிரும்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
44 So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.
௪௪நான் எப்பொழுதும் என்றைக்கும் உமது வேதத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
45 And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
௪௫நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை ஆராய்கிறபடியால், அகலமான பாதையில் நடப்பேன்.
46 I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.
௪௬நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளைக் குறித்து, ராஜாக்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் வெட்கப்படாமல் பேசுவேன்.
47 And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
௪௭நான் பிரியப்படுகிற உமது கற்பனைகளில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இருப்பேன்.
48 Mine handes also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
௪௮நான் பிரியப்படுகிற உமது கற்பனைகளுக்குக் கையை உயர்த்துவேன், உமது பிரமாணங்களைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
49 ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.
௪௯சாயீன். நீர் என்னை நம்பச்செய்த வசனத்தை உமது அடியேனுக்காக நினைத்தருளும்.
50 It is my comfort in my trouble: for thy promise hath quickened me.
௫0அதுவே என்னுடைய துன்பத்தில் எனக்கு ஆறுதல், உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தம் என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தது.
51 The proude haue had me exceedingly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Lawe.
௫௧பெருமைக்காரர்கள் என்னை மிகவும் பரியாசம்செய்தும், நான் உமது வேதத்தைவிட்டு விலகினதில்லை.
52 I remembred thy iudgements of olde, O Lord, and haue bene comforted.
௫௨யெகோவாவே, ஆரம்பமுதலான உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளை நான் நினைத்து என்னைத் தேற்றுகிறேன்.
53 Feare is come vpon mee for the wicked, that forsake thy Lawe.
௫௩உமது வேதத்தை விட்டு விலகுகிற துன்மார்க்கர்களின் நடுக்கம் என்னைப் பிடித்தது.
54 Thy statutes haue beene my songes in the house of my pilgrimage.
௫௪நான் நிலையில்லாத குடியிருக்கும் வீட்டிலே உமது பிரமாணங்கள் எனக்கு பாடல்களானது.
55 I haue remembred thy Name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Lawe.
௫௫யெகோவாவே, இரவுநேரத்தில் உமது பெயரை நினைத்து, உமது வேதத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
56 This I had because I kept thy precepts.
௫௬நான் உமது கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டதால், இது எனக்குக் கிடைத்தது.
57 CHETH. O Lord, that art my portion, I haue determined to keepe thy wordes.
௫௭ஹெத். யெகோவாவே, நீரே என்னுடைய பங்கு; நான் உமது வசனங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன் என்றேன்.
58 I made my supplication in thy presence with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto me according to thy promise.
௫௮முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்முடைய தயவுக்காகக் கெஞ்சுகிறேன்; உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி எனக்கு இரங்கும்.
59 I haue considered my waies, and turned my feete into thy testimonies.
௫௯என்னுடைய வழிகளைச் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டு, என்னுடைய கால்களை உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளுக்கு நேராகத் திருப்பினேன்.
60 I made haste and delaied not to keepe thy commandements.
௬0உமது கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி, நான் தாமதிக்காமல் விரைந்தேன்.
61 The bandes of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
௬௧துன்மார்க்கர்களின் கூட்டங்கள் என்னைக் கொள்ளையிட்டும், உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நான் மறக்கவில்லை.
62 At midnight will I rise to giue thanks vnto thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
௬௨உமது நீதியான நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்காக, உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்படி பாதி இரவில் எழுந்திருப்பேன்.
63 I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
௬௩உமக்குப் பயந்து, உமது கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிற அனைவருக்கும் நான் நண்பன்.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercie: teache me thy statutes.
௬௪யெகோவாவே, பூமி உமது கிருபையினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
65 TETH. O Lord, thou hast delt graciously with thy seruant according vnto thy woorde.
௬௫தேத். யெகோவாவே, உமது வசனத்தின்படி உமது அடியேனை நன்றாக நடத்தினீர்.
