Luke 20
1 And it came to passe, that on one of those dayes, as he taught the people in the Temple, and preached the Gospel, the hie Priests and the Scribes came vpon him with the Elders,
அதை²கதா³ யீஸு² ர்மநித³ரே ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ப்ரசாரயந் லோகாநுபதி³ஸ²தி, ஏதர்ஹி ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகா அத்⁴யாபகா: ப்ராஞ்சஸ்²ச தந்நிகடமாக³த்ய பப்ரச்சு²:
2 And spake vnto him, saying, Tell vs by what authoritie thou doest these things, or who is hee that hath giuen thee this authoritie?
கயாஜ்ஞயா த்வம்’ கர்ம்மாண்யேதாநி கரோஷி? கோ வா த்வாமாஜ்ஞாபயத்? தத³ஸ்மாந் வத³|
3 And he answered, and sayde vnto them, I also will aske you one thing: tell me therefore:
ஸ ப்ரத்யுவாச, தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாநபி கதா²மேகாம்’ ப்ரு’ச்சா²மி தஸ்யோத்தரம்’ வத³த|
4 The baptisme of Iohn, was it from heauen, or of men?
யோஹநோ மஜ்ஜநம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய மாநுஷாணாம்’ வாஜ்ஞாதோ ஜாதம்’?
5 And they reasoned within themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say, Why then beleeued ye him not?
ததஸ்தே மிதோ² விவிச்ய ஜக³து³: , யதீ³ஸ்²வரஸ்ய வதா³மஸ்தர்ஹி தம்’ குதோ ந ப்ரத்யைத ஸ இதி வக்ஷ்யதி|
6 But if we shall say, Of men, all the people will stone vs: for they be perswaded that Iohn was a Prophet.
யதி³ மநுஷ்யஸ்யேதி வதா³மஸ்தர்ஹி ஸர்வ்வே லோகா அஸ்மாந் பாஷாணை ர்ஹநிஷ்யந்தி யதோ யோஹந் ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதீ³தி ஸர்வ்வே த்³ரு’ட⁴ம்’ ஜாநந்தி|
7 Therefore they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.
அதஏவ தே ப்ரத்யூசு: கஸ்யாஜ்ஞயா ஜாதம் இதி வக்தும்’ ந ஸ²க்நும: |
8 Then Iesus sayd vnto them, Neither tell I you, by what authoritie I doe these things.
ததா³ யீஸு²ரவத³த் தர்ஹி கயாஜ்ஞயா கர்ம்மாண்யேதாதி கரோமீதி ச யுஷ்மாந் ந வக்ஷ்யாமி|
9 Then began he to speake to ye people this parable, A certaine man planted a vineyarde, and let it forth to husbandmen: and went into a strange countrey, for a great time.
அத² லோகாநாம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத் ஸ இமாம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தகதா²ம்’ வக்துமாரேபே⁴, கஸ்²சித்³ த்³ராக்ஷாக்ஷேத்ரம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தத் க்ஷேத்ரம்’ க்ரு’ஷீவலாநாம்’ ஹஸ்தேஷு ஸமர்ப்ய ப³ஹுகாலார்த²ம்’ தூ³ரதே³ஸ²ம்’ ஜகா³ம|
10 And at the time conuenient he sent a seruant to the husbandmen, that they should giue him of the fruite of the vineyard: but the husbandmen did beate him, and sent him away emptie.
அத² ப²லகாலே ப²லாநி க்³ரஹீது க்ரு’ஷீவலாநாம்’ ஸமீபே தா³ஸம்’ ப்ராஹிணோத் கிந்து க்ரு’ஷீவலாஸ்தம்’ ப்ரஹ்ரு’த்ய ரிக்தஹஸ்தம்’ விஸஸர்ஜு: |
11 Againe he sent yet another seruant: and they did beate him, and foule entreated him, and sent him away emptie.
தத: ஸோதி⁴பதி: புநரந்யம்’ தா³ஸம்’ ப்ரேஷயாமாஸ, தே தமபி ப்ரஹ்ரு’த்ய குவ்யவஹ்ரு’த்ய ரிக்தஹஸ்தம்’ விஸஸ்ரு’ஜு: |
12 Moreouer he sent the third, and him they wounded, and cast out.
தத: ஸ த்ரு’தீயவாரம் அந்யம்’ ப்ராஹிணோத் தே தமபி க்ஷதாங்க³ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ப³ஹி ர்நிசிக்ஷிபு: |
13 Then sayd the Lord of the vineyard, What shall I doe? I will send my beloued sonne: it may be that they will doe reuerence, when they see him.
