Proverbs 22
1 A good name is to be chosen aboue great riches, and louing fauour is aboue siluer and aboue golde.
১প্ৰচুৰ ধনতকৈয়ো সুনাম মনোনীত কৰা, সোণ আৰু ৰূপতকৈ অনুগ্ৰহ উত্তম।
2 The rich and poore meete together: the Lord is the maker of them all.
২ধনী আৰু দৰিদ্ৰ লোক উভয়ৰে মাজত কোনো পাৰ্থক্য নাই, তেওঁলোকৰ সকলোৰে সৃষ্টিকৰ্ত্তা যিহোৱা হয়।
3 A prudent man seeth the plague, and hideth himselfe: but the foolish goe on still, and are punished.
৩দূৰদৰ্শী লোকে বিপদ দেখা পায়, আৰু নিজকে লুকুৱাই ৰাখে; কিন্তু অশিক্ষিত লোক আগুৱাই যায়, আৰু তেওঁলোকে ইয়াৰ বাবে কষ্ট পায়।
4 The rewarde of humilitie, and the feare of God is riches, and glory, and life.
৪যিহোৱালৈ ৰখা ভয় নম্ৰতা, সম্পত্তি, আৰু জীৱনলৈ সন্মান আনে।
5 Thornes and snares are in the way of the frowarde: but he that regardeth his soule, will depart farre from them.
৫কুটিল লোকৰ পথত কাঁইট আৰু প্রৱঞ্চনাৰ ফান্দ থাকে; যিজনে নিজৰ আত্মা ৰক্ষা কৰে, তেওঁ সেইবোৰৰ পৰা দূৰত থাকে।
6 Teache a childe in the trade of his way, and when he is olde, he shall not depart from it.
৬সন্তানক তাৰ চলিবলগীয়া পথ অনুসাৰে শিক্ষা দিয়া, তাতে তেওঁ প্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক হ’লেও তেওঁ তাৰ পৰা ঘূৰি নাহিব।
7 The rich ruleth the poore, and the borower is seruant to the man that lendeth.
৭ধনী লোকে দৰিদ্ৰ লোকৰ ওপৰত শাসন কৰে, আৰু যিজনে ধাৰ লয়, তেওঁ ধাৰ দিয়া জনৰ দাস হয়।
8 He that soweth iniquitie, shall reape affliction, and the rodde of his anger shall faile.
৮যি জনে দুষ্টতাৰ গুটি সিচেঁ, তেওঁ সমস্যাৰ শস্য দাব; আৰু তেওঁৰ ক্ৰোধৰ লাঠি ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা নহ’ব।
9 He that hath a good eye, he shalbe blessed: for he giueth of his bread vnto the poore.
৯উদাৰ দৃষ্টিৰ লোক আশীৰ্ব্বাদপ্রাপ্ত হ’ব, কাৰণ তেওঁ দৰিদ্ৰৰ সৈতে নিজৰ আহাৰ ভাগ কৰে।
10 Cast out the scorner, and strife shall go out: so contention and reproche shall cease.
১০নিন্দকক উলিয়াই পঠোৱা, তেতিয়া তাত আৰু বিবাদ নহ’ব, এনে কি বিৰোধ আৰু অপমানো নহ’ব।
11 Hee that loueth purenesse of heart for the grace of his lippes, the King shalbe his friend.
১১যিজনে শুদ্ধ হৃদয় ভাল পায়, আৰু যাৰ কথা অমায়িক, তেওঁৰ বন্ধুৰ বাবে তেওঁৰ এজন ৰজা হ’ব।
12 The eyes of the Lord preserue knowledge: but hee ouerthroweth the wordes of the transgressour.
১২যিহোৱাৰ চকুৱে জ্ঞানৰ ওপৰত দৃষ্টি ৰাখে; কিন্তু তেওঁ বিশ্বাসঘাতকৰ কথা উৎখাত কৰে।
13 The slouthfull man saith, A lyon is without, I shall be slaine in the streete.
১৩এলেহুৱাই কয়, “বাটত এটা সিংহ আছে! মুকলি ঠাইত মোক বধ কৰিব।”
14 The mouth of strage women is as a deepe pit: he with whom the Lord is angry, shall fall therein.
১৪ব্যভিচাৰিণীৰ মুখ দ’ গাতৰ দৰে; যি কোনোৱে সেই গাতত পৰিব তেওঁৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যিহোৱাৰ ক্রোধ প্রজ্বলিত হ’ব।
