< Psalms 105 >

1 Praise the Lord, and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people.
Mou ʻatu ʻae fakafetaʻi kia Sihova; ui ki hono huafa: fakahā ʻene ngaahi ngāue ʻi he ʻao ʻoe kakai.
2 Sing vnto him, sing prayse vnto him, and talke of all his wonderous workes.
Hiva kiate ia, hiva ʻaki ʻae ngaahi saame kiate ia: mou talanoa ʻaki ʻene ngaahi ngāue fakaofo kotoa pē.
3 Reioyce in his holy Name: let the heart of them that seeke the Lord, reioyce.
Mou vikiviki ʻi hono huafa māʻoniʻoni: tuku ke fiefia ʻae loto ʻokinautolu ʻoku nau kumi kia Sihova.
4 Seeke the Lord and his strength: seeke his face continually.
Kumi kia Sihova, mo hono mālohi: kumi maʻuaipē ki hono fofonga.
5 Remember his marueilous woorkes, that he hath done, his wonders and the iudgements of his mouth,
Manatu ki heʻene ngaahi ngāue fakaofo ʻaia kuo ne fai; ʻa ʻene ngaahi mana, mo e ngaahi fakamaau ʻa hono fofonga;
6 Ye seede of Abraham his seruant, ye children of Iaakob, which are his elect.
‌ʻAkimoutolu ʻae hako ʻo ʻEpalahame ko ʻene tamaioʻeiki, ʻakimoutolu ʻae fānau ʻa Sēkope ʻaia kuo ne fili.
7 He is the Lord our God: his iudgements are through all the earth.
Ko ia, ko Sihova ko hotau ʻOtua, ʻoku ʻi māmani kotoa pē ʻa ʻene ngaahi fakamaau.
8 He hath alway remembred his couenant and promise, that he made to a thousand generations,
Kuo manatu ʻe ia ki heʻene fuakava ʻo lauikuonga, ko e folofola ʻaia naʻa ne fekau ki he toʻutangata ʻe taha afe.
9 Euen that which he made with Abraham, and his othe vnto Izhak:
‌ʻA e fuakava ʻaia naʻa ne fai mo ʻEpalahame, pea mo ʻene fuakava kia ʻAisake;
10 And since hath confirmed it to Iaakob for a lawe, and to Israel for an euerlasting couenant,
Pea ne fokotuʻumaʻu ia kia Sēkope ko e fono, pea kia ʻIsileli ko e fuakava taʻengata:
11 Saying, Vnto thee will I giue the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.
‌ʻO ne pehē, “Te u foaki kiate koe ʻae fonua ko Kēnani, ko e fuofua ʻo homou tofiʻa:”
12 Albeit they were fewe in nomber, yea, very fewe, and strangers in the land,
‌ʻI he lolotonga naʻe tokosiʻi pe honau kau tangata; ʻio, ko e tokosiʻi ʻaupito, mo e kau muli ʻi ai.
13 And walked about from nation to nation, from one kingdome to another people,
Lolotonga ʻa ʻenau ʻalu mei he faʻahinga ʻe taha ki ha faʻahinga kehe, pea mei he puleʻanga ʻe taha ki he kakai kehe;
14 Yet suffered he no man to doe them wrong, but reprooued Kings for their sakes, saying,
Naʻe ʻikai tuku ʻe ia ke fai kovi ʻe ha tangata ʻe taha kiate kinautolu: ʻio, naʻa ne valoki ʻae ngaahi tuʻi koeʻuhi ko kinautolu;
15 Touche not mine anointed, and doe my Prophets no harme.
ʻO ne pehē, “ʻOua naʻa ala kiate ia kuo u pani, pea ʻoua naʻa fai kovi ki heʻeku kau palōfita.”
16 Moreouer, he called a famine vpon ye land, and vtterly brake the staffe of bread.
Pea naʻa ne ui foki ke hoko ʻae honge ki he fonua: naʻa ne fesiʻi ʻae tokotoko kotoa pē ʻoe mā,
17 But he sent a man before them: Ioseph was solde for a slaue.
Naʻa ne fekau ʻae tangata ke muʻomuʻa ʻiate kinautolu, ʻio, ko Siosefa ʻaia naʻe fakatau ke tamaioʻeiki:
18 They helde his feete in the stockes, and he was laide in yrons,
Pea naʻa nau fakamamahiʻi hono vaʻe ʻaki ʻae ngaahi haʻi: naʻe tuia ia ʻe he ukamea:
19 Vntill his appointed time came, and the counsell of the Lord had tryed him.
‌ʻO aʻu ki he ʻaho naʻe hoko ai ʻene lea: naʻe ʻahiʻahiʻi ia ʻe he folofola ʻa Sihova.
20 The King sent and loosed him: euen the Ruler of the people deliuered him.
Naʻe fekau ʻe he tuʻi ke vete ia; ʻio, ʻe he pule ʻoe kakai, pea naʻa ne tukuange ia ke tauʻatāina pe.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance,
Naʻa ne fakanofo ia ko e ʻeiki ʻo hono fale, mo e pule ʻo ʻene koloa kotoa pē:
22 That he shoulde binde his princes vnto his will, and teach his Ancients wisedome.
Ke haʻisia hono ngaahi ʻeiki ko ʻene faʻiteliha; mo akonakiʻi ʻa ʻene kau mātuʻa ʻi he poto.