66 Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
௬௬உத்தம நிதானிப்பையும் அறிவையும் எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும், உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளில் நம்பிக்கையாக இருக்கிறேன்.
67 Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but nowe I keepe thy woorde.
௬௭நான் உபத்திரவப்படுவதற்கு முன்பு வழிதப்பி நடந்தேன்; இப்பொழுதோ உம்முடைய வார்த்தையைக் காத்து நடக்கிறேன்.
68 Thou art good and gracious: teach me thy statutes.
௬௮தேவனே நீர் நல்லவரும், நன்மை செய்கிறவருமாக இருக்கிறீர்; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
69 The proud haue imagined a lie against me: but I wil keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.
௬௯பெருமைக்காரர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாகப் பொய்களைப் பிணைக்கிறார்கள்; நானோ, முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
70 Their heart is fatte as grease: but my delite is in thy Lawe.
௭0அவர்களுடைய இருதயம் கொழுத்திருக்கிறது; நானோ, உம்முடைய வேதத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறேன்.
71 It is good for me that I haue beene afflicted, that I may learne thy statutes.
௭௧நான் உபத்திரவப்பட்டது எனக்கு நல்லது; அதினால் உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
72 The Lawe of thy mouth is better vnto me, then thousands of golde and siluer.
௭௨அநேக ஆயிரம் பொன் வெள்ளியைவிட, நீர் கொடுத்த வேதமே எனக்கு நலம்.
73 IOD. Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue mee vnderstanding therefore, that I may learne thy commandements.
௭௩யோட். உம்முடைய கரங்கள் என்னை உண்டாக்கி, என்னை உருவாக்கினது; உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ள என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும்.
74 So they that feare thee, seeing mee shall reioyce, because I haue trusted in thy worde.
௭௪நான் உம்முடைய வசனத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்கிறபடியால், உமக்குப் பயந்தவர்கள் என்னைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்.
75 I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right, and that thou hast afflicted me iustly.
௭௫யெகோவாவே, உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் நீதியுள்ளதென்றும், உண்மையின்படி என்னை உபத்திரவப்படுத்தினீரென்றும் அறிவேன்.
76 I pray thee that thy mercie may comfort me according to thy promise vnto thy seruant.
௭௬நீர் உமது அடியேனுக்குக் கொடுத்த உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தேற்றட்டும்.
77 Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy Lawe is my delite.
௭௭நான் பிழைத்திருக்கும்படிக்கு உமது இரக்கங்கள் எனக்குக் கிடைக்கட்டும்; உம்முடைய வேதம் என்னுடைய மனமகிழ்ச்சி.
78 Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.
௭௮பெருமைக்காரர்கள் என்னைப் பொய்களினால் கெடுக்கப் பார்த்தபடியால் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகட்டும்; நானோ உமது கட்டளைகளைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
79 Let such as feare thee turne vnto me, and they that knowe thy testimonies.
௭௯உமக்குப் பயந்து, உமது சாட்சிகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறவர்கள் என்னிடம் திரும்பட்டும்.
80 Let mine heart bee vpright in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
௮0நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடிக்கு, என்னுடைய இருதயம் உமது பிரமாணங்களில் உத்தமமாக இருக்கட்டும்.
81 CAPH. My soule fainteth for thy saluation: yet I waite for thy worde.
௮௧கப். உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்புக்கு என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா தவிக்கிறது; உம்முடைய வசனத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
82 Mine eyes faile for thy promise, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
௮௨எப்பொழுது என்னைத் தேற்றுவீர் என்று, உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்மேல் நோக்கமாக என்னுடைய கண்கள் பூத்துப்போகிறது.
83 For I am like a bottell in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
௮௩புகையிலுள்ள தோல்பை போலானேன்; உமது பிரமாணங்களையோ மறவேன்.
84 Howe many are the dayes of thy seruant? When wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
௮௪உமது அடியேனுடைய நாட்கள் எவ்வளவு? என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்கு நீர் எப்பொழுது நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு செய்வீர்?