15 Foolishnesse is bounde in the heart of a childe: but the rodde of correction shall driue it away from him.
১৫সন্তানৰ হৃদয়ত মুৰ্খতা আৱদ্ধ হৈ থাকে; কিন্তু চেকনীৰ অনুশাসনে তাক তাৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰে।
16 Hee that oppresseth the poore to increase him selfe, and giueth vnto the riche, shall surely come to pouertie.
১৬নিজৰ ধন বৃদ্ধি কৰিবলৈ দৰিদ্ৰ লোকক উপদ্ৰৱ কৰা জন, বা ধনী লোকক দান দিয়া জন, দৰিদ্ৰ হ’ব।
17 Incline thine eare, and heare the wordes of the wise, and apply thine heart vnto my knowledge.
১৭জ্ঞানী লোকৰ কথা শুনা; আৰু মনোযোগ দিয়া; আৰু মোৰ জ্ঞানৰ কথাত তোমাৰ হৃদয় মনোনিবেশ কৰা।
18 For it shalbe pleasant, if thou keepe them in thy bellie, and if they be directed together in thy lippes.
১৮কাৰণ তুমি যদি সেইবোৰক তোমাৰ অন্তৰত ৰাখা, আৰু যদি সেই সকলোবোৰ তোমাৰ ওঁঠত থাকে, তেনেহ’লে সেয়ে তোমাৰ বাবে সুখজনক হ’ব।
19 That thy confidence may be in the Lord, I haue shewed thee this day: thou therefore take heede.
১৯সেয়ে তোমাৰ বিশ্বাস যাতে যিহোৱাত হ’ব পাৰে, মই আজি সেইবোৰ তোমাক শিকালোঁ, এনে কি কেৱল তোমাকেই এই সকলো শিকালোঁ।
20 Haue not I written vnto thee three times in counsels and knowledge,
২০পৰামৰ্শ আৰু জ্ঞানৰ বিষয়ে মই তোমাৰ বাবে ত্রিশটা নীতিবচন লিখা নাই নে?
21 That I might shewe thee the assurance of the wordes of trueth to answere the wordes of trueth to them that sende to thee?
২১তোমাক বিশ্বাসযোগ্য বাক্যৰ সত্যতাক শিকালোঁ, যাতে তোমাক পঠোৱা সকলক তুমি বিশ্বাসযোগ্য উত্তৰ দিব পাৰা।
22 Robbe not the poore, because hee is poore, neither oppresse the afflicted in iudgement.
২২দৰিদ্ৰ লোকৰ বস্তু কাঢ়ি নলবা, কিয়নো তেওঁ দৰিদ্র; বা দুৱাৰত থকা অভাবি লোকক দমন নকৰিবা।
23 For the Lord will defende their cause, and spoyle the soule of those that spoyle them.
২৩কিয়নো যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকৰ অভিযোগৰ প্ৰতিবাদ কৰিব, আৰু যি সকলে তেওঁলোকৰ বস্তু কাঢ়ি লয়, তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ জীৱন কাঢ়ি ল’ব।
24 Make no friendship with an angrie man, neither goe with the furious man,
২৪যিজনে ক্রোধেৰে শাসন কৰে, তেওঁৰ সৈতে বন্ধুত্ব নকৰিবা, আৰু ক্ৰোধী লোকৰ সৈতে তুমি যোৱা উচিত নহয়;
25 Least thou learne his wayes, and receiue destruction to thy soule.
২৫নহ’লে তুমি তেওঁৰ আচৰণ শিকিবা, আৰু তুমি নিজকে নিজে ফান্দত পেলাবা।
26 Be not thou of them that touch the hand, nor among them that are suretie for debts.
২৬ধনৰ বিষয়ে প্ৰতিজ্ঞা কৰা জনৰ দৰে নহবা, আৰু তুমি অন্য লোকৰ ধাৰৰ বাবে জামিনদাৰ হোৱা উচিত নহয়।
27 If thou hast nothing to paye, why causest thou that he should take thy bed from vnder thee?
২৭যদি ধাৰ শুজিবলৈ তোমাৰ উপায় নাথাকে, তেনেহ’লে তোমাৰ শোৱাপাটি তোমাৰ পৰা তেওঁ লৈ যোৱাত কিহে বাধা দিব পাৰিব?
28 Thou shalt not remooue the ancient bounds which thy fathers haue made.
২৮তোমাৰ পিতৃয়ে স্থাপন কৰা, পূৰ্বৰ সীমাৰ শিল নুগুচাবা।
29 Thou seest that a diligent man in his businesse standeth before Kings, and standeth not before the base sort.
২৯নিজৰ কামত নিপুন থকা লোকক তুমি দেখিছা নে? তেওঁ ৰজাৰ আগত থিয় হ’ব, তেওঁ সৰ্ব্বসাধাৰণ লোকৰ আগত থিয় নহ’ব।
