< Matthew 25 >

1 Then the kingdome of heauen shalbe likened vnto tenne virgins, which tooke their lampes, and went foorth to meete the bridegrome.
“Hĩndĩ ĩyo-rĩ, ũthamaki wa igũrũ ũkaahaananio na airĩtu ikũmi arĩa mooire matawa mao, makiumagara nĩguo magatũnge mũhikania.
2 And fiue of them were wise, and fiue foolish.
3 The foolish tooke their lampes, but tooke none oyle with them.
Acio akĩĩgu nĩmakuuire matawa mao, no matiakuuire maguta.
4 But the wise tooke oyle in their vessels with their lampes.
No rĩrĩ, acio oogĩ, nĩmakuuire maguta na cuba, o hamwe na matawa mao.
5 Nowe while the bridegrome taried long, all slumbred and slept.
Na rĩrĩ, Mũhikania nĩaikarire angĩgooka, na othe magĩcũnga, magĩkoma.
6 And at midnight there was a crie made, Behold, the bridegrome commeth: goe out to meete him.
“Na ũtukũ gatagatĩ gũkĩanĩrĩrwo atĩrĩ: ‘Mũhikania nĩ mũũku! Umai mũkamũtũnge!’
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lampes.
“Hĩndĩ ĩyo airĩtu othe magĩũkĩra, magĩthondeka matawa mao.
8 And the foolish said to the wise, Giue vs of your oyle, for our lampes are out.
Acio akĩĩgu makĩĩra acio oogĩ atĩrĩ, ‘Tũgaĩrei maguta manyu tondũ; matawa maitũ nĩmarahora.’
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there will not be ynough for vs and you: but goe ye rather to them that sell, and bye for your selues.
“No acio oogĩ makĩmacookeria atĩrĩ, ‘Aca, matingĩtũigana na mamũigane. Handũ ha ũguo-rĩ, thiĩi kũrĩ arĩa mendagia maguta mũkegũrĩre manyu.’
10 And while they went to bye, the bridegrome came: and they that were readie, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut.
“No rĩrĩa maarĩ njĩra-inĩ magĩthiĩ kũgũra maguta-rĩ, mũhikania agĩkinya. Airĩtu arĩa mehaarĩirie magĩtoonya kĩhikanio-inĩ hamwe na mũhikania. Naguo mũrango ũkĩhingwo.
11 Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs.
“Thuutha ũcio airĩtu acio angĩ o nao magĩũka. Makiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Mwathani! Mwathani! Tũhingũrĩre mũrango!’
12 But he answered, and said, Verely I say vnto you, I knowe you not.
“Nowe agĩcookia atĩrĩ, ‘Ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ na ma, niĩ ndimũũĩ.’
13 Watch therfore: for ye know neither the day, nor the houre, when the sonne of man will come.
“Nĩ ũndũ ũcio-rĩ, mwĩhũgagei, tondũ mũtiũĩ mũthenya kana thaa.
14 For the kingdome of heauen is as a man that going into a strange countrey, called his seruants, and deliuered to them his goods.
“Ningĩ, ũthamaki wa igũrũ ũkaahaananio na mũndũ wathiiaga rũgendo, nake agĩĩta ndungata ciake, agĩciĩhokera indo ciake.
15 And vnto one he gaue fiue talents, and to an other two, and to another one, to euery man after his own ability, and straightway went from home.
Akĩnengera ĩmwe yacio taranda ithano cia mbeeca, na ĩngĩ taranda igĩrĩ, na ĩrĩa ĩngĩ taranda ĩmwe, o ndungata kũringana na ũhoti wayo. Agĩcooka agĩthiĩ rũgendo.
16 Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them, and gained other fiue talents.
Ndungata ĩrĩa yaneetwo taranda ithano ĩgĩthiĩ o hĩndĩ ĩyo, ĩkĩonjorithia mbeeca ciayo, na ĩkĩona uumithio wa taranda ingĩ ithano.
17 Likewise also, he that receiued two, he also gained other two.
O nayo ĩrĩa yaheetwo taranda igĩrĩ ĩkĩonjorithia ĩkĩona uumithio wa ingĩ igĩrĩ.
