Luke 3
1 Nowe in the fifteenth yeere of the reigne of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being gouernour of Iudea, and Herod being Tetrarch of Galile, and his brother Philip Tetrarch of Iturea, and of the countrey of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the Tetrarch of Abilene,
၁ကဲသာဘုရင် တိဗေရိနန်းစံတဆယ်ငါးနှစ်တွင်၊ ယုဒပြည်၌ ပုန္တိပိလတ်သည်မြို့ဝန်အရာ၊ ဂါလိလဲပြည်၌ ဟေရုဒ်သည် စော်ဘွားအရာ၊ ဣတုရဲပြည်နှင့် တရာခေါနိပြည်၌ ဟေရုဒ်ညီဖိလိပ္ပုသည် စော်ဘွားအရာ၊ အဘိလင်ပြည်၌ လုသာနိသည် စောဘွားအရာ၊
2 (When Annas and Caiaphas were the hie Priestes) the worde of God came vnto Iohn, the sonne of Zacharias in the wildernes.
၂အန္နနှင့်ကယာဖတို့သည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းအရာ၊ အသီးအသီးရှိကြသောအခါ၊ တော၌ရှိသော ဇာခရိ၏သားယောဟန်သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကို ခံရ၏။
3 And hee came into all the coastes about Iordan, preaching the baptisme of repentance for the remission of sinnes,
၃ပရောဖက်ဟေရှာယ၏ ကျမ်းစာ၌လာသည်ကား၊ တော၌ဟစ်ကြော်သောသူ၏အသံမှာ၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားကြွတော်မူရာလမ်းကို ပြင်ကြလော့။
4 As it is written in the booke of the sayings of Esaias the Prophet, which saith, The voyce of him that crieth in the wildernes is, Prepare ye the way of the Lord: make his paths straight.
၄လမ်းခရီးတော်ကို ဖြောင့်စေကြလော့။ ချိုင့်ဝှမ်းရာရှိသမျှတို့ကို ဖို့ရ မည်။ တောင်ကြီးတောင်ငယ် ရှိသမျှတို့ကို ဖြိုရမည်။ ကောက်သောလမ်းများကို ဖြောင့်စေရမည်။
5 Euery valley shalbe filled, and euery mountaine and hill shall be brought lowe, and crooked things shalbe made straight, and the rough wayes shalbe made smoothe.
၅ကြမ်းတမ်း သောလမ်းများကိုလည်း သုတ်သင်ပြင်ဆင်ရမည်။
6 And all flesh shall see the saluation of God.
၆လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်း အကြောင်းကို မြင်ရကြလတံ့ဟု လာသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ယောဟန်သည် ယော်ဒန်မြစ်နား၌ အနှံ့အပြားလှည့် လည်၍ အပြစ်လွှတ်ခြင်းအဘို့အလိုငှါ နောင်တနှင့် စပ်ဆိုင်သော ဗတ္တိဇံတရားကို ဟောလေ၏။
7 Then said he to the people that were come out to be baptized of him, O generations of vipers, who hath forewarned you to flee from the wrath to come?
၇ထိုအခါ၊ ဗတ္တိဇံကို ခံအံ့သောငှါလာကြသော လူအစုအဝေးတို့အား ယောဟန်ဟောပြောသည်ကား၊ အချင်းမြွေဆိုးအမျိုးတို့၊ ရောက်လုသောဘေးဒဏ်မှ ပြေးသွားစိမ့်သောငှါ အဘယ်သူသည် သင်တို့ကို သတိ ပေးဘိသနည်း။
8 Bring foorth therefore fruites worthy amendment of life, and beginne not to say with your selues, We haue Abraham to our father: for I say vnto you, that God is able of these stones to raise vp children vnto Abraham.
၈နောင်တရခြင်းနှင့် ထိုက်တန်သောအကျင့်ကို ကျင့်ကြလော့။ အာဗြဟံသည် ငါတို့အဘဖြစ်သည်ဟူ၍ စိတ်ထဲ၌ မအောက်မေ့ကြနှင့်။ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ဤ ကျောက်ခဲတို့မှ အာဗြဟံသားတို့ကိုထုတ်ဘော် ဖန်ဆင်း နိုင်တော်မူသည်ဟု ငါအမှန်ဆို၏။
9 Nowe also is the axe layed vnto the roote of the trees: therefore euery tree which bringeth not foorth good fruite, shalbe hewen downe, and cast into the fire.
