Psalms 114

1 When Israel went out of Egypt, and the house of Iaakob from the barbarous people,

၁ဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ ယာကုပ်အနွှယ်သည် ရိုင်း သောလူမျိုးနေရာ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်က ထွက်သွားသောအခါ၊

2 Iudah was his sanctification, and Israel his dominion.

၂ယုဒအမျိုးသည် သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနတော်ဖြစ်၏။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် နိုင်ငံတော်ဖြစ်၏။

3 The Sea sawe it and fled: Iorden was turned backe.

၃ပင်လယ်သည် မြင်၍ပြေးလေ၏။ ယော်ဒန်မြစ် လည်း နောက်သို့ လှည့်လေ၏။

4 The mountaines leaped like rams, and the hils as lambes.

၄တောင်ကြီးတို့သည် သိုးကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ တောင်ငယ်တို့သည် သိုးသငယ်ကဲ့သို့၎င်း ခုန်ကြ၏။

5 What ailed thee, O Sea, that thou fleddest? O Iorden, why wast thou turned backe?

၅အချင်းပင်လယ်၊ သင်ပြေးသည် အ ကြောင်း၊ အချင်းယော်ဒန်မြစ်၊ သင်သည် နောက်သို့လှည့် သည်အကြောင်း၊

6 Ye mountaines, why leaped ye like rams, and ye hils as lambes?

၆အချင်းတောင်ကြီးတို့၊ သင်တို့သည် သိုးကဲ့သို့ ခုန်ကြသည်အကြောင်း၊ အချင်းတောင်ငယ်တို့၊ သင်တို့ သည် သိုးသငယ်ကဲ့သို့ ခုန်ကြသည် အကြောင်းကား အဘယ်သို့နည်း။

7 The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Iaakob,

၇အိုမြေကြီး၊ အရှင်၏မျက်နှာတော်ရှေ့၊ ယာကုပ် အမျိုးကိုးကွယ်သော ဘုရားသခင်၏ မျက်နှာတော်ရှေ့မှာ တုန်လှုပ်လျက်နေလော့။

8 Which turneth the rocke into waterpooles, and the flint into a fountaine of water.

၈ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကျောက်ကို ရေကန်၊ မီးကျောက်ကို စမ်းရေတွင်းဖြစ်စေတော်မူသတည်း။