85 The proude haue digged pittes for mee, which is not after thy Lawe.
௮௫உம்முடைய வேதத்திற்கு விரோதமாக பெருமைக்காரர்கள் எனக்குக் குழிகளை வெட்டினார்கள்.
86 All thy commandements are true: they persecute me falsely: helpe me.
௮௬உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளெல்லாம் உண்மையாக இருக்கிறது; அநியாயமாக என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்; நீர் எனக்கு உதவி செய்யும்.
87 They had almost consumed me vpon the earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
௮௭அவர்கள் என்னைப் பூமியில் இல்லாமல் நீக்கிவிடச் சற்றே தப்பினது; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை விட்டுவிடவில்லை.
88 Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.
௮௮உமது கிருபையின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின் சாட்சியைக் காத்து நடப்பேன்.
89 LAMED. O Lord, thy worde endureth for euer in heauen.
௮௯லாமேட். யெகோவாவே, உமது வசனம் என்றென்றைக்கும் வானங்களில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
90 Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.
௯0உம்முடைய உண்மை தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக இருக்கும்; பூமியை உறுதிப்படுத்தினீர், அது நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
91 They continue euen to this day by thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
௯௧உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை நிறைவேற்றும்படி அவைகள் இந்த நாள்வரைக்கும் நிற்கிறது; அனைத்தும் உம்மைச் சேவிக்கும்.
92 Except thy Lawe had bene my delite, I should now haue perished in mine affliction.
௯௨உமது வேதம் என்னுடைய மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இல்லாமலிருந்தால், என்னுடைய துக்கத்திலே அழிந்துபோயிருப்பேன்.
93 I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.
௯௩நான் ஒருபோதும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை மறக்கமாட்டேன்; அவைகளால் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தீர்.
94 I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.
௯௪நான் உம்முடையவன், என்னை இரட்சியும்; உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை ஆராய்கிறேன்.
95 The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
௯௫துன்மார்க்கர்கள் என்னை அழிக்கக் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள்; நான் உமது சாட்சிகளைச் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.
96 I haue seene an ende of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding large.
௯௬நிறைவான அனைத்திற்கும் எல்லையைக் கண்டேன்; உம்முடைய கற்பனையோ மகா பெரிது.
97 MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually.
௯௭மேம். உமது வேதத்தில் நான் எவ்வளவு பிரியமாக இருக்கிறேன்! நாள் முழுவதும் அது என்னுடைய தியானம்.
98 By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.
௯௮நீர் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கொண்டு என்னை என்னுடைய எதிரிகளிலும் அதிக ஞானமுள்ளவனாக்குகிறீர்; அவைகள் என்றைக்கும் என்னுடனே இருக்கிறது.
99 I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
௯௯உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் என்னுடைய தியானமாக இருக்கிறபடியால், எனக்குப் போதித்தவர்கள் எல்லோரிலும் அறிவுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறேன்.
100 I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.
௧00உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நான் கைக்கொண்டிருக்கிறபடியால், முதியோர்களைவிட ஞானமுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறேன்.
101 I haue refrained my feete from euery euil way, that I might keepe thy word.
௧0௧உம்முடைய வசனத்தை நான் காத்து நடக்கும்படிக்கு, எல்லா பொல்லாத வழிகளுக்கும் என்னுடைய கால்களை விலக்குகிறேன்.
102 I haue not declined from thy iudgements: for thou didest teach me.
௧0௨நீர் எனக்குப் போதித்திருக்கிறபடியால், நான் உம்முடைய நியாயங்களை விட்டு விலகமாட்டேன்.
103 Howe sweete are thy promises vnto my mouth! yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.
௧0௩உம்முடைய வார்த்தைகள் என்னுடைய நாவுக்கு எவ்வளவு இனிமையானவைகள்; என்னுடைய வாய்க்கு அவைகள் தேனிலும் இனிமையானதாக இருக்கும்.