ததா³ க்ஷேத்ரபதி ர்விசாரயாமாஸ, மமேதா³நீம்’ கிம்’ கர்த்தவ்யம்’? மம ப்ரியே புத்ரே ப்ரஹிதே தே தமவஸ்²யம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா ஸமாத³ரிஷ்யந்தே|
14 But when the husbandmen sawe him, they reasoned with themselues, saying, This is the heire: come, let vs kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
கிந்து க்ரு’ஷீவலாஸ்தம்’ நிரீக்ஷ்ய பரஸ்பரம்’ விவிச்ய ப்ரோசு: , அயமுத்தராதி⁴காரீ ஆக³ச்ச²தைநம்’ ஹந்மஸ்ததோதி⁴காரோஸ்மாகம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
15 So they cast him out of the vineyarde, and killed him. What shall the Lord of the vineyarde therefore doe vnto them?
ததஸ்தே தம்’ க்ஷேத்ராத்³ ப³ஹி ர்நிபாத்ய ஜக்⁴நுஸ்தஸ்மாத் ஸ க்ஷேத்ரபதிஸ்தாந் ப்ரதி கிம்’ கரிஷ்யதி?
16 He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and wil giue out his vineyard to others. But when they heard it, they sayd, God forbid.
ஸ ஆக³த்ய தாந் க்ரு’ஷீவலாந் ஹத்வா பரேஷாம்’ ஹஸ்தேஷு தத்க்ஷேத்ரம்’ ஸமர்பயிஷ்யதி; இதி கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா தே (அ)வத³ந் ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸீ² க⁴டநா ந ப⁴வது|
17 And he beheld them, and said, What meaneth this then that is written, The stone that the builders refused, that is made the head of the corner?
கிந்து யீஸு²ஸ்தாநவலோக்ய ஜகா³த³, தர்ஹி, ஸ்த²பதய: கரிஷ்யந்தி க்³ராவாணம்’ யந்து துச்ச²கம்’| ப்ரதா⁴நப்ரஸ்தர: கோணே ஸ ஏவ ஹி ப⁴விஷ்யதி| ஏதஸ்ய ஸா²ஸ்த்ரீயவசநஸ்ய கிம்’ தாத்பர்ய்யம்’?
18 Whosoeuer shall fall vpon that stone, shall be broken: and on whomsoeuer it shall fall, it will grinde him to pouder.
அபரம்’ தத்பாஷாணோபரி ய: பதிஷ்யதி ஸ ப⁴ம்’க்ஷ்யதே கிந்து யஸ்யோபரி ஸ பாஷாண: பதிஷ்யதி ஸ தேந தூ⁴லிவச் சூர்ணீப⁴விஷ்யதி|
19 Then the hie Priests, and the Scribes the same houre went about to lay hands on him: (but they feared the people) for they perceiued that he had spoken this parable against them.
ஸோஸ்மாகம்’ விருத்³த⁴ம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தமிமம்’ கதி²தவாந் இதி ஜ்ஞாத்வா ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகா அத்⁴யாபகாஸ்²ச ததை³வ தம்’ த⁴ர்தும்’ வவாஞ்சு²: கிந்து லோகேப்⁴யோ பி³ப்⁴யு: |
20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should faine themselues iust men, to take him in his talke, and to deliuer him vnto the power and authoritie of the gouernour.
அதஏவ தம்’ ப்ரதி ஸதர்கா: ஸந்த: கத²ம்’ தத்³வாக்யதோ³ஷம்’ த்⁴ரு’த்வா தம்’ தே³ஸா²தி⁴பஸ்ய ஸாது⁴வேஸ²தா⁴ரிணஸ்²சராந் தஸ்ய ஸமீபே ப்ரேஷயாமாஸு: |
21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest, and teachest right, neither doest thou accept mans person, but teachest the way of God truely.
ததா³ தே தம்’ பப்ரச்சு²: , ஹே உபதே³ஸ²க ப⁴வாந் யதா²ர்த²ம்’ கத²யந் உபதி³ஸ²தி, கமப்யநபேக்ஷ்ய ஸத்யத்வேநைஸ்²வரம்’ மார்க³முபதி³ஸ²தி, வயமேதஜ்ஜாநீம: |
22 Is it lawfull for vs to giue Cesar tribute or no?
கைஸரராஜாய கரோஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்தே³யோ ந வா?
