Matthew 2
1 When Jesus then was borne at Bethleem in Iudea, in the dayes of Herod the King, beholde, there came Wisemen from the East to Hierusalem,
୧ଏରଦ୍ ରାଜାର୍ ସାସନ୍ ବେଲେ, ଜିଉଦା ରାଇଜର୍ ବେତ୍ଲିଇମେ ଜିସୁ ଜନମ୍ ଅଇଲା । ଜନମ୍ ଅଇ ଚନେକ୍ ଜିବାକେ ପୁରୁବ୍ ଦେସର୍ କେତେଟା ତାରାର୍ ବିସଇ ପଡ୍ତେ ରଇବା ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନ୍ ଜିରୁସାଲାମେ ଆସି ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ,
2 Saying, Where is that King of the Iewes that is borne? for wee haue seene his starre in the East, and are come to worship him.
୨“ଜନ୍ ପିଲା ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ରାଜା ଅଇବାକେ ଜନମ୍ ଅଇଲାଆଚେ, ସେ କନ୍ତି ଆଚେ? କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଆମେ ପୁରୁବ୍ ଦେସେ ତାର୍ ତାରା ଦେକି ତାକେ ପୁଜା କର୍ବାର୍ ଆସିଆଚୁ ।”
3 When King Herod heard this, he was troubled, and all Hierusalem with him.
୩ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନର୍ କାତା ସୁନି ଏରଦ୍ ରାଜା ଆରି ତାର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରଇବା ଜିରୁସାଲାମର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସବୁ କିଲ୍ବିଲ୍ ଅଇଗାଲାଇ ।
4 And gathering together all the chiefe Priestes and Scribes of the people, hee asked of them, where Christ should be borne.
୪ଆରି ଏରଦ୍ ସବୁ ମୁକିଅ ପୁଜାରିମନ୍କେ ଆରି ସାସ୍ତର୍ ସିକାଉମନ୍କେ ଡାକାଇ କରି, “ମସିଅ ଜେ କି କିରିସ୍ଟ କନ୍ ଜାଗାଇ ଜନମ୍ ଅଇଆଚେ?” ସେଟା ସେମନର୍ତେଇ ଅନି ବୁଜ୍ବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କଲା ।
5 And they saide vnto him, At Beth-leem in Iudea: for so it is written by the Prophet,
୫ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନ୍ ଏରଦ୍ ରାଜାକେ କଇଲାଇ, ଜିଉଦା ରାଇଜର୍ ବେତ୍ଲିଇମ୍ ଗଡେ, ଜନ୍ଟାକି ଗଟେକ୍ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତା ଏନ୍ତାରି ଲେକିଆଚେ ।
6 And thou Beth-leem in the lande of Iuda, art not the least among the Princes of Iuda: For out of thee shall come the gouernour that shall feede that my people Israel.
୬ଏ ଜିଉଦା ଦେସର୍ ବେତ୍ଲିଇମ୍, ତୁଇ ଜିଉଦା ରାଇଜର୍ ମୁକିଅ ଗଡ୍ମନର୍ତେଇ ଅନି ସାନ୍ ନଉଁସ୍, କାଇକେବଇଲେ ମର୍ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବାଟ୍ ଦେକାଇସି, ଏନ୍ତାରି ଗଟେକ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ ତର୍ତେଇଅନି ଉବଜ୍ସି ।
7 Then Herod priuily called the Wisemen, and diligently inquired of them the time of the starre that appeared,
୭ଏଟା ସୁନି କରି ଏରଦ୍ ରାଜା ସେ ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନ୍କେ ଲୁଚ୍ତେ ଡାକାଇ, ତାରା କନ୍ ବେଲାଇ ଉଦିରଇଲା, ସେମନର୍ତେଇ ଅନି ଟିକ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବୁଜିନେଲା ।
8 And sent them to Beth-leem, saying, Goe, and searche diligently for the babe: and when ye haue founde him, bring mee worde againe, that I may come also, and worship him.