104 By thy precepts I haue gotten vnderstanding: therefore I hate all the wayes of falshoode.
௧0௪உமது கட்டளைகளால் உணர்வடைந்தேன், ஆதலால் எல்லாப் பொய்வழிகளையும் வெறுக்கிறேன்.
105 NUN. Thy worde is a lanterne vnto my feete, and a light vnto my path.
௧0௫நூன். உம்முடைய வசனம் என்னுடைய கால்களுக்குத் தீபமும், என்னுடைய பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமுமாக இருக்கிறது.
106 I haue sworne and will performe it, that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
௧0௬உம்முடைய நீதி நியாயங்களைக் காத்து நடப்பேன் என்று ஆணையிட்டேன்; அதை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.
107 I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.
௧0௭நான் மிகவும் உபத்திரவப்படுகிறேன்; யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய வசனத்தின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.
108 O Lord, I beseeche thee accept the free offerings of my mouth, and teach mee thy iudgements.
௧0௮யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய வாயின் உற்சாகபலிகளை நீர் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, உமது நியாயங்களை எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும்.
109 My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
௧0௯என்னுடைய உயிர் எப்பொழுதும் என்னுடைய கையில் இருக்கிறது; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய வேதத்தை மறக்கமாட்டேன்.
110 The wicked haue layed a snare for mee: but I swarued not from thy precepts.
௧௧0துன்மார்க்கர்கள் எனக்குக் கண்ணிவைக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை விட்டு வழிதவறிப் போகமாட்டேன்.
111 Thy testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the ioy of mine heart.
௧௧௧உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை நிரந்தர சுதந்தரமாக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன், அவைகளே என்னுடைய இருதயத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சி.
112 I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.
௧௧௨முடிவுவரை இடைவிடாமல் உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களின்படி செய்ய என்னுடைய இருதயத்தைச் சாய்த்தேன்.
113 SAMECH. I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.
௧௧௩சாமெக். வீண் சிந்தனைகளை நான் வெறுத்து, உமது வேதத்தில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.
114 Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.
௧௧௪என்னுடைய மறைவிடமும் என்னுடைய கேடகமும் நீரே; உம்முடைய வசனத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
115 Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.
௧௧௫பொல்லாதவர்களே, என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள்; என் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளை நான் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
116 Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.
௧௧௬நான் பிழைத்திருப்பதற்கு உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என்னை ஆதரித்தருளும்; என்னுடைய நம்பிக்கை வீணாகிப்போக என்னை வெட்கத்திற்கு உட்படுத்தாமல் இரும்.
117 Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.
௧௧௭என்னை ஆதரித்தருளும்; அப்பொழுது நான் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டு, எந்தநாளும் உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களில் தியானமாக இருப்பேன்.
118 Thou hast troden downe all them that depart from thy statutes: for their deceit is vaine.
௧௧௮உமது பிரமாணங்களைவிட்டு வழிவிலகுகிற அனைவரையும் மிதித்துப் போடுகிறீர்; அவர்களுடைய சிந்தனை வஞ்சனையானது.
119 Thou hast taken away all ye wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy testimonies.
௧௧௯பூமியிலுள்ள துன்மார்க்கர்கள் அனைவரையும் துருவைப்போல அகற்றிவிடுகிறீர்; ஆகையால் உமது சாட்சிகளில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.
120 My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.
௧௨0உமக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்தால் என்னுடைய உடல் சிலிர்க்கிறது; உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறேன்.
121 AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.
௧௨௧ஆயின். நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்கிறேன்; என்னை ஒடுக்குகிறவர்களுக்கு என்னை ஒப்புக்கொடாமல் இரும்.
122 Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.
௧௨௨உமது அடியேனுக்கு நன்மையாகத் துணைநில்லும்; பெருமைக்காரர்கள் என்னை ஒடுக்கச்செய்யாதிரும்.
123 Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.