23 But he perceiued their craftines, and sayd vnto them, Why tempt ye me?
ஸ தேஷாம்’ வஞ்சநம்’ ஜ்ஞாத்வாவத³த் குதோ மாம்’ பரீக்ஷத்⁴வே? மாம்’ முத்³ராமேகம்’ த³ர்ஸ²யத|
24 Shew me a penie. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered, and sayd, Cesars.
இஹ லிகி²தா மூர்திரியம்’ நாம ச கஸ்ய? தே(அ)வத³ந் கைஸரஸ்ய|
25 Then he sayd vnto them, Giue then vnto Cesar the things which are Cesars, and to God those which are Gods.
ததா³ ஸ உவாச, தர்ஹி கைஸரஸ்ய த்³ரவ்யம்’ கைஸராய த³த்த; ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய து த்³ரவ்யமீஸ்²வராய த³த்த|
26 And they could not reproue his saying before the people: but they marueiled at his answere, and helde their peace.
தஸ்மால்லோகாநாம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத் தத்கதா²யா: கமபி தோ³ஷம்’ த⁴ர்துமப்ராப்ய தே தஸ்யோத்தராத்³ ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ மந்யமாநா மௌநிநஸ்தஸ்து²: |
27 Then came to him certaine of the Sadduces (which denie that there is any resurrection) and they asked him,
அபரஞ்ச ஸ்²மஸா²நாது³த்தா²நாநங்கீ³காரிணாம்’ ஸிதூ³கிநாம்’ கியந்தோ ஜநா ஆக³த்ய தம்’ பப்ரச்சு²: ,
28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote vnto vs, If any mans brother die hauing a wife, and hee die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise vp seede vnto his brother.
ஹே உபதே³ஸ²க ஸா²ஸ்த்ரே மூஸா அஸ்மாந் ப்ரதீதி லிலேக² யஸ்ய ப்⁴ராதா பா⁴ர்ய்யாயாம்’ ஸத்யாம்’ நி: ஸந்தாநோ ம்ரியதே ஸ தஜ்ஜாயாம்’ விவஹ்ய தத்³வம்’ஸ²ம் உத்பாத³யிஷ்யதி|
29 Now there were seuen brethren, and the first tooke a wife, and he dyed without children.
ததா²ச கேசித் ஸப்த ப்⁴ராதர ஆஸந் தேஷாம்’ ஜ்யேஷ்டோ² ப்⁴ராதா விவஹ்ய நிரபத்ய: ப்ராணாந் ஜஹௌ|
30 And the second tooke the wife, and he dyed childelesse.
அத² த்³விதீயஸ்தஸ்ய ஜாயாம்’ விவஹ்ய நிரபத்ய: ஸந் மமார| த்ரு’தீயஸ்²ச தாமேவ வ்யுவாஹ;
31 Then the third tooke her: and so likewise the seuen dyed, and left no children.
இத்த²ம்’ ஸப்த ப்⁴ராதரஸ்தாமேவ விவஹ்ய நிரபத்யா: ஸந்தோ மம்ரு: |
32 And last of all the woman dyed also.
ஸே²ஷே ஸா ஸ்த்ரீ ச மமார|
33 Therefore at the resurrection, whose wife of them shall she be? for seuen had her to wife.
அதஏவ ஸ்²மஸா²நாது³த்தா²நகாலே தேஷாம்’ ஸப்தஜநாநாம்’ கஸ்ய ஸா பா⁴ர்ய்யா ப⁴விஷ்யதி? யத: ஸா தேஷாம்’ ஸப்தாநாமேவ பா⁴ர்ய்யாஸீத்|
34 Then Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, The children of this world marry wiues, and are married. (aiōn g165)
ததா³ யீஸு²: ப்ரத்யுவாச, ஏதஸ்ய ஜக³தோ லோகா விவஹந்தி வாக்³த³த்தாஸ்²ச ப⁴வந்தி (aiōn g165)
35 But they which shalbe counted worthy to enioy that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry wiues, neither are married. (aiōn g165)
கிந்து யே தஜ்ஜக³த்ப்ராப்தியோக்³யத்வேந க³ணிதாம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி ஸ்²மஸா²நாச்சோத்தா²ஸ்யந்தி தே ந விவஹந்தி வாக்³த³த்தாஸ்²ச ந ப⁴வந்தி, (aiōn g165)
36 For they can die no more, forasmuch as they are equall vnto the Angels, and are the sonnes of God, since they are the children of the resurrection.
