Nehemiah 12
1 These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,
Desse äro de Prester och Leviter, som uppdrogo med Serubbabel, Sealthiels son, och Jesua: Seraja, Jeremia, Esra,
2 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
Amaria, Malluch, Hattus,
3 Shecaniah, Rehum, Merimoth,
Sechania, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 Iddo, Ginnetho, Abiiah,
Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abia,
5 Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
Mijamin, Maadia, Bilga,
6 Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,
Semaja, Jojarib, Jedaja,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkia och Jedaja. Desse voro hufvuden ibland Presterna, och deras bröder i Jesua tid.
8 And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
Men Leviterna voro desse: Jesua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Serebia, Juda och Mattania, öfver tackämbetet, han och hans bröder.
9 And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.
Bakbukia och Unni, deras bröder, voro omkring dem i vakt.
10 And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.
Jesua födde Jojakim. Jojakim födde Eljasib. Eljasib födde Jojada.
11 And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,
Jojada födde Jonathan. Jonathan födde Jaddua.
12 And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,
Och i Jojakims tid voro desse öfverste fäder ibland Presterna, nämliga af Seraja var Meraja; af Jeremia var Hanania;
13 Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,
Af Esra var Mesullam; af Amaria var Johanan;
14 Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,
Af Malluch var Jonathan; af Sebania var Joseph;
15 Vnder Harim, Adna, vnder Maraioth, Helkai,
Af Harim var Adna; af Merajoth var Helkai;
16 Vnder Iddo, Zechariah, vnder Ginnithon, Meshullam,
Af Iddo var Zacharia; af Ginnethon var Mesullam;
17 Vnder Abiiah, Zichri, vnder Miniamin, and vnder Moadiah, Piltai,
Af Abia var Sichri; af MinjaminMoadia var Piltai;
18 Vnder Bilgah, Shammua, vnder Shemaiah, Iehonathan,
Af Bilga var Sammua; af Semaja var Jonathan;
19 Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,
Af Jojarib var Mattenai; af Jedaja var Ussi;
20 Vnder Sallai, Kallai, vnder Amok, Eber,
Af Sallai var Kallai; af Amok var Eber;
21 Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.
Af Hilkia var Hasabia; af Jedaja var Nethaneel.
22 In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
Och i Eljasibs tid, Jojada, Johanan och Jaddua, vordo öfverste fäderna ibland Leviterna och Presterna beskrifne, under Darios, den Persens rike.
23 The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.
Men Levi barn, öfverste fäderna vordo beskrifne i Chrönicon, allt intill Johanans tid, Eljasibs sons.
24 And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.
Och desse voro öfverstarne i Leviterna: Hasabia, Serebia och Jesua, Kadmiels son; och deras bröder jemte dem, till att lofva och tacka, såsom den Guds mannen David det budit hade, den ena vakten vid den andra.
25 Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.
Mattania, Bakbukia, Obadja, Mesullam, Talmon och Akkub, voro dörravaktare i vaktene vid dörrena i portomen.
26 These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.
Desse voro i Jojakims tid, Jesua sons, Jozadaks sons; och i Nehemia den landshöfdingans, och Prestens Esra den Skriftlärdas tid.
27 And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.
Och uti murens vigning i Jerusalem sökte man Leviterna utur all deras rum, att man skulle hafva dem till Jerusalem, till att hålla vigning med glädje, med tacksägelse, med sång, med cymbaler, psaltare och harpor.
28 Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
Och sig församlade sångarenas barn, och af den ängden omkring Jerusalem, och af Netophati byar,
29 And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.
Och af Gilgals hus, och af den mark i Geba, och Asmaveth; förty sångarena hade byggt sig byar omkring Jerusalem.
30 And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
Och Presterna och Leviterna renade sig, och renade folket, portarna och muren.
31 And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.
Och jag lät Juda Förstar stiga upp på muren, och beställde två stora tackchorar; de gingo åstad, den ene på högra sidone ofvan uppå murenom, åt dyngoporten;
32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,
Och efter dem gick Hosaja, och hälften af Juda Förstar,
33 And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,
Och Asaria, Esra, Mesullam,
34 Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,
Juda, BenJamin, Semaja och Jeremia;
35 And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.
Och någre af Prestabarnen med trummeter, nämliga Zacharia, Jonathans son, Semaja sons, Mattania sons, Michaja sons, Saccurs sons, Assaphs sons;
36 And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.
Och hans bröder, Semaja, Asareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel och Juda, Hanani med den Guds mansens Davids strängaspel; men Esra den Skriftlärde för dem.
37 And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.
Och vid brunnporten, gentöfver dem, gingo de på trappomen åt Davids stad, uppåt muren om Davids hus, allt intill vattuporten östantill.
38 And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.
Den andre tackchoren gick tvärsifrå dem, och jag efter honom, och hälften af folket, utåt murenom uppåt ugnatornet, allt intill den breda muren;
39 And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.
Och uppåt Ephraims port, och till gamla porten, och till fiskaporten, och till Hananeels torn, och till Mea torn, allt intill fåraporten; och blefvo ståndande i fängelseportenom.
40 So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.
Och stodo alltså de två tackchorer uti Guds huse, och jag, och hälften af öfverstarna med mig;
41 The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
Och Presterna, nämliga Eljakim, Maaseja, Minjamin, Michaja, Eljoenai, Zacharia, Hanania, med trummeter;
42 And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.
Och Maaseja, Semaja, Eleasar, Ussi, Johanan, Malchija, Elam och Eser; och sångarena söngo högt; och Jisrahja var föreståndaren.
43 And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.
Och stor offer vordo offrad på den samma dagen, och de voro glade; ty Gud hade gjort dem en stor glädje, så att både qvinnor och barn fröjdade sig; och Jerusalems glädje hördes långan väg.
44 Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.
På den tiden vordo män förskickade öfver skattkistona, der häfoffer, förstling och tiond uti var, att de skulle samka tillhopa af åkromen omkring städerna, till att utdela efter lagen för Prester och Leviter; ty Juda hade en glädje af Presterna och Leviterna, att de stodo.
45 And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.
Och de höllo sins Guds vakt, och reningenes vakt; och sångarena och dörravaktarena stodo efter Davids och hans sons Salomos bud.
46 For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.
Förty i Davids och Assaphs tid vordo stiktade öfverste sångare, och lofsånger, och tacksägningar till Gud.
47 And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
Men hele Israel gaf sångarena och dörravaktarena delar uti Serubbabels och Nehemia tid, hvar dagen sin del. Och de gåfvo af det helgada Levitomen; och Leviterna gåfvo Aarons barnom af det helgada.