௧௨௩உமது இரட்சிப்புக்கும் உமது நீதியின் வார்த்தைகளுக்கும் காத்திருக்கிறதினால் என்னுடைய கண்கள் பூத்துப்போகிறது.
124 Deale with thy seruant according to thy mercie, and teache me thy statutes.
௧௨௪உமது ஊழியனை உமது கிருபையின்படியே நடத்தி, உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
125 I am thy seruant: graunt mee therefore vnderstanding, that I may knowe thy testimonies.
௧௨௫நான் உமது ஊழியன்; உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை நான் அறியும்படி என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும்.
126 It is time for thee Lord to worke: for they haue destroyed thy Lawe.
௧௨௬நீதியைச்செய்யக் யெகோவாவுக்கு வேளை வந்தது; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய நியாயப்பிராணத்தை மீறினார்கள்.
127 Therefore loue I thy commandements aboue golde, yea, aboue most fine golde.
௧௨௭ஆதலால் நான் பொன்னிலும் பசும்பொன்னிலும் அதிகமாக உமது கற்பனைகளில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.
128 Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.
௧௨௮எல்லாவற்றைப்பற்றியும் நீர் அருளின எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளும் செம்மையென்று எண்ணி, அனைத்து பொய்வழிகளையும் வெறுக்கிறேன்.
129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.
௧௨௯பே. உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் அதிசயமானவைகள்; ஆகையால் என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா அவைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்.
130 The entrance into thy wordes sheweth light, and giueth vnderstanding to the simple.
௧௩0உம்முடைய வசனத்தின் விளக்கம் வெளிச்சம் தந்து, பேதைகளை உணர்வுள்ளவர்களாக்கும்.
131 I opened my mouth and panted, because I loued thy commandements.
௧௩௧உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளை நான் விரும்புகிறபடியால், என்னுடைய வாயை ஆவென்று திறந்து அவைகளுக்கு ஏங்குகிறேன்.
132 Looke vpon mee and bee mercifull vnto me, as thou vsest to doe vnto those that loue thy Name.
௧௩௨உம்முடைய பெயரை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு வழங்கும் நியாயத்தின்படியே என்னை நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எனக்கு இரங்கும்.
133 Direct my steppes in thy worde, and let none iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
௧௩௩உம்முடைய வார்த்தையிலே என்னுடைய காலடிகளை நிலைப்படுத்தி, ஒரு அநியாயமும் என்னை ஆட்கொள்ளச்செய்யாமல் இரும்.
134 Deliuer mee from the oppression of men, and I will keepe thy precepts.
௧௩௪மனிதர்கள் செய்யும் அநீதிகளுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி விடுவித்தருளும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
135 Shew the light of thy countenance vpon thy seruant, and teache me thy statutes.
௧௩௫உமது ஊழியன்மேல் உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கச்செய்து, உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
136 Mine eyes gush out with riuers of water, because they keepe not thy Lawe.
௧௩௬உம்முடைய வேதத்தை மனிதர்கள் காத்து நடக்காதபடியால், என்னுடைய கண்களிலிருந்து நீர்த்தாரைகள் ஓடுகிறது.
137 TSADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and iust are thy iudgements.
௧௩௭த்சாடே. யெகோவாவே, நீர் நீதிபரர், உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் செம்மையானவைகள்.
138 Thou hast commanded iustice by thy testimonies and trueth especially.
௧௩௮நீர் கட்டளையிட்ட சாட்சிகள் நீதியும், மகா உண்மையுமானவைகள்.
139 My zeale hath euen consumed mee, because mine enemies haue forgotten thy wordes.
௧௩௯என்னுடைய எதிரிகள் உம்முடைய வசனங்களை மறந்தபடியால், என்னுடைய பக்திவைராக்கியம் என்னை அழிக்கிறது.
140 Thy word is prooued most pure, and thy seruant loueth it.
௧௪0உமது வார்த்தை மிகவும் புடமிடப்பட்டது, உமது அடியேன் அதில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.