୮ତାର୍ପଚେ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇ ପାଟାଇଲା, “ତମେ ଜାଆ ଆରି ବେତ୍ଲିଇମେ ସେ ପିଲାକେ ନିମାନ୍ କରି କଜିଦେକା, ଆରି ପିଲା ମିଲ୍ଲେସରି ମକେ ଜାନାଆ ମୁଇ ମିସା ଜାଇ ତାକେ ଦର୍ସନ୍ କର୍ବି ।”
9 So when they had heard the King, they departed: and loe, the starre which they had seene in the East, went before them, till it came and stoode ouer the place where the babe was.
୯ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନ୍ ରାଜାର୍ କାତା ସୁନି ସେ ଜାଗାଇଅନି ବାରିଗାଲାଇ । ଗାଲାବେଲେ ଏଦେ ଦେକା! ସେମନ୍ ପୁରୁବ୍ ଦେସେ ଜନ୍ ତାରା ଦେକି ରଇଲାଇ, ସେ ତାରା ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ଡିସ୍ଲା ।
10 And when they sawe the starre, they reioyced with an exceeding great ioy,
୧୦ସେମନ୍ ତାରା ଦେକି ବେସି ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇଗାଲାଇ । ତାରା ସେମନର୍ ଆଗେ ଜାଇକରି ଜିସୁ ରଇଲା ଜାଗାର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଅଟ୍କିଗାଲା ।
11 And went into the house, and founde the babe with Mary his mother, and fell downe, and worshipped him, and opened their treasures, and presented vnto him giftes, euen golde, and frankincense, and myrrhe.
୧୧ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନ୍ ସେ ଗର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ପୁରି ପିଲାକେ ତାର୍ ମା ମରିୟମ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରଇଲାଟା ଦେକି, ତାକେ ମାଣ୍ଡିକୁଟା ଦେଇ ଜୁଆର୍ କଲାଇ, ଆରି ଆନିରଇବା ସୁନା, କୁନ୍ଦୁୁରୁ ଆରି ଗନ୍ଦ୍ରସ୍ ବେଟି, ପିଲାକେ ଦେଲାଇ ।
12 And after they were warned of God in a dreame, that they should not go againe to Herod, they returned into their countrey another way.
୧୨ପଚେ ସେମନ୍ ଏରଦର୍ ଲଗେ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ନ ଜାଇକରି ବିନ୍ ବାଟେ ନିଜର୍ ଦେସେ ବାଉଡି ଗାଲାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଏରଦର୍ ଟାନେ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ବାଉଡି ନ ଜିବାକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସେମନ୍କେ ସପ୍ନେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଇରଇଲା ।
13 After their departure, behold, the Angel of the Lord appeareth to Ioseph in a dreame, saying, Arise, and take the babe and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be there til I bring thee word: for Herod will seeke the babe, to destroy him.
୧୩ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନ୍ ଗାଲାପଚେ, ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦୁତ୍ ଜସେପ୍କେ ସପ୍ନେ ଦର୍ସନ୍ ଦେଇ କଇଲା, “ଉଟ୍, ପିଲାକେ ଆରି ତାକର୍ ଆୟାକେ ଦାରି ମିସର୍ ଦେସେ ଦାପ୍ରେ ଉଟିଜା । ଏରଦ୍ ପିଲାକେ ମରାଇବାକେ କଜିବୁଲ୍ସି । ମୁଇ ସେ ଜାଗା ଚାଡା ବଲି ନ କଇବା ଜାକ ତେଇସେ ରୁଆ ।”
14 So he arose and tooke the babe and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt,
୧୪ଏ କାତା ସୁନି ଜସେପ୍ ସେ ରାତି, ପିଲାକେ ଆରି ତାର୍ ମାକେ ଦାରି ମିସର୍ ଦେସେ ଉଟିଗାଲା ।
15 And was there vnto the death of Herod, that that might be fulfilled, which is spoken of the Lord by the Prophet, saying, Out of Egypt haue I called my sonne.
୧୫ଏରଦ୍ ରାଜା ମର୍ବା ଜାକ ମିସର୍ ଦେସେସେ ରଇଲାଇ, ଜେନ୍ତାର୍ କି ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତା କଇରଇଲା ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ବାକିଅ ସିଦ୍ ଅଇଲା, ମର୍ ପିଲାକେ ମୁଇ ମିସର୍ ଦେସେଅନି ଡାକି ଆନ୍ଲି ।
16 Then Herod, seeing that he was mocked of the Wisemen, was exceeding wroth, and sent foorth, and slew all the male children that were in Beth-leem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two yeere old and vnder, according to the time which he had diligently searched out of the Wisemen.
