Micah 3
1 And I sayd, Heare, I pray you, O heads of Iaakob, and yee princes of the house of Israel: should not ye knowe iudgement?
Und ich sprach: Hört doch, ihr Häupter Jakobs und ihr Gebieter des Hauses Israel! Ist's nicht an euch, das heilige Recht zu kennen?
2 But they hate the good, and loue the euill: they plucke off their skinnes from them, and their flesh from their bones.
Sie aber lassen das Gute dahinten und ziehen das Böse vor, reißen den Leuten die Haut vom Leibe und das Fleisch von den Knochen.
3 And they eate also the flesh of my people, and flay off their skinne from them, and they breake their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
Sie nähren sich von dem Fleische meines Volks; sie ziehen ihnen die Haut vom Leibe und zerbrechen ihnen die Knochen, zerlegen sie wie einen Braten im Topf, wie Fleisch im Kessel.
4 Then shall they crye vnto the Lord, but he will not heare them: he wil euen hide his face from them at that time, because they haue done wickedly in their workes.
Dann werden sie zu Jahwe schreien, aber er wird sie nicht erhören und wird sein Angesicht vor ihnen verbergen in jener Zeit, dieweil sie schlimme Thaten verübt haben.
5 Thus saith the Lord, Concerning the prophets that deceiue my people, and bite them with their teeth, and cry peace, but if a man put not into their mouthes, they prepare warre against him,
So spricht Jahwe wider die Propheten, die mein Volk in die Irre geführt haben, die, wenn ihre Zähne zu beißen haben, “Heil!” rufen, aber gegen den, der ihnen nichts in den Mund giebt, den Krieg erklären.
6 Therefore night shalbe vnto you for a vision, and darkenesse shalbe vnto you for a diuination, and the sunne shall goe downe ouer the prophets, and the day shalbe darke ouer them.
Darum soll euch Nacht ohne Gesichte werden und Finsternis, daß ihr nicht wahrsagen könnt; die Sonne soll den Propheten untergehen, und der Tag sich ihnen verfinstern.
7 Then shall the Seers bee ashamed, and the southsayers confounded: yea, they shall all couer their lippes, for they haue none answere of God.
Da werden dann die Seher zu Schanden werden, und die Wahrsager sich schämen müssen; sie alle werden ihren Bart verhüllen, denn die göttliche Antwort bleibt aus!
8 Yet notwithstanding I am full of power by the Spirite of the Lord, and of iudgement, and of strength to declare vnto Iaakob his transgression, and to Israel his sinne.
Dagegen bin ich mit Kraft erfüllt, nämlich mit dem Geiste Jahwes, und mit Recht und Stärke, um Jakob seinen Abfall kund zu thun und Israel seine Sünde.
9 Heare this, I pray you, ye heades of the house of Iaakob, and princes of the house of Israel: they abhorre iudgement, and peruert all equitie.
Hört doch dieses, ihr Häupter des Hauses Jakob und ihr Gebieter des Hauses Israel, die ihr das Recht verabscheut und alles Gerade krumm macht,
10 They build vp Zion with blood, and Ierusalem with iniquitie.
die ihr zion mit Blutvergießen baut und Jerusalem mit Frevel.
11 The heads thereof iudge for rewardes, and the Priestes thereof teache for hyre, and the prophets thereof prophecie for money: yet wil they leane vpon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among vs? no euill can come vpon vs.
Seine Häupter sprechen für Geschenke Recht, und ihre Priester erteilen Weisung für Lohn; ihre Propheten wahrsagen für Geld und verlassen sich dabei auf Jahwe, indem sie denken: Wir haben doch Jahwe in unserer Mitte, uns kann kein Unglück treffen!
12 Therefore shall Zion for your sake bee plowed as a field, and Ierusalem shalbe an heape, and the mountaine of the house, as the hye places of the forest.
Darum soll euretwegen Zion zum Feld umgepflügt und Jerusalem ein Trümmerhaufen und der Tempelberg zur bewaldeten Höhe werden!
