Proverbs 3
1 My sonne, forget not thou my Lawe, but let thine heart keepe my commandements.
Сыне, моих законов не забывай, глаголы же моя да соблюдает твое сердце:
2 For they shall increase the length of thy dayes and the yeeres of life, and thy prosperitie.
долготу бо жития и лета жизни и мир приложат тебе.
3 Let not mercie and trueth forsake thee: binde them on thy necke, and write them vpon the table of thine heart.
Милостыни и вера да не оскудевают тебе: обложи же я на твоей выи и напиши я на скрижали сердца твоего: и обрящеши благодать.
4 So shalt thou finde fauour and good vnderstanding in the sight of God and man.
И промышляй добрая пред Господем (Богом) и человеки.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and leane not vnto thine owne wisdome.
Буди уповая всем сердцем на Бога, о твоей же премудрости не возносися:
6 In all thy wayes acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy wayes.
во всех путех твоих познавай ю, да исправляет пути твоя.
7 Be not wise in thine owne eyes: but feare the Lord, and depart from euill.
Не буди мудр о себе: бойся же Бога и уклоняйся от всякаго зла:
8 So health shalbe vnto thy nauel, and marowe vnto thy bones.
тогда изцеление будет телу твоему и уврачевание костем твоим.
9 Honour the Lord with thy riches, and with the first fruites of all thine increase.
Чти Господа от праведных твоих трудов и начатки давай ему от твоих плодов правды:
10 So shall thy barnes be filled with abundance, and thy presses shall burst with newe wine.
да исполнятся житницы твоя множеством пшеницы, вино же точила твоя да источают.
11 My sonne, refuse not the chastening of the Lord, neither be grieued with his correction.
Сыне, не пренебрегай наказания Господня, ниже ослабевай от Него обличаемь:
12 For the Lord correcteth him, whome he loueth, euen as the father doeth the childe in whom he deliteth.
егоже бо любит Господь, наказует, биет же всякаго сына, егоже приемлет.
13 Blessed is the man that findeth wisedome, and the man that getteth vnderstanding.
Блажен человек, иже обрете премудрость, и смертен, иже уведе разум.
14 For the marchandise thereof is better then the marchandise of siluer, and the gaine thereof is better then golde.
Лучше бо сию куповати, нежели злата и сребра сокровища:
15 It is more precious then pearles: and all things that thou canst desire, are not to be compared vnto her.
честнейша же есть камений многоценных: не сопротивляется ей ничтоже лукаво, благознатна есть всем приближающымся ей: всяко же честное недостойно ея есть.
16 Length of dayes is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and glory.
Долгота бо жития и лета жизни в деснице ея, в шуйце же ея богатство и слава: от уст ея исходит правда, закон же и милость на языце носит.
17 Her wayes are wayes of pleasure, and all her pathes prosperitie.
Путие ея путие добри, и вся стези ея мирны.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay holde on her, and blessed is he that retaineth her.
Древо живота есть всем держащымся ея, и воскланяющымся на ню, яко на Господа, тверда.
19 The Lord by wisdome hath layde the foundation of the earth, and hath stablished the heauens through vnderstanding.
Бог премудростию основа землю, уготова же небеса разумом:
20 By his knowledge the depthes are broken vp, and the cloudes droppe downe the dewe.
в чувстве Его бездны разверзошася, облацы же источиша росу.
21 My sonne, let not these things depart from thine eyes, but obserue wisdome, and counsell.
Сыне, да не преминеши, соблюди же мой совет и мысль:
22 So they shalbe life to thy soule, and grace vnto thy necke.
да жива будет душа твоя, и благодать будет на твоей выи: (будет же изцеление плотем твоим и уврачевание костем твоим: )
23 Then shalt thou walke safely by thy way: and thy foote shall not stumble.
да ходиши надеяся в мире во всех путех твоих, нога же твоя не поткнется.
24 If thou sleepest, thou shalt not bee afraide, and when thou sleepest, thy sleepe shalbe sweete.
Аще бо сядеши, безбоязнен будеши, аще же поспиши, сладостно поспиши.
25 Thou shalt not feare for any sudden feare, neither for the destruction of the wicked, when it commeth.
И не убоишися страха нашедшаго, ниже устремления нечестивых находящаго:
26 For the Lord shall be for thine assurance, and shall preserue thy foote from taking.
Господь бо будет на всех путех твоих и утвердит ногу твою, да не поползнешися.
27 Withhold not the good from the owners thereof, though there be power in thine hand to doe it.
Не отрецыся благотворити требующему, егда имать рука твоя помогати.
28 Say not vnto thy neighbour, Go and come againe, and to morow wil I giue thee, if thou now haue it.
Не рцы: отшед возвратися, и заутра дам, сильну ти сущу благотворити: не веси бо, что породит день находяй.
29 Intend none hurt against thy neighbour, seeing he doeth dwell without feare by thee.
Не соплетай на друга твоего зла, пришелца суща и уповающа на тя.
30 Striue not with a man causelesse, when he hath done thee no harme.
Не враждуй на человека туне, да не что на тя содеет злое.
31 Bee not enuious for the wicked man, neither chuse any of his wayes.
Не стяжи злых мужей поношения, ни возревнуй путем их.
32 For the frowarde is abomination vnto the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
Нечист бо пред Господем всяк законопреступник и с праведными не сочетавается.
33 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.
Клятва Господня в домех нечестивых, дворы же праведных благословляются.
34 With the scornefull he scorneth, but hee giueth grace vnto the humble.
Господь гордым противится, смиренным же дает благодать.
35 The wise shall inherite glorie: but fooles dishonour, though they be exalted.
Славу премудрии наследят, нечестивии же вознесоша безчестие.
