Nehemiah 11
1 And the rulers of the people dwelt in Ierusalem: the other people also cast lottes, to bring one out of ten to dwel in Ierusalem the holy citie, and nine partes to be in the cities.
Para pemimpin bangsa menetap di Yerusalem, sedang orang-orang lain membuang undi untuk menentukan satu dari sepuluh orang yang harus menetap di Yerusalem, kota yang kudus itu, sedang yang sembilan orang lagi tinggal di kota-kota yang lain.
2 And the people thanked all the men that were willing to dwell in Ierusalem.
Orang-orang memuji setiap orang yang rela menetap di Yerusalem.
3 These now are the chiefe of the prouince, that dwelt in Ierusalem, but in the cities of Iudah, euery one dwelt in his owne possession in their cities of Israel, the Priestes and the Leuites, and the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants.
Inilah kepala-kepala propinsi Yehuda yang menetap di Yerusalem, sedang di kota-kota di Yehuda setiap orang, yakni orang-orang Israel awam, para imam, orang-orang Lewi, para budak di bait Allah dan keturunan para hamba Salomo, tinggal di tanah miliknya, di kotanya sendiri.
4 And in Ierusalem dwelt certaine of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin. Of the sonnes of Iudah, Athaiah, the sonne of Vziiah, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Mahaleel, of the sonnes of Perez,
Di Yerusalem tinggal orang-orang dari bani Yehuda dan bani Benyamin. Dari anak-anak Yehuda: Ataya bin Uzia bin Zakharia bin Amarya bin Sefaca bin Mahalaleel dari bani Peres,
5 And Maaseiah the sonne of Baruch, the sonne of Col Hozeh, the sonne of Hazaiah, the sonne of Adaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Shiloni.
dan Maaseya bin Barukh bin Kolhoze bin Hazaya bin Adaya bin Yoyarib bin Zakharia keturunan orang Syela.
6 All the sonnes of Perez that dwelt at Ierusalem, were foure hundreth, three score and eight valiant men.
Semua bani Peres yang tinggal di Yerusalem berjumlah empat ratus enam puluh delapan orang yang gagah perkasa.
7 These also are the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Ioed, the sonne of Pedaiah, the sonne of Kolaiah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ithiel, the sonne of Ieshaiah.
Dan inilah bani Benyamin: Salu bin Mesulam bin Yoed bin Pedaya bin Kolaya bin Maaseya bin Itiel bin Yesaya.
8 And after him Gabai, Sallai, nine hundreth and twentie and eight.
Dan sesudah dia: Gabai, Salai: sembilan ratus dua puluh delapan orang.
9 And Ioel the sonne of Zichri was gouernour ouer them: and Iudah, the sonne of Senuah was the second ouer the citie:
Yoel bin Zikhri adalah pengawas mereka, sedang Yehuda bin Hasenua adalah wakil penguasa kota.
10 Of the Priestes, Iedaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, Iachin.
Dari para imam: Yedaya bin Yoyarib, Yakhin,
11 Seraiah, the sonne of Hilkiah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub was chiefe of the house of God.
Seraya bin Hilkia bin Mesulam bin Zadok bin Merayot bin Ahitub, pemuka rumah Allah,
12 And their brethren that did the worke in the Temple, were eight hundreth, twenty and two: and Adaiah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Pelaliah, the sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiah:
dan saudara-saudara mereka yang bertugas di rumah itu: delapan ratus dua puluh dua orang. Pula Adaya bin Yeroham bin Pelalya bin Amzi bin Zakharia bin Pasyhur bin Malkia
13 And his brethren, chiefe of the fathers, two hundreth and two and fourtie: and Amashsai the sonne of Azareel, the sonne of Ahazai, the sonne of Meshilemoth, the sonne of Immer:
dan saudara-saudaranya, kepala-kepala kaum keluarga: dua ratus empat puluh dua orang. Dan Amasai bin Asareel bin Ahzai bin Mesilemot bin Imer,
14 And their brethren valiant men, an hundreth and eight and twentie: and their ouerseer was Zabdiel the sonne of Hagedolim.
dan saudara-saudara mereka, pahlawan-pahlawan yang gagah perkasa, seratus dua puluh delapan orang dengan Zabdiel bin Gedolim sebagai pengawas mereka.
15 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah, the sonne of Hashub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Bunni.
Dari orang-orang Lewi: Semaya bin Hasub bin Azrikam bin Hasabya bin Buni.
