Luke 18
1 And he spake also a parable vnto them, to this ende, that they ought alwayes to pray, and not to waxe faint,
Ary Jesosy nilaza fanoharana taminy, fa tsy mety raha tsy mivavaka mandrakariva izy ka tsy reraka,
2 Saying, There was a iudge in a certaine citie, which feared not God, neither reuereced man.
dia nanao hoe: Nisy mpitsara tao an-tanàna anankiray, izay tsy natahotra an’ Andriamanitra, na mena-maso olona.
3 And there was a widowe in that citie, which came vnto him, saying, Doe mee iustice against mine aduersarie.
Ary nisy mpitondratena tao amin’ izany tanàna izany, izay nankao aminy matetika ka nanao hoe: Omeo rariny aho amin’ ilay manana ady amiko.
4 And hee would not of a long time: but afterward he said with himselfe, Though I feare not God, nor reuerence man,
Ary tsy nanaiky izy aloha; fa rehefa afaka izany, dia nanao anakampo hoe izy: Na dia tsy matahotra an’ Andriamanitra aza aho sady tsy mena-maso olona,
5 Yet because this widowe troubleth mee, I will doe her right, lest at the last shee come and make me wearie.
mba homeko rariny ihany io mpitondratena io, fa manahirana ahy izy, fandrao ho avy mandrakariva izy ka hampahasosotra ahy.
6 And the Lord said, Heare what the vnrighteous iudge saith.
Ary hoy ny Tompo: Henoy izay lazain’ ilay mpitsara tsy marina.
7 Now shall not God auenge his elect, which cry day and night vnto him, yea, though he suffer long for them?
Fa Andriamanitra tsy hanome rariny ny olom-boafidiny va, izay mitaraina aminy andro aman’ alina, ary moa hitaredretra va Izy?
8 I tell you he will auenge them quickly: but when the Sonne of man commeth, shall he finde faith on the earth?
Lazaiko aminareo fa homeny rariny faingana izy. Kanefa, raha avy ny Zanak’ olona, moa hahita finoana etỳ ambonin’ ny tany va Izy?
9 He spake also this parable vnto certaine which trusted in themselues that they were iust, and despised other.
Ary Jesosy nanao ity fanoharana ity tamin’ ny sasany izay natoky tena ho marina ka namingavinga ny hafa;
10 Two men went vp into the Temple to pray: the one a Pharise, and the other a Publican.
Nisy roa lahy niakatra teo an-kianjan’ ny tempoly hivavaka, ny anankiray Fariseo, ary ny anankiray mpamory hetra.
11 The Pharise stoode and prayed thus with himselfe, O God, I thanke thee that I am not as other men, extortioners, vniust, adulterers, or euen as this Publican.
Ilay Fariseo nitsangana ka nivavaka nitokana hoe: Andriamanitra ô, misaotra Anao aho fa tsy mba tahaka ny olona sasany, izay mpanao an-keriny, tsy marina, mpijangajanga, na tahaka io mpamory hetra io aza.
12 I fast twise in the weeke: I giue tithe of all that euer I possesse.
Mifady indroa isan-kerinandro aho; mandoa ny fahafolon-karena amin’ izay azoko rehetra aho.
13 But the Publican standing a farre off, woulde not lift vp so much as his eyes to heauen, but smote his brest, saying, O God, be mercifull to me a sinner.
Fa ilay mpamory hetra kosa nijanona teny lavitra eny, sady tsy nety niandrandra ny lanitra akory, fa niteha-tratra ka nanao hoe: Andriamanitra ô, mamindrà fo amiko mpanota.
14 I tell you, this man departed to his house iustified, rather then the other: for euery man that exalteth himselfe, shall be brought lowe, and he that humbleth himselfe, shalbe exalted.
Lazaiko aminareo: Izany lehilahy izany nidina tany an-tranony efa nohamarinina noho ny anankiray; fa izay rehetra manandra-tena no haetry, ary izay rehetra manetry tena no hasandratra.
15 They brought vnto him also babes that he should touche them. And when his disciples sawe it, they rebuked them.
Ary nisy nitondra zazakely koa ho eo amin’ i Jesosy mba hotendreny; fa raha vao nahita izany ny mpianatra, dia nandrara azy.
16 But Iesus called them vnto him, and said, Suffer the babes to come vnto mee, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdome of God.
Fa Jesosy niantso ireo hankeo aminy ka nanao hoe: Avelao ny zaza hanatona Ahy, ary aza raràna; fa an’ ny toa azy ny fanjakan’ Andriamanitra.