141 I am small and despised: yet do I not forget thy precepts.
௧௪௧நான் சிறியவனும் அசட்டை செய்யப்பட்டவனுமாக இருக்கிறேன்; ஆனாலும் உமது கட்டளைகளை மறவேன்.
142 Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnes, and thy Lawe is trueth.
௧௪௨உம்முடைய நீதி நிரந்தர நீதி, உம்முடைய வேதம் சத்தியம்.
143 Trouble and anguish are come vpon me: yet are thy commandements my delite.
௧௪௩துயரமும் வேதனையும் என்னைப் பிடித்தது; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகள் என்னுடைய மனமகிழ்ச்சி.
144 The righteousnes of thy testimonies is euerlasting: graunt me vnderstanding, and I shall liue.
௧௪௪உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளின் நீதி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்; என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும், அப்பொழுது நான் பிழைத்திருப்பேன்.
145 KOPH. I haue cried with my whole heart: heare me, O Lord, and I will keepe thy statutes.
௧௪௫கோப். முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கூப்பிட்டேன், யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய ஜெபத்தைக் கேளும்; உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
146 I called vpon thee: saue mee, and I will keepe thy testimonies.
௧௪௬உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன், என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்.
147 I preuented the morning light, and cried: for I waited on thy word.
௧௪௭அதிகாலையில் நான் எழுந்து சத்தமிட்டேன்; உம்முடைய வசனத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
148 Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.
௧௪௮உமது வசனத்தைத் தியானிக்கும்படி, குறித்த இரவு நேரங்களுக்கு முன்னே என்னுடைய கண்கள் விழித்துக்கொள்ளும்.
149 Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.
௧௪௯உம்முடைய கிருபையின்படி என்னுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேளும்; யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.
150 They drawe neere, that follow after malice, and are farre from thy Lawe.
௧௫0தீமையைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்கள் நெருங்கி இருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய வேதத்திற்குத் தூரமாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.
151 Thou art neere, O Lord: for all thy commandements are true.
௧௫௧யெகோவாவே, நீர் அருகில் இருக்கிறீர்; உமது கற்பனைகளெல்லாம் உண்மை.
152 I haue knowen long since by thy testimonies, that thou hast established them for euer.
௧௫௨நீர் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்க நிறுவினீர் என்பதை, அவைகளால் நான் நெடுநாளாக அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
153 RESH. Beholde mine affliction, and deliuer mee: for I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
௧௫௩ரேஷ். என்னுடைய உபத்திரவத்தைப் பார்த்து, என்னை விடுவியும்; உமது வேதத்தை மறக்கமாட்டேன்.
154 Pleade my cause, and deliuer me: quicken me according vnto thy word.
௧௫௪எனக்காக நீர் வழக்காடி என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும், உம்முடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.
155 Saluation is farre from the wicked, because they seeke not thy statutes.
௧௫௫இரட்சிப்பு துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்குத் தூரமாக இருக்கிறது, அவர்கள் உமது பிரமாணங்களைத் தேடமாட்டார்கள்.
156 Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy iudgements.
௧௫௬யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய இரக்கங்கள் பெரியவைகளாக இருக்கிறது; உமது நியாயங்களின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.
157 My persecutours and mine oppressours are many: yet doe I not swarue from thy testimonies.
௧௫௭என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களும் என்னை விரோதிக்கிறவர்களும் அநேகர்; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை விட்டுவிலகமாட்டேன்.
158 I saw the transgressours and was grieued, because they kept not thy worde.
௧௫௮உமது வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளாத துரோகிகளை நான் கண்டபோது, எனக்கு அருவருப்பாக இருந்தது.
159 Consider, O Lord, how I loue thy preceptes: quicken mee according to thy louing kindenesse.
௧௫௯இதோ, உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நேசிக்கிறேன்; யெகோவாவே, உமது கிருபையின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.
