Mark 11
1 And when they came neere to Hierusalem, to Bethphage and Bethania vnto the mount of Oliues, he sent forth two of his disciples,
Comme ils approchaient de Jérusalem, aux environs de Betphagé et Béthanie, vers la montagne des Oliviers, Jésus envoya deux de ses disciples,
2 And sayd vnto them, Goe your wayes into that towne that is ouer against you, and assoone as ye shall enter into it, ye shall finde a colte tied, whereon neuer man sate: loose him, and bring him.
en leur disant: " Allez au village qui est devant vous; dès que vous y serez entrés, vous trouverez un ânon attaché, sur lequel nul homme ne s'est encore assis: détachez-le et amenez-le-moi.
3 And if any man say vnto you, Why doe ye this? Say that the Lord hath neede of him, and straightway he will send him hither.
Et si quelqu'un vous dit: Que faites-vous? répondez: Le Seigneur en a besoin; et aussitôt il va le renvoyer ici. "
4 And they went their way, and found a colt tyed by the doore without, in a place where two wayes met, and they loosed him.
S'en étant allés, les disciples trouvèrent un ânon attaché à une porte, en dehors, au tournant du chemin, et ils le détachèrent.
5 Then certaine of them, that stoode there, sayd vnto them, What doe ye loosing the colt?
Quelques-uns de ceux qui étaient là leur dirent: " Que faites-vous de détacher cet ânon? "
6 And they sayde vnto them, as Iesus had commanded them: So they let them goe.
Ils répondirent comme Jésus le leur avait commandé, et on les laissa faire.
7 And they brought the colte to Iesus, and cast their garments on him, and he sate vpon him.
Et ils amenèrent l'ânon à Jésus, et ils mirent dessus leurs manteaux, et Jésus s'y assit.
8 And many spred their garments in the way: other cut downe branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
Un grand nombre étendirent leurs manteaux le long de la route; d'autres, ayant coupé des branches d'arbres, en jonchèrent le chemin.
9 And they that went before, and they that folowed, cryed, saying, Hosanna: blessed be hee that commeth in the Name of the Lord.
Et ceux qui marchaient devant, et ceux qui suivaient, criaient: " Hosanna! Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur!
10 Blessed be the kingdome that commeth in the Name of the Lord of our father Dauid: Hosanna, O thou which art in the highest heauens.
Béni soit le règne de David notre père, qui va commencer! Hosanna au plus haut des cieux! "
11 So Iesus entred into Hierusalem, and into the Temple: and when he had looked about on all things, and now it was euening, he went forth vnto Bethania with the twelue.
Et il entra à Jérusalem, dans le temple; et ayant observé toutes choses, comme déjà l'heure était avancée, il s'en alla à Béthanie avec les Douze.
12 And on the morowe when they were come out from Bethania, he was hungry.
Le lendemain, après qu'ils furent sortis de Béthanie, il eut faim.
13 And seeing a fig tree afarre off, that had leaues, he went to see if he might finde any thing thereon: but when he came vnto it, hee found nothing but leaues: for the time of figges was not yet.
Apercevant de loin un figuier couvert de feuilles, il s'avança pour voir s'il n'y trouverait pas quelque fruit; et s'en étant approché, il n'y trouva que des feuilles; car ce n'était pas la saison des figues.
14 Then Iesus answered, and sayd to it, Neuer man eate fruite of thee hereafter while the world standeth: and his disciples heard it. (aiōn g165)
Alors il dit au figuier: " Qu'à jamais personne ne mange plus de ton fruit! " Ce que ses disciples entendirent. (aiōn g165)
15 And they came to Hierusalem, and Iesus went into the Temple, and began to cast out them that solde and bought in the Temple, and ouerthrewe the tables of the money changers, and the seates of them that solde doues.
Ils arrivèrent à Jérusalem. Jésus étant entré dans le temple, se mit à chasser ceux qui vendaient et achetaient dans le temple, et il renversa les tables des changeurs, et les sièges de ceux qui vendaient des colombes,
16 Neither would hee suffer that any man should cary a vessell through the Temple.
et il ne souffrait pas que personne transportât aucun objet à travers le temple.
17 And he taught, saying vnto them, Is it not written, Mine house shalbe called the house of prayer vnto all nations? but you haue made it a denne of theeues.