18 But he that receiued that one, went and digged it in the earth, and hid his masters money.
No ndungata ĩrĩa yaheetwo taranda ĩmwe ĩgĩthiĩ, ĩkĩenja irima, ĩkĩhitha mbeeca cia mwathi wayo.
19 But after a long season, the master of those seruants came, and reckoned with them.
“Thuutha wa ihinda iraaya, mwathi wa ndungata icio nĩacookire na agĩciĩta nĩguo iheane ũhoro wa mathabu ma mbeeca ciake.
20 Then came he that had receiued fiue talents, and brought other fiue talents, saying, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me fiue talents: behold, I haue gained with them other fiue talents.
Ndungata ĩrĩa yaheetwo taranda ithano ĩkĩrehe ingĩ ithano, ĩkiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Mwathi wakwa, waheire taranda ithano. Atĩrĩrĩ, nĩĩthũkũmĩte ingĩ ithano.’
21 Then his master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
“Nake mwathi wayo akĩmĩcookeria atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩwĩkĩte wega, wee ndungata ĩno njega na ya kwĩhokeka! Nĩũtuĩkĩte mwĩhokeku harĩ indo nini; nĩngũgũtua mũrori wa indo nyingĩ. Ũka ũtoonye gĩkeno-inĩ kĩa mwathi waku!’
22 Also he that had receiued two talents, came, and said, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me two talents: behold, I haue gained two other talets more.
“Ndungata ĩrĩa yaheetwo taranda igĩrĩ o nayo ĩgĩũka. Ĩkiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Mwathi wakwa waheire taranda igĩrĩ! Atĩrĩrĩ, nĩthũkũmĩte ingĩ igĩrĩ.’
23 His master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant, and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
“Nake mwathi wayo akĩmĩcookeria atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩwĩkĩte wega, wee ndungata ĩno njega na ya kwĩhokeka! Nĩũtuĩkĩte mwĩhokeku harĩ indo nini; nĩ ngũgũtua mũrori wa indo nyingĩ. Ũka ũtoonye gĩkeno-inĩ kĩa Mwathi waku!’
24 Then he which had receiued the one talent, came, and said, Master, I knewe that thou wast an hard man, which reapest where thou sowedst not, and gatherest where thou strawedst not:
“Nayo ndungata ĩrĩa yaheetwo taranda ĩmwe o nayo ĩgĩũka. Ĩkiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Mwathi wakwa, nĩ ndooĩ atĩ wee wĩ mũndũ mwĩĩ, ũgethaga kũrĩa ũtahandĩte, na ũkongania kũrĩa ũtaahandire mbeũ.
25 I was therefore afraide, and went, and hid thy talent in the earth: behold, thou hast thine owne.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩndetigĩrire, ngĩthiĩ ngĩhitha taranda yaku thĩ. Atĩrĩrĩ, ĩno no ĩrĩa yaku ndagũcookeria.’
26 And his master answered, and said vnto him, Thou euill seruant, and slouthfull, thou knewest that I reape where I sowed not, and gather where I strawed not.
“Nake mwathi wayo akĩmĩcookeria atĩrĩ, ‘Wee ndungata ĩno njaganu na ngũũtaru! Ũguo nĩ wooĩ atĩ ngethaga kũrĩa itahaandĩte, na ngongania kũrĩa itaahurĩte mbeũ?
27 Thou oughtest therefore to haue put my money to ye exchangers, and then at my comming should I haue receiued mine owne with vantage.
Gũkĩrĩ ũguo-rĩ, wagĩrĩirwo nĩ kũiga mbeeca ciakwa bengi, na ndacooka-rĩ, nĩingĩacookerio mbeeca ciakwa irĩ hamwe na uumithio wacio.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and giue it vnto him which hath tenne talents.
“‘Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, mĩtunyei taranda ĩyo, mũmĩnengere ũrĩa ũrĩ na taranda ikũmi.
29 For vnto euery man that hath, it shall be giuen, and he shall haue abundance, and from him that hath not, euen that he hath, shalbe taken away.