၉သစ်ပင်အမြစ်နားမှာ ပုဆိန်ထားလျက်ရှိသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ ကောင်းသောအသီးမသီးသောအပင်ရှိသမျှတို့ကို ခုတ်လှဲ၍ မီးထဲသို့ ချလိုက်ရသည်ဟု ဟောပြောလေ၏။
10 Then the people asked him, saying, What shall we doe then?
၁၀လူအစုအဝေးကလည်း၊ သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ပြုရပါမည်နည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြ သော်၊
11 And he answered, and said vnto them, He that hath two coates, let him part with him that hath none: and hee that hath meate, let him doe likewise.
၁၁ယောဟန်က၊ အင်္ကျီနှစ်ထည်ရှိသောသူသည် အင်္ကျီမရှိသောသူအား မျှစေ။ စားစရာရှိသောသူသည် လည်း ထိုနည်းတူပြုစေဟု ပြန်ပြော၏။
12 Then came there Publicanes also to bee baptized, and saide vnto him, Master, what shall we doe?
၁၂အခွန်ခံသူတို့သည် ဗတ္တိဇံကို ခံခြင်းငှါလာ၍၊ အရှင်ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ ပြုရပါမည် နည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြလျှင်၊
13 And hee saide vnto them, Require no more then that which is appointed vnto you.
၁၃သတို့သခင်သည် ခွဲဝေစီမံသည်ထက်သာ၍ မခွဲမခံကြနှင့်ဟု ပြန်ပြော၏။
14 The souldiers likewise demaunded of him, saying, And what shall we doe? And he saide vnto them, Doe violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely, and be content with your wages.
၁၄စစ်သူရဲတို့ကလည်း အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ပြုရပါမည်နည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြလျှင်၊ သင်တို့ သည် အဘယ်သူကိုမျှ အနိုင်အထက်မပြုကြနှင့်။ အဘယ်သူကိုမျှ မလျှပ်ကြနှင့်။ ကိုယ်ရသောအခနှင့် ရောင့်ရဲကြလော့ဟု ပြန်ပြော၏။
15 As the people waited, and all men mused in their heartes of Iohn, if he were not that Christ,
၁၅လူအများတို့သည် မြော်လင့်၍၊ ယောဟန်သည် ခရစ်တော်မှန်သည်မမှန်သည်ကို နှလုံးထဲမှာ တွေး တောဆင်ခြင်ကြစဉ်၊
16 Iohn answered, and saide to them all, In deede I baptize you with water, but one stronger then I, commeth, whose shoes latchet I am not worthy to vnloose: hee will baptize you with the holy Ghost, and with fire.
၁၆ယောဟန်သည် လူအပေါင်းတို့အား ပြန်ပြောသည်ကား၊ ငါသည်သင်တို့အား ရေ၌ ဗတ္တိဇံကိုပေး၏။ ငါ့ထက်တတ်စွမ်းနိုင်သောသူသည် ကြွလာသေး၏။ ထိုသူ၏ခြေတော်ကြိုးကိုမျှ ဖြည်ခြင်းငှါ ငါမထိုက်။ ထို သူသည် သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်၌၎င်း၊ မီး၌၎င်း သင်တို့ကိုဗတ္တဇံကိုပေးမည်။
17 Whose fanne is in his hande, and hee will make cleane his floore, and will gather the wheate into his garner, but the chaffe will hee burne vp with fire that neuer shalbe quenched.