Et il enseignait, en disant: " N'est-il pas écrit: Ma maison sera appelée une maison de prière pour toutes les nations? Mais vous, vous en avez fait une caverne de voleurs. "
18 And the Scribes and hie Priestes heard it, and sought howe to destroy him: for they feared him, because the whole multitude was astonied at his doctrine.
Ce qu'ayant entendu, les Princes des prêtres et les Scribes cherchaient les moyens de le faire périr; car ils le craignaient, parce que tout le peuple admirait sa doctrine.
19 But when euen was come, Iesus went out of the citie.
Le soir étant venu, Jésus sortit de la ville.
20 And in the morning as they iourneyed together, they saw the figge tree dried vp from the rootes.
Or, en repassant de grand matin, les disciples virent le figuier desséché jusqu'à la racine.
21 Then Peter remembred, and said vnto him, Master, beholde, the figge tree which thou cursedst, is withered.
Et Pierre, se ressouvenant, dit à Jésus: " Maître, voilà que le figuier que vous avez maudit a séché. "
22 And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Haue the faith of God.
Jésus leur répondit: " Ayez foi en Dieu.
23 For verely I say vnto you, that whosoeuer shall say vnto this mountaine, Be thou taken away, and cast into the sea, and shall not wauer in his heart, but shall beleeue that those things which he saieth, shall come to passe, whatsoeuer he saieth, shall be done to him.
Je vous le dis, en vérité, si quelqu'un dit à cette montagne: Ote-toi de là, et te jette dans la mer, et s'il ne doute pas dans son cœur, mais qu'il croie que ce qu'il dit arrivera, il le verra s'accomplir.
24 Therefore I say vnto you, Whatsoeuer ye desire when ye pray, beleeue that ye shall haue it, and it shalbe done vnto you.
C'est pourquoi, je vous le dis, tout ce que vous demanderez dans la prière, croyez que vous l'obtiendrez, et vous le verrez s'accomplir.
25 But when ye shall stand, and pray, forgiue, if ye haue any thing against any man, that your Father also which is in heauen, may forgiue you your trespasses.
Lorsque vous êtes debout pour faire votre prière, si vous avez quelque chose contre quelqu'un, pardonnez, afin que votre Père qui est dans les cieux vous pardonne aussi vos offenses.
26 For if you will not forgiue, your Father which is in heauen, will not pardon you your trespasses.
Si vous ne pardonnez pas, votre Père qui est dans les cieux ne vous pardonnera pas non plus vos offenses. "
27 Then they came againe to Hierusalem: and as he walked in the Temple, there came to him ye hie Priestes, and the Scribes, and the Elders,
Ils arrivèrent de nouveau à Jérusalem. Pendant que Jésus se promenait dans le temple, les Princes des prêtres, les Scribes et les Anciens s'approchèrent de lui,
28 And said vnto him, By what authoritie doest thou these things? and who gaue thee this authoritie, that thou shouldest doe these things?
et lui dirent: " Par quel pouvoir faites-vous ces choses? Qui vous a donné pouvoir de les faire? "
29 Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, I will also aske of you a certaine thing, and answere ye me, and I will tell you by what authoritie I do these things.
Jésus leur dit: " Je vous ferai, moi aussi, une question; répondez-moi et je vous dirai par quel pouvoir je fais ces choses.
30 The baptisme of Iohn, was it from heauen, or of men? answere me.
Le baptême de Jean, était-il du ciel ou des hommes? Répondez-moi. "
31 And they thought with themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say, Why then did ye not beleeue him?
Mais ils faisaient en eux-mêmes cette réflexion: " Si nous répondons: Du ciel, il dira: Pourquoi donc n'avez-vous pas cru en lui.
32 But if we say, Of men, we feare the people: for all men counted Iohn, that he was a Prophet in deede.
Si nous répondons: des hommes... " Ils craignaient le peuple; car tous tenaient Jean pour un véritable prophète.
33 Then they answered, and saide vnto Iesus, We cannot tell. And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Neither will I tell you by what authoritie I doe these things.
Ils répondirent donc à Jésus: " Nous ne savons — Et moi, dit Jésus, je ne vous dirai pas non plus par quelle autorité je fais ces choses. "
