Nehemiah 12
1 These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,
Now estes são os sacerdotes e os levitas que subiram com Zerubbabel, filho de Shealtiel, e Jeshua: Seraías, Jeremias, Esdras,
2 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,

6 Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,
Shemaiah, Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, e Jedaiah. Estes eram os chefes dos sacerdotes e de seus irmãos nos dias de Jeshua.
8 And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
Moreover os levitas eram Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, e Mattaniah, que já tinha superado as canções de ação de graças, ele e seus irmãos.
9 And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.
Also Bakbukiah e Unno, seus irmãos, estavam próximos a eles, de acordo com seus escritórios.
10 And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.
Jeshua tornou-se o pai de Joiakim, e Joiakim tornou-se o pai de Eliashib, e Eliashib tornou-se o pai de Joiada,
11 And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,
e Joiada tornou-se o pai de Jonathan, e Jonathan tornou-se o pai de Jaddua.
12 And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,
Nos dias de Joiakim eram sacerdotes, chefes de família dos pais: de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremias, Hananiah;
13 Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,
of Ezra, Meshullam; de Amariah, Jehohananan;
14 Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,
de Malluchi, Jonathan; de Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 Vnder Harim, Adna, vnder Maraioth, Helkai,
of Harim, Adna; de Meraioth, Helkai;
16 Vnder Iddo, Zechariah, vnder Ginnithon, Meshullam,

17 Vnder Abiiah, Zichri, vnder Miniamin, and vnder Moadiah, Piltai,

19 Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,
of Joiarib, Mattenai; de Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 Vnder Sallai, Kallai, vnder Amok, Eber,
of Sallai, Kallai; de Amok, Eber;
21 Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.
of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; de Jedaiah, Nethanel.
22 In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
Quanto aos levitas, nos dias de Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan e Jaddua, foram registrados os chefes de família dos pais; também os sacerdotes, no reinado de Dario, o persa.
23 The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.
Os filhos de Levi, chefes de família dos pais, foram escritos no livro das crônicas, mesmo até os dias de Johananan, filho de Eliashib.
24 And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.
Os chefes dos levitas: Hasabias, Serebias e Jeshua, filho de Kadmiel, com seus irmãos próximos, para louvar e agradecer de acordo com o mandamento de Davi, o homem de Deus, seção ao lado da seção.
25 Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.
Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon e Akkub eram porteiros que vigiavam os armazéns dos portões.
26 These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.
Estes eram nos dias de Joiakim o filho de Jeshua, o filho de Jozadak, e nos dias de Neemias o governador, e de Esdras o sacerdote e escriba.
27 And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.
Na dedicação do muro de Jerusalém, eles procuraram os Levitas fora de todos os seus lugares, para trazê-los a Jerusalém para manter a dedicação com alegria, tanto com agradecimentos como com cantos, com címbalos, instrumentos de cordas e com harpas.
28 Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
Os filhos dos cantores se reuniram, tanto da planície ao redor de Jerusalém como das aldeias dos netofatitas;
29 And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.
também de Beth Gilgal e dos campos de Geba e Azmaveth, pois os cantores tinham construído aldeias ao redor de Jerusalém.
30 And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
Os sacerdotes e os levitas se purificaram; e purificaram o povo, os portões e o muro.
31 And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.
Então eu trouxe os príncipes de Judá para cima do muro, e nomeei duas grandes empresas que deram graças e foram em procissão. Uma foi pela direita no muro em direção ao portão do esterco;
32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,
e depois delas foi Hosaías, com metade dos príncipes de Judá,
33 And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,
e Azarias, Esdras e Mesulão,
34 Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,
Judá, Benjamim, Semaías, Jeremias,
35 And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.
e alguns dos filhos dos sacerdotes com trombetas: Zacarias, filho de Jonathan, filho de Semaías, filho de Matanias, filho de Micaías, filho de Zacur, filho de Asafe;
36 And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.
e seus irmãos, Semaías, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judá e Hanani, com os instrumentos musicais de Davi, o homem de Deus; e Esdras, o escriba, estava diante deles.
37 And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.
Junto ao portão da fonte, e diretamente diante deles, eles subiram as escadas da cidade de Davi, na subida do muro, acima da casa de Davi, até o portão de água para o leste.
38 And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.
A outra empresa dos que deram graças foi ao encontro deles, e eu depois deles, com a metade do povo na parede acima da torre dos fornos, até a parede larga,
39 And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.
e acima do portão de Efraim, e pelo portão velho, e pelo portão dos peixes, a torre de Hananel, e a torre de Hammeah, até o portão das ovelhas; e eles ficaram parados no portão da guarda.
40 So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.
Assim ficaram as duas empresas daqueles que deram graças na casa de Deus, e eu e a metade dos governantes comigo;
41 The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
e os sacerdotes, Eliakim, Maaséias, Miniamin, Micaías, Elioenai, Zacarias e Hananias, com trombetas;
42 And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.
e Maaséias, Semaías, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam e Ezer. Os cantores cantaram em voz alta, com Jezrahiah seu superintendente.
43 And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.
Eles ofereceram grandes sacrifícios naquele dia, e se alegraram, pois Deus os tinha feito alegrar-se com grande alegria; e as mulheres e as crianças também se alegraram, de modo que a alegria de Jerusalém foi ouvida mesmo longe.
44 Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.
Naquele dia, foram designados homens sobre as salas para os tesouros, para as ofertas das ondas, para as primícias e para os dízimos, para recolher nelas, de acordo com os campos das cidades, as porções designadas pela lei para os sacerdotes e levitas; para Judá regozijou-se pelos sacerdotes e pelos levitas que serviram.
45 And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.
Eles cumpriram o dever de seu Deus e o dever da purificação, assim como os cantores e os porteiros, de acordo com o mandamento de Davi e de Salomão, seu filho.
46 For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.
Pois nos dias de Davi e Asafe de outrora havia um chefe dos cantores, e canções de louvor e agradecimento a Deus.
47 And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
Todo Israel nos dias de Zorobabel e nos dias de Neemias dava as porções dos cantores e dos porteiros, como todos os dias era necessário; e eles separavam o que era para os levitas; e os levitas separavam o que era para os filhos de Aarão.