၁၇လက်တော်တွင် စံကောပါလျက် မိမိကောက် နယ်တလင်းကို ရှင်းလင်းစေသဖြင့်၊ ဂျုံစပါးကိုကား ကျီ၌ စုသိမ်းသွင်းထား၍၊ အဖျင်းကိုကား မငြိမ်းနိုင်သောမီးနှင့် ရှို့တော်မူလတံ့ဟု ပြောဆို၏။
18 Thus then exhorting with many other things, he preached vnto the people.
၁၈အခြားသောစကားများနှင့် ဆုံးမသွေးဆောင်၍ ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို လူအများတို့အား ဟောပြော လေ၏။
19 But when Herod the Tetrarch was rebuked of him, for Herodias his brother Philips wife, and for all the euils which Herod had done,
၁၉ထိုနောက် စော်ဘွားဟေရုဒ်သည် မိမိညီ၏ ခင်ပွန်းဟေရောဒိအကြောင်းမှစ၍၊ မိမိပြုသောဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ရှိသမျှတို့ကို ယောဟန်သည် ဘော်ပြဆုံးမသောကြောင့်၊
20 He added yet this aboue all, that he shut vp Iohn in prison.
၂၀ဟေရုဒ်သည် အရင်အပြစ်ရှိသမျှတို့အပေါ်မှာ ပြစ်သစ်ကိုထပ်လောင်း၍ ယောဟန်ကို ထောင်ထဲမှာ လှောင်ထား၏။
21 Nowe it came to passe, as all the people were baptized, and that Iesus was baptized and did pray, that the heauen was opened:
၂၁လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဗတ္တိဇံကိုခံကြသောအခါ၊ ယေရှုသည်လည်း ဗတ္တိဇံကိုခံတော်မူ၍ ဆုတောင်းစဉ် တွင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဖွင့်လှစ်သဖြင့်၊
22 And the holy Ghost came downe in a bodily shape like a doue, vpon him, and there was a voyce from heauen, saying, Thou art my beloued Sonne: in thee I am well pleased.
၂၂သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် ချိုးငှက်ကဲ့သို့ ကိုယ်ထင်ရှားလျက် ကိုယ်တော်ပေါ်၌ ဆင်းသက်တော် မူ၍၊ သင်ကား၊ ငါနှစ်သက်မြတ်နိုးရာ၊ ငါ၏ချစ်သားပေတည်းဟု ကောင်းကင်က အသံတော်ဖြစ်လေ၏။
23 And Iesus himselfe began to bee about thirtie yeere of age, being as men supposed the sonne of Ioseph, which was the sonne of Eli,
၂၃ထိုအခါ ယေရှုသည် အနှစ်သုံးဆယ်ခန့်မျှရှိတော်မူ၏။ လူများအထင်အမှတ်အားဖြင့် ကိုယ်တော်၏ အဘကား ယောသပ်တည်း။ ယောသပ်အဘဧလိ၊
24 The sonne of Matthat, the sonne of Leui, the sonne of Melchi, the sonne of Ianna, the sonne of Ioseph,
၂၄ဧလိအဘ မဿတ်၊ မဿတ်အဘ လေဝိ။ လေဝိအဘ မေလခိ၊ ပေလခိဘ ယန္န၊ ယန္နအဘ ယောသပ်၊
25 The sonne of Mattathias, the sonne of Amos, the sonne of Naum, the sonne of Esli, the sonne of Nagge,
၂၅ယောသပ်အဘ မတ္တသိ၊ မတ္တသိအဘ အာမုတ်၊ အာမုတ်အဘ နာဟုံ၊ နာဟုံအဘ ဧသလိ၊
26 The sonne of Maath, the sonne of Mattathias, the sonne of Semei, the sonne of Ioseph, the sonne of Iuda,
