Numbers 27
1 Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the sonne of Hepher, the sonne of Gilead, the sonne of Machir, the sonne of Manasseh, of the familie of Manasseh, the sonne of Ioseph (and the names of his daughters were these, Mahlah, Noah and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah)
Und die Töchter Zelaphehads, des Sohns Hephers, des Sohns Gileads, des Sohns Machirs, des Sohns Manasses unter den Geschlechtern Manasses, des Sohns Josephs, mit Namen Mahela, Noa, Hagla, Milka und Thirza, kamen herzu
2 And stoode before Moses, and before Eleazar the Priest, and before the Princes, and all the assemblie, at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, saying,
und traten vor Mose und vor Eleasar, den Priester, und vor die Fürsten und ganze Gemeine vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts und sprachen:
3 Our father dyed in the wildernes, and he was not among the assemblie of them that were assembled against the Lord in the companie of Korah, but died in his sinne, and had no sonnes.
Unser Vater ist gestorben in der Wüste und war nicht mit unter der Gemeine, die sich wider den HERRN empörten in der Rotte Korahs, sondern ist an seiner Sünde gestorben und hatte keine Söhne.
4 Wherefore should the name of our father be taken away from among his familie, because he hath no sonne? giue vs a possession among the brethren of our father.
Warum soll denn unsers Vaters Name unter seinem Geschlecht untergehen, ob er wohl keinen Sohn hat? Gebet uns auch ein Gut unter unsers Vaters Brüdern!
5 Then Moses brought their cause before the Lord.
Mose brachte ihre Sache vor den HERRN.
6 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Und der HERR sprach zu ihm:
7 The daughters of Zelophehad speake right: thou shalt giue them a possession to inherite among their fathers brethren, and shalt turne the inheritance of their father vnto them.
Die Töchter Zelaphehads haben recht geredet; du sollst ihnen ein Erbgut unter ihres Vaters Brüdern geben und sollst ihres Vaters Erbe ihnen zuwenden.
8 Also thou shalt speake vnto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die and haue no sonne, then ye shall turne his inheritaunce vnto his daughter.
Und sage den Kindern Israel: Wenn jemand stirbt und hat nicht Söhne, so sollt ihr sein Erbe seiner Tochter zuwenden.
9 And if he haue no daughter, ye shall giue his inheritance vnto his brethren.
Hat er keine Tochter, sollt ihr's seinen Brüdern geben.
10 And if he haue no brethren, ye shall giue his inheritance vnto his fathers brethren.
Hat er keine Brüder, sollt ihr's seinen Vettern geben.
11 And if his father haue no brethren, ye shall giue his inheritance vnto his next kinsman of his familie, and he shall possesse it: and this shall be vnto the children of Israel a law of iudgement, as the Lord hath commanded Moses.
Hat er nicht Vettern, sollt ihr's seinen nächsten Freunden geben, die ihm angehören in seinem Geschlecht, daß sie es einnehmen. Das soll den Kindern Israel ein Gesetz und Recht sein, wie der HERR Mose geboten hat.
12 Againe the Lord said vnto Moses, Go vp into this mount of Abarim, and behold ye lande which I haue giuen vnto the children of Israel.
Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Steige auf dies Gebirge Abarim und besiehe das Land, das ich den Kindern Israel geben werde.
13 And when thou hast seene it, thou shalt be gathered vnto thy people also, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.
Und wenn du es gesehen hast, sollst du dich sammeln zu deinem Volk, wie dein Bruder Aaron versammelt ist,
14 For ye were disobedient vnto my worde in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the assemblie, to sanctifie me in the waters before their eyes. That is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wildernesse of Zin.
dieweil ihr meinem Wort ungehorsam gewesen seid in der Wüste Zin über dem Hader der Gemeine, da ihr mich heiligen solltet durch das Wasser vor ihnen. Das ist das Haderwasser zu Kades in der Wüste Zin.
15 Then Moses spake vnto the Lord, saying,
Und Mose redete mit dem HERRN und sprach:
16 Let the Lord God of the spirits of all flesh appoint a man ouer the Congregation,
Der HERR, der Gott über alles lebendige Fleisch, wolle einen Mann setzen über die Gemeine,
17 Who may goe out and in before them, and leade them out and in, that the Congregation of the Lord be not as sheepe, which haue not a shepheard.
der vor ihnen her aus und ein gehe und sie aus und ein führe, daß die Gemeine des HERRN nicht sei wie die Schafe ohne Hirten.
18 And the Lord said vnto Moses, Take thee Ioshua the sonne of Nun, in whom is the Spirite, and put thine handes vpon him,
Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Nimm Josua zu dir, den Sohn Nuns, der ein Mann ist, in dem der Geist ist, und lege deine Hände auf ihn;
19 And set him before Eleazar the Priest, and before all the Congregation, and giue him a charge in their sight.
und stelle ihn vor den Priester Eleasar und vor die ganze Gemeine und gebeut ihm vor ihren Augen;
20 And giue him of thy glory, that all the Congregation of ye children of Israel may obey.
und lege deine HERRLIchkeit auf ihn, daß ihm gehorche die ganze Gemeine der Kinder Israel.
21 And he shall stande before Eleazar the Priest, who shall aske counsell for him by the iudgement of Vrim before the Lord: at his worde they shall goe out, and at his worde they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him and all the Congregation.
Und er soll treten vor den Priester Eleasar, der soll für ihn ratfragen durch die Weise des Lichts vor dem HERRN. Nach desselben Mund sollen aus- und einziehen beide er und alle Kinder Israel mit ihm und die ganze Gemeine.
22 So Moses did as the Lord had commanded him, and he tooke Ioshua, and set him before Eleazar the Priest, and before all the Congregation.
Mose wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, und nahm Josua und stellete ihn vor den Priester Eleasar und vor die ganze Gemeine;
23 Then he put his handes vpon him, and gaue him a charge, as the Lord had spoken by the hand of Moses.
und legte seine Hand auf ihn und gebot ihm, wie der HERR mit Mose geredet hatte.