16 And Shabbethai, and Iozabad of the chiefe of the Leuites were ouer the workes of the house of God without.
Pula Sabetai dan Yozabad, kepala-kepala orang-orang Lewi, yang mengawasi pekerjaan di luar rumah Allah.
17 And Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zabdi, the sonne of Asaph was the chiefe to begin the thankesgiuing and prayer: and Bakbukiah the second of his brethren, and Abda, the sonne of Shammua, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun.
Lalu Matanya bin Mikha bin Zabdi bin Asaf, pemimpin yang mengangkat nyanyian syukur dalam doa, dan Bakbukya, orang kedua di antara saudara-saudaranya, dan Abda bin Samua bin Galal bin Yedutun.
18 All the Leuites in the holy citie were two hundreth foure score and foure.
Semua orang Lewi di kota kudus ada dua ratus delapan puluh empat orang.
19 And the porters Akkub, Talmon and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundreth twentie and two.
Para penunggu pintu gerbang: Akub dan Talmon dengan saudara-saudara mereka yang mengadakan penjagaan di pintu-pintu gerbang, berjumlah seratus tujuh puluh dua orang.
20 And the residue of Israel, of the Priests, and of the Leuites dwelt in al the cities of Iudah, euery one in his inheritance.
Selebihnya dari orang-orang Israel awam dan dari para imam dan orang-orang Lewi ada di semua kota Yehuda, masing-masing di tanah pusakanya.
21 And the Nethinims dwelt in the fortresse, and Ziha, and Gispa was ouer the Nethinims.
Tetapi para budak di bait Allah tinggal di Ofel. Ziha dan Gispa adalah pemimpin para budak di bait Allah itu.
22 And the ouerseer of the Leuites in Ierusalem was Vzzi the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Ashabiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha: of the sonnes of Asaph singers were ouer the worke of the house of God.
Pengawas orang-orang Lewi di Yerusalem adalah Uzi bin Bani bin Hasabya bin Matanya bin Mikha dari bani Asaf, yakni para penyanyi yang menyanyi sementara berlangsung kebaktian di rumah Allah.
23 For it was the Kings commandement cocerning them, that faithfull prouision shoulde bee for the singers euery day.
Karena mengenai mereka ada perintah raja yang menetapkan peraturan untuk para penyanyi menurut keperluan setiap hari.
24 And Pethahiah the sonne of Meshezabeel, of the sonnes of Zerah, the sonne of Iudah was at the Kings hand in all matters concerning the people.
Petahya bin Mesezabeel dari bani Zerah bin Yehuda diperbantukan kepada raja untuk segala urusan mengenai bangsa itu.
25 And in the villages in their landes, some of the children of Iudah dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and in Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and in Iekabzeel. and in the villages thereof,
Tentang tempat-tempat kediaman di daerah perladangan, sebagian dari bani Yehuda tinggal di Kiryat-Arba dan segala anak kotanya, di Dibon dan segala anak kotanya dan di Yekabzeel dan desa-desanya;
26 And in Ieshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth palet,
di Yesua, di Molada dan Bet-Pelet,
27 And in Hazer-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,
di Hazar-Sual, di Bersyeba dan segala anak kotanya,
28 And in Ziklag, and in Mechonah, and in the villages thereof,
di Ziklag, di Mekhona dan segala anak kotanya,
29 And in En-rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Iarmuth,
di En-Rimon, Zora, Yarmut,
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, in Lachish, and in the fieldes thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof: and they dwelt from Beer-sheba, vnto the valley of Hinnom.
Zanoah, Adulam dan desa-desanya, di Lakhis dan ladang-ladangnya, dan di Azeka dan segala anak kotanya. Demikianlah mereka berkampung dari Bersyeba sampai lebak Hinom.
31 And the sonnes of Beniamin from Geba, in Michmash, and Aiia, and Beth-el, and in the villages thereof,
Dan bani Benyamin tinggal mulai dari Geba, di Mikhmas, di Aya, di Betel dan segala anak kotanya,
32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
di Anatot, Nob dan Ananya,
33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
di Hazor, Rama dan Gitaim,
34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebalat,
di Hadid, Zeboim dan Nebalat,
35 Lod and Ono, in the carpenters valley.
di Lod dan di Ono, Lembah Tukang-tukang.
36 And of the Leuites were diuisions in Iudah and in Beniamin.
Beberapa rombongan orang Lewi dari Yehuda bergabung dengan orang Benyamin.