၂၆ဧသလိအဘနဂ္ဂဲ၊ နဂ္ဂဲအဘ မာအတ်၊ မာအတ်အဘ မတ္တသိ၊ မတ္တသိအဘ ရှေမိ၊ ရှေမိအဘ ယောသပ်၊ ယောသပ်အဘ ယုဒ၊ ယုဒအဘယေဟန္န၊
27 The sonne of Ioanna, the sonne of Rhesa, the sonne of Zorobabel, the sonne of Salathiel, the sonne of Neri,
၂၇ယောဟန္နအဘ ရေသ၊ ရေသအဘ ဇေရု ဗဗေလ၊ ဇေရုဗဗေလအဘ ရှာလသေလ၊ ရှာလသေလ အဘ နေရိ၊ နေရိအဘ မေလခိ၊ မေလခိအဘ အဒ္ဒိ၊
28 The sonne of Melchi, the sonne of Addi, the sonne of Cosam, the sonne of Elmodam, the sonne of Er,
၂၈အဒ္ဒိအဘကောသံ၊ ကောသံအဘ ဧလမောဒံ၊ ဧလမောဒံအဘ ဧရ၊
29 The sonne of Iose, the sonne of Eliezer, the sonne of Iorim, the sonne of Matthat, the son of Leui,
၂၉ဧရအဘ ယောသေ၊ ယောသေအဘဧလျေဇာ၊ ဧလျေဇာအဘ ယောရိမ်၊ ယောရိမ်အဘမဿတ်၊ မဿတ်အဘလေဝိ၊
30 The sonne of Simeon, the sonne of Iuda, the sonne of Ioseph, the sonne of Ionan, the sonne of Eliacim,
၃၀လေဝိအဘရှိမောင်၊ ရှိမောင်အဘယုဒ၊ ယုဒ အဘယောသပ်၊ ယောသပ် အဘယောနန်၊ ယောနန်အဘ ဧလျောတိမ်၊ ဧလျာကိမ် အဘမေလေ၊
31 The sonne of Melea, the sonne of Mainan, the sonne of Mattatha, the sonne of Nathan, the sonne of Dauid,
၃၁မေလေအဘမဲနန်၊ မဲနန်အဘမတ္တသ၊ မတ္တသ အဘနာသန်၊ နာသန့်အဘဒါဝိဒ်၊
32 The sonne of Iesse, the sonne of Obed, the sonne of Booz, the sonne of Salmon, the sonne of Naasson,
၃၂ဒါဝိဒ်အဘယေရှဲ၊ ယေရှဲ အဘဩဗက်၊ ဩဇက် အာဘဗောဇ၊ ဗောဇအဘစာလမုန်၊ စာလမုန်အဘ နာရှန်၊
33 The sonne of Aminadab, the sonne of Aram, the sonne of Esrom, the sonne of Phares, the sonne of Iuda,
၃၃နာရှုန်အဘအမိနဒဝ်၊ အမိနဒဝ်အဘအာရံ၊ အာရံအဘဟေဇရုံ၊ ဟေဇရုံအဘဖာရက်၊ ဖာရက် အဘယုဒ၊
34 The sonne of Iacob, the sonne of Isaac, the sonne of Abraham, the sonne of Thara, the sonne of Nachor,
၃၄ယုဒအဘ ယာကုပ်၊ ယာကုပ်အဘ ဣဇာက်၊ ဣဇာက်အဘအာဗြဟံ၊ အာဗြဟံအဘတေရ၊ တေရအဘ နာခေါ်၊
35 The sonne of Saruch, the sonne of Ragau, the sonne of Phalec, the sonne of Eber, the sonne of Sala,
၃၅နာခေါ်အဘစေရောက်၊ စေရောက်အဘ ရာဂေါ၊ ရာဂေါအဘဖာလက်၊ ဖာလက်အဘ ဟေဗာ၊ ဟေဗာအဘ ရှာလ၊
36 The sonne of Cainan, the sonne of Arphaxad, the sonne of Sem, the sonne of Noe, the sonne of Lamech,
၃၆ရှာလအဘ ကာဣနန်၊ ကာဣနန်အဘ အာဖာဇဒ်၊ အာဖာဇဒ်အဘ ရှေမ၊ ရှေမအဘနောဧ၊ နောဧအဘလာမက်၊
37 The sonne of Mathusala, the sonne of Enoch, the sonne of Iared, the sonne of Maleleel, the sonne of Cainan,
၃၇လာမက်အဘ မသုရှလ၊ မသုရှလအဘ ဧနောက်၊ ဧနောက်အဘယာရက်၊ ယာရက်အဘ မဟာ လေလေလ၊ မဟာလေလေလအဘ ကာဣနန်၊ ကာဣနန် အဘဧနုတ်၊ ဧနုတ်အဘရှေသ၊ ရှေသအဘ အာဒံ၊ အာဒံအဘဘုရား သခင်ပေတည်း။
38 The sonne of Enos, the sonne of Seth, the sonne of Adam, the sonne of God.