Nĩgũkorwo mũndũ o wothe ũrĩ na indo nĩwe ũkoongererwo ingĩ nyingĩ na akĩrĩrĩrio. Nake ũrĩa ũtarĩ, o na kĩrĩa arĩ nakĩo nĩagatuunywo.
30 Cast therefore that vnprofitable seruant into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnasshing of teeth.
Oyai ndungata ĩyo ĩtarĩ bata mũmĩikie nja kũu nduma-inĩ, kũrĩa gũgaakorwo kĩrĩro na kũhagarania magego.’
31 And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie,
“Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa Mũrũ wa Mũndũ agooka arĩ na riiri wake, na araika othe marĩ hamwe nake, nĩagaikarĩra gĩtĩ gĩake kĩa ũnene na kĩrĩ riiri wa igũrũ.
32 And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates.
Ndũrĩrĩ ciothe nĩigacookanĩrĩrio mbere yake, nake nĩakamũrania andũ kuuma kũrĩ arĩa angĩ, o ta ũrĩa mũrĩithi aamũranagia ngʼondu na mbũri.
33 And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left.
34 Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
“Ningĩ Mũthamaki nĩakeera arĩa marĩ mwena wake wa ũrĩo atĩrĩ, ‘Ũkai, inyuĩ mũrathimĩtwo nĩ Baba; oyai igai rĩa ũthamaki ũrĩa mwathondekeirwo kuuma rĩrĩa thĩ yombirwo.
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you.
Nĩgũkorwo ndaarĩ mũhũũtu mũkĩĩhe gĩa kũrĩa, na ndaarĩ mũnyootu mũkĩĩhe gĩa kũnyua, na ndaarĩ mũgeni mũkĩĩnyiita ũgeni,
36 I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me.
na ndaarĩ njaga mũkĩĩhe nguo, na ndaarĩ mũrũaru na inyuĩ mũkĩĩmenyerera, o na ndaarĩ njeera na mũgĩũka kũndora.’
37 Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke?
“Hĩndĩ ĩyo arĩa athingu nĩmakamũcookeria mamũũrie atĩrĩ, ‘Mwathani, nĩ rĩ twakuonire ũrĩ mũhũũtu tũgĩkũhe gĩa kũrĩa, kana ũrĩ mũnyootu tũgĩkũhe gĩa kũnyua?
38 And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee?
Na nĩ rĩ twakuonire ũrĩ mũgeni tũgĩkũnyiita ũgeni, kana ũrĩ njaga tũgĩkũhe nguo?
39 Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee?
O na nĩ rĩ twakuonire ũrĩ mũrũaru kana ũrĩ njeera na tũgĩũka gũkũrora?’
40 And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me.
“Nake Mũthamaki nĩagacookia, ameere atĩrĩ, ‘Ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ na ma, ũndũ wothe mwekĩire ariũ a Baba o na arĩa anini mũno, nĩ niĩ mwekĩire.’
41 Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels.
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me no meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me no drinke:
Nĩgũkorwo ndaarĩ mũhũũtu na mũtiaheire gĩa kũrĩa, na ndaarĩ mũnyootu na mũtiaheire gĩa kũnyua,
43 I was a stranger, and ye tooke me not in vnto you: I was naked, and ye clothed me not: sicke, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
na ndaarĩ mũgeni na mũtianyiitire ũgeni, ndaarĩ njaga na mũtiaheire nguo, ndaarĩ mũrũaru na ndaarĩ njeera na mũtiokire kũnyona.’
44 Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee?
“Nao nĩmagacookia, mamũũrie atĩrĩ, ‘Mwathani, nĩ rĩ twakuonire ũrĩ mũhũũtu, kana ũrĩ mũnyootu, kana ũrĩ mũgeni, kana ũrĩ njaga, kana ũrĩ mũrũaru, o na kana ũrĩ njeera na tũtiagũteithirie?’
45 Then shall he answere them, and say, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
“Nake nĩakamacookeria atĩrĩ, ‘Ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ na ma, ũndũ o wothe mũteekire ũmwe wa aya anini mũno, nĩ niĩ mũteekĩire.’
46 And these shall goe into euerlasting paine, and the righteous into life eternall.