୧୬ପୁରୁବ୍ ଦେସେଅନି ଆସିରଇଲା ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ନାଡାଇ କରି ଉଟିଗାଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍ ବଲି ଜାନି, ଏରଦ୍ ବେସି ରିସା ଅଇଗାଲା । ବେତ୍ଲିଇମ୍ ଆରି ସେ ଲଗେ ପାକେ ରଇବା ଦୁଇ ବରସ୍ ଅନି ତଲେ ରଇଲା ସବୁ ପିଲାମନ୍କେ ମରାଇବାକେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲା । ପଣ୍ଡିତ୍ମନର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ତାରା ଡିସ୍ତେ ରଇବା ବେଲା ସେ ଜାନିରଇଲା । ସେ ଇସାବେ ପିଲାମନର୍ ବରସ୍ ଟିକ୍ କରିରଇଲା ।
17 Then was that fulfilled which is spoken by the Prophet Ieremias, saying,
୧୭ଏନ୍ତି ଅଇଲାଜେ ଜିରିମିୟ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତା କଇଲା ଏ ବାକିଅ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇଲା । ସେ ଏନ୍ତି କଇରଇଲା,
18 In Rhama was a voyce heard, mourning, and weeping, and great howling: Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they were not.
୧୮ରାମା ନାଉଁର୍ ସଅରେ ମାର୍ଚପ୍ ଅଇ କାନ୍ଦ୍ବାଟା ସୁନି ଅଇଲାନି, ରାଏଲ୍ ତାର୍ ପିଲାମନର୍ ପାଇ କାନ୍ଦ୍ଲାନି । ତାକେ ଜେତେକ୍ ବୁଜାଇଲେ ମିସା ବୁଜେନାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ତାର୍ ପିଲାମନ୍ ସବୁ ମରିଜାଇରଇଲାଇ ।
19 And whe Herod was dead, behold, an Angel of the Lord appeareth in a dreame to Ioseph in Egypt,
୧୯ଏରଦ୍ ମଲାପଚେ, ଏଦେ ଦେକା! ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦୁତ୍ ମିସର୍ ଦେସେ ଜସେପ୍କେ ଦର୍ସନ୍ ଦେଇ କଇଲା,
20 Saying, Arise, and take the babe and his mother, and goe into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the babes life.
୨୦“ଉଟ୍ ଆରି ବାରଇକରି, ଦୁଇ ମାଆ ପିଲାକେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ୍ ଦେସେ ଦାରିଜା । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କି ପିଲାର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ନେବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କର୍ତେରଇଲାଇ, ସେମନ୍ ମରିଗାଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍ ।”
21 Then he arose vp and tooke the babe and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
୨୧ଜସେପ୍ ଏ କାତା ସୁନି ଜିସୁ ଆରି ତାର୍ ମାଆ ମରିୟମ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବାରଇକରି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ୍ ଦେସେ ବାଉଡି ଆଇଲାଇ ।
22 But whe he heard that Archelaus did reigne in Iudea in stead of his father Herod, he was afraide to go thither: yet after he was warned of God in a dreame, he turned aside into the parts of Galile,
୨୨ମାତର୍ ଜସେପ୍, ଏରଦର୍ ପଚେ ତାର୍ ପଅ ଆର୍କିଲାୟ ଜିଉଦା ରାଇଜର୍ ରାଜା ଅଇଆଚେ ବଲି ସୁନିକରି ତେଇ ଜିବାକେ ଡର୍ଲା ।
23 And went and dwelt in a citie called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Prophets, which was, That hee should be called a Nazarite.
୨୩ମାତର୍ ଆରିଗଟେକ୍ ବିନ୍ ସପନ୍ ଇସାବେ ଗାଲିଲି ଦେସେ ଜାଇକରି ନାଜରିତ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଡେ ବାସା ଅଇ ରଇଲା । ଜେନ୍ତାର୍ କି ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତା କଇଲା ଏ ବାକିଅ ସିଦ୍ ଅଇଲା । ସେ ଏନ୍ତି ବଲି କଇରଇଲା, “ସେ ନାଜରିତିୟା ବଲି ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା ଅଇସି ।”