23 Then Israel came to Egypt, and Iaakob was a stranger in the land of Ham.
Naʻe haʻu foki ʻa ʻIsileli ki ʻIsipite pea naʻe ʻāunofo ʻa Sēkope ʻi he fonua ʻo Hami.
24 And he increased his people exceedingly, and made them stronger then their oppressours.
Pea naʻa ne fakatupu ʻo tokolahi ʻaupito ʻa hono kakai; pea ne ngaohi ʻakinautolu kenau mālohi hake ʻi honau ngaahi fili.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, and to deale craftily with his seruants.
Naʻa ne liliu honau loto kenau fehiʻa ki hono kakai, kenau fai kākā ki heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki.
26 Then sent he Moses his seruant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.
Naʻa ne fekau atu ʻa Mōsese ko ʻene tamaioʻeiki; mo ʻElone ʻaia naʻa ne fili.
27 They shewed among them the message of his signes, and wonders in the land of Ham.
Naʻa ne fakahā hono ngaahi fakaʻilonga ʻiate kinautolu, mo e ngaahi meʻa mana ʻi he fonua ʻo Hami.
28 He sent darkenesse, and made it darke: and they were not disobedient vnto his commission.
Naʻe fekau ʻe ia ki he fakapoʻuli, pea ngaohi ia ko e poʻuli; pea naʻe ʻikai angatuʻu ʻakinautolu ki heʻene folofola.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slewe their fish.
Naʻa ne liliu honau ngaahi vai ko e toto, mo tāmateʻi ʻenau ika.
30 Their land brought foorth frogs, euen in their Kings chambers.
Naʻe tupu ʻi honau fonua ʻae fanga poto ʻo lahi ʻaupito, ʻi he ngaahi loki ʻo honau ngaahi tuʻi.
31 He spake, and there came swarmes of flies and lice in all their quarters.
Naʻe folofola ia, pea naʻe haʻu ʻae ngaahi lango kehekehe, mo e fanga kutu ʻi honau fonua.
32 He gaue them haile for raine, and flames of fire in their land.
Naʻa ne ʻomi ʻae ʻuha maka kiate kinautolu ko e fetongi ʻoe ʻuha, mo e afi ʻoku ulo ʻi honau fonua.
33 He smote their vines also and their figge trees, and brake downe the trees in their coastes.
Naʻa ne taaʻi foki ʻenau ngaahi vaine, mo ʻenau ngaahi ʻakau ko e fiki; pea fesiʻi ʻae ngaahi ʻakau ʻo honau fonua.
34 He spake, and the grashoppers came, and caterpillers innumerable,
Naʻa ne folofola, pea naʻe haʻu ai ʻae fanga heʻe, mo e ngaahi ʻunufe ʻoku taʻefaʻalaua.
35 And did eate vp all the grasse in their land, and deuoured the fruite of their ground.
Pea naʻa nau kai ke ʻosi ʻae ngaahi ʻakau kotoa pē ʻi honau fonua, pea nau fakaʻauha ʻae fua ʻo ʻenau ngoue.
36 He smote also all the first borne in their land, euen the beginning of all their strength.
Naʻa ne taaʻi foki ʻae ʻuluaki fānau kotoa pē ʻi honau fonua, ko e fungani ʻo ʻenau mālohi kotoa pē.
37 He brought them forth also with siluer and golde, and there was none feeble among their tribes.
Naʻa ne ʻomi foki ʻakinautolu mo e siliva mo e koula: pea naʻe ʻikai ai ha tokotaha naʻe vaivai ʻi honau ngaahi faʻahinga.
38 Egypt was glad at their departing: for the feare of them had fallen vpon them.
Naʻe fiefia ʻa ʻIsipite ʻi heʻenau ʻalu hē naʻe tō kiate kinautolu ʻae manavahē koeʻuhi ko kinautolu.
39 He spred a cloude to be a couering, and fire to giue light in the night.
Naʻa ne fofola ʻae ʻao ko e fakamalu pea mo e afi ke fakamaama ʻi he pō.
40 They asked, and he brought quailes, and he filled them with the bread of heauen.
Naʻe kole ʻe he kakai, pea naʻa ne ʻomi ʻae fanga manupuna, mo ne fakamākona ʻaki ʻakinautolu ʻae mā ʻoe langi.
41 He opened the rocke, and the waters flowed out, and ranne in the drye places like a riuer.
Naʻa ne fakaava ʻae maka, pea ʻoho mai ʻae ngaahi vai; pea naʻe tafe ia ʻi he ngaahi potu mōmoa ʻo hangē ko e vaitafe.
42 For he remembred his holy promise to Abraham his seruant,
He naʻa ne manatu ki heʻene talaʻofa māʻoniʻoni, mo ʻEpalahame ko ʻene tamaioʻeiki.
43 And he brought forth his people with ioy, and his chosen with gladnesse,
Pea ne ʻomi hono kakai ʻi he fiefia, mo kinautolu kuo ne fili ʻi he nekeneka:
44 And gaue them the lands of the heathen, and they tooke the labours of the people in possession,
Pea ne foaki kiate kinautolu ʻae ngaahi fonua ʻoe hiteni, pea naʻa nau maʻu ʻae ngāue ʻae kakai
45 That they might keepe his statutes, and obserue his Lawes. Prayse ye the Lord.
Koeʻuhi kenau tokanga ki heʻene ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni, mo tauhi ʻene ngaahi fekau. Mou fakamālō kia Sihova.