160 The beginning of thy worde is trueth, and all the iudgements of thy righteousnesse endure for euer.
௧௬0உம்முடைய வசனம் முழுவதும் சத்தியம், உம்முடைய நீதி நியாயமெல்லாம் நித்தியம்.
161 SCHIN. Princes haue persecuted mee without cause, but mine heart stood in awe of thy wordes.
௧௬௧ஷீன். அதிகாரிகளும் காரணமில்லாமல் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்தினார்கள், ஆனாலும் என்னுடைய இருதயம் உமது வசனத்திற்கே பயப்படுகிறது.
162 I reioyce at thy worde, as one that findeth a great spoyle.
௧௬௨மிகுந்த கொள்ளைப்பொருட்களைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவன் மகிழுகிறதுபோல, நான் உமது வார்த்தையின் பெயரில் மகிழுகிறேன்.
163 I hate falshoode and abhorre it, but thy Lawe doe I loue.
௧௬௩பொய்யைப் பகைத்து அருவருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய வேதத்தையோ நேசிக்கிறேன்.
164 Seuen times a day doe I praise thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
௧௬௪உமது நீதிநியாயங்களுக்காக, ஒருநாளில் ஏழுமுறை உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறேன்.
165 They that loue thy Law, shall haue great prosperitie, and they shall haue none hurt.
௧௬௫உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு மிகுந்த சமாதானமுண்டு; அவர்களுக்கு தடைகள் இல்லை.
166 Lord, I haue trusted in thy saluation, and haue done thy commandements.
௧௬௬யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்புக்கு நான் காத்திருந்து, உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி செய்கிறேன்.
167 My soule hath kept thy testimonies: for I loue them exceedingly.
௧௬௭என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா உமது சாட்சிகளைக் காக்கும்; அவைகளை நான் மிகவும் நேசிக்கிறேன்.
168 I haue kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my wayes are before thee.
௧௬௮உமது கட்டளைகளையும் உமது சாட்சிகளையும் காத்து நடக்கிறேன்; என்னுடைய வழிகளெல்லாம் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறது.
169 TAV. Let my complaint come before thee, O Lord, and giue me vnderstanding, according vnto thy worde.
௧௬௯தெள. யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய கூப்பிடுதல் உமது சந்நிதியில் வருவதாக; உமது வசனத்தின்படியே என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும்.
170 Let my supplication come before thee, and deliuer me according to thy promise.
௧௭0என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பம் உமது சந்நிதியில் வரட்டும்; உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என்னை விடுவித்தருளும்.
171 My lippes shall speake praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
௧௭௧உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை நீர் எனக்குப் போதிக்கும்போது, என்னுடைய உதடுகள் உமது துதியைப் பிரபலப்படுத்தும்.
172 My tongue shall intreate of thy word: for all thy commandements are righteous.
௧௭௨உமது கற்பனைகளெல்லாம் நீதியுள்ளவைகள்; ஆதலால், என்னுடைய நாவு உம்முடைய வசனத்தை விவரித்துச் சொல்லும்.
173 Let thine hand helpe me: for I haue chosen thy precepts.
௧௭௩நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டபடியால், உமது கரம் எனக்குத் துணையாக இருக்கட்டும்.
174 I haue longed for thy saluation, O Lord, and thy Lawe is my delite.
௧௭௪யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின்மேல் ஆவலாக இருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய வேதம் என்னுடைய மனமகிழ்ச்சி.
175 Let my soule liue, and it shall praise thee, and thy iudgements shall helpe me.
௧௭௫என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா பிழைத்திருந்து உம்மைத் துதிக்கட்டும்; உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் எனக்கு உதவியாக இருக்கட்டும்.
176 I haue gone astraye like a lost sheepe: seeke thy seruant, for I doe not forget thy commandements.
௧௭௬காணாமற்போன ஆட்டைப்போல வழிதப்பிப்போனேன்; உமது அடியேனைத் தேடும்; உமது கற்பனைகளை நான் மறக்கமாட்டேன்.