தே புந ர்ந ம்ரியந்தே கிந்து ஸ்²மஸா²நாது³த்தா²பிதா: ஸந்த ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸந்தாநா: ஸ்வர்கீ³யதூ³தாநாம்’ ஸத்³ரு’ஸா²ஸ்²ச ப⁴வந்தி|
37 And that the dead shall rise againe, euen Moses shewed it besides the bush, when he said, The Lord is the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Iacob.
அதி⁴கந்து மூஸா: ஸ்தம்போ³பாக்²யாநே பரமேஸ்²வர ஈப்³ராஹீம ஈஸ்²வர இஸ்ஹாக ஈஸ்²வரோ யாகூப³ஸ்²சேஸ்²வர இத்யுக்த்வா ம்ரு’தாநாம்’ ஸ்²மஸா²நாத்³ உத்தா²நஸ்ய ப்ரமாணம்’ லிலேக²|
38 For he is not the God of the dead, but of them which liue: for all liue vnto him.
அதஏவ ய ஈஸ்²வர: ஸ ம்ரு’தாநாம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ ர்ந கிந்து ஜீவதாமேவ ப்ரபு⁴: , தந்நிகடே ஸர்வ்வே ஜீவந்த: ஸந்தி|
39 Then certaine of the Scribes answered, and sayd, Master, thou hast well sayd.
இதி ஸ்²ருத்வா கியந்தோத்⁴யாபகா ஊசு: , ஹே உபதே³ஸ²க ப⁴வாந் ப⁴த்³ரம்’ ப்ரத்யுக்தவாந்|
40 And after that, durst they not aske him any thing at all.
இத: பரம்’ தம்’ கிமபி ப்ரஷ்டம்’ தேஷாம்’ ப்ரக³ல்ப⁴தா நாபூ⁴த்|
41 Then sayd he vnto them, Howe say they that Christ is Dauids sonne?
பஸ்²சாத் ஸ தாந் உவாச, ய: க்²ரீஷ்ட: ஸ தா³யூத³: ஸந்தாந ஏதாம்’ கதா²ம்’ லோகா: கத²ம்’ கத²யந்தி?
42 And Dauid himselfe sayth in the booke of the Psalmes, The Lord sayd vnto my Lord, Sit at my right hand,
யத: மம ப்ரபு⁴மித³ம்’ வாக்யமவத³த் பரமேஸ்²வர: | தவ ஸ²த்ரூநஹம்’ யாவத் பாத³பீட²ம்’ கரோமி ந| தாவத் காலம்’ மதீ³யே த்வம்’ த³க்ஷபார்ஸ்²வ உபாவிஸ²|
43 Till I shall make thine enemies thy footestoole.
இதி கதா²ம்’ தா³யூத்³ ஸ்வயம்’ கீ³தக்³ரந்தே²(அ)வத³த்|
44 Seeing Dauid called him Lord, howe is he then his sonne?
அதஏவ யதி³ தா³யூத்³ தம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ம்’ வத³தி, தர்ஹி ஸ கத²ம்’ தஸ்ய ஸந்தாநோ ப⁴வதி?
45 Then in the audience of all the people he sayd vnto his disciples,
பஸ்²சாத்³ யீஸு²: ஸர்வ்வஜநாநாம்’ கர்ணகோ³சரே ஸி²ஷ்யாநுவாச,
46 Beware of the Scribes, which willingly go in long robes, and loue salutations in the markets, and the highest seates in the assemblies, and the chiefe roomes at feastes:
யே(அ)த்⁴யாபகா தீ³ர்க⁴பரிச்ச²த³ம்’ பரிதா⁴ய ப்⁴ரமந்தி, ஹட்டாபணயோ ர்நமஸ்காரே ப⁴ஜநகே³ஹஸ்ய ப்ரோச்சாஸநே போ⁴ஜநக்³ரு’ஹஸ்ய ப்ரதா⁴நஸ்தா²நே ச ப்ரீயந்தே
47 Which deuoure widowes houses, and in shewe make long prayers: These shall receiue greater damnation.
வித⁴வாநாம்’ ஸர்வ்வஸ்வம்’ க்³ரஸித்வா ச²லேந தீ³ர்க⁴காலம்’ ப்ரார்த²யந்தே ச தேஷு ஸாவதா⁴நா ப⁴வத, தேஷாமுக்³ரத³ண்டோ³ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