17 Verely I say vnto you, whosoeuer receiueth not the kingdome of God as a babe, he shall not enter therein.
Lazaiko aminareo marina tokoa: Na zovy na zovy no ny handray ny fanjakan’ Andriamanitra tahaka ny zaza, dia tsy ho tafiditra aminy akory.
18 Then a certaine ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what ought I to doe, to inherite eternall life? (aiōnios g166)
Ary nisy mpanapaka anankiray nanontany Azy hoe: Mpampianatra tsara ô, inona no hataoko handovako fiainana mandrakizay? (aiōnios g166)
19 And Iesus said vnto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, saue one, euen God.
Fa hoy Jesosy taminy: Nahoana Aho no ataonao tsara? Tsy misy tsara afa-tsy Iray ihany, dia Andriamanitra.
20 Thou knowest the comandements, Thou shalt not commit adulterie: Thou shalt not kill: Thou shalt not steale: Thou shalt not beare false witnes: Honour thy father and thy mother.
Fantatrao ny didy hoe: Aza mijangajanga, Aza mamono olona, Aza mangalatra, Aza mety ho vavolombelona mandainga, Manajà ny rainao sy ny reninao.
21 And hee saide, All these haue I kept from my youth.
Ary hoy kosa izy: Izany rehetra izany dia efa notandremako hatry ny fony aho mbola kely.
22 Nowe when Iesus heard that, he saide vnto him, Yet lackest thou one thing. Sell all that euer thou hast, and distribute vnto the poore, and thou shalt haue treasure in heauen, and come follow mee.
Ary rehefa nandre izany Jesosy, dia hoy Izy taminy: Mbola diso zavatra iray loha ianao: amidio ny fanananao rehetra, ka zarao ho an’ ny malahelo, dia hanana rakitra any an-danitra ianao; ary avia, manaraha Ahy.
23 But when he heard those things, he was very heauie: for he was marueilous riche.
Ary rehefa nandre izany ralehilahy, dia nalahelo loatra; fa nanan-karena dia nanan-karena izy.
24 And when Iesus sawe him very sorowfull, he said, With what difficultie shall they that haue riches, enter into the kingdome of God!
Ary Jesosy, raha nijery azy, dia nanao hoe: Manao ahoana ny hasarotry ny hidiran’ ny manan-karena amin’ ny fanjakan’ Andriamanitra!
25 Surely it is easier for a camel to go through a needles eye, then for a riche man to enter into the kingdome of God.
Fa ho moramora kokoa ny hidiran’ ny rameva amin’ ny vodi-fanjaitra noho ny hidiran’ ny manan-karena amin’ ny fanjakan’ Andriamanitra!
26 Then said they that heard it, And who then can be saued?
Ary izay nandre dia nanao hoe: Iza indray moa no azo hovonjena?
27 And he said, The things which are vnpossible with men, are possible with God.
Fa hoy Jesosy: Izay zavatra tsy hain’ ny olona dia hain’ Andriamanitra.
28 Then Peter said, Loe, we haue left all, and haue followed thee.
Dia hoy Petera: Indro, izahay efa nahafoy izay nety ho anay ka nanaraka Anao.
29 And he said vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, there is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children for the kingdome of Gods sake,
Ary hoy Jesosy taminy: Lazaiko aminareo marina tokoa: Tsy misy olona izay efa nahafoy trano, na vady, na rahalahy, na ray, na reny, na zanaka, noho ny fanjakan’ Andriamanitra,
31 Then Iesus tooke vnto him ye twelue, and said vnto them, Beholde, we goe vp to Hierusalem, and all things shalbe fulfilled to the Sonne of man, that are writttn by the Prophets.
Ary Jesosy naka ny roa ambin’ ny folo lahy ka nanao taminy hoe: Indro, miakatra ho any Jerosalema isika, dia ho tanteraka ny zavatra rehetra izay voasoratry ny mpaminany ny amin’ ny Zanak’ olona.
32 For he shall be deliuered vnto the Gentiles, and shalbe mocked, and shalbe spitefully entreated, and shalbe spitted on.
Fa hatolotra ho amin’ ny jentilisa Izy, dia hataony fihomehezana sy hisetrasetrany sy hororany
33 And when they haue scourged him, they will put him to death: but the thirde day hee shall rise againe.

34 But they vnderstood none of these things, and this saying was hidde from them, neither perceiued they the things, which were spoken.

35 And it came to passe, that as he was come neere vnto Iericho, a certaine blinde man sate by the way side, begging.
Ary raha Jesosy nanakaiky an’ i Jeriko, dia indro jamba anankiray nipetraka nangataka teo amoron-dalana.
36 And when he heard the people passe by, he asked what it meant.
Ary raha nandre ny vahoaka mandalo izy, dia nanontany hoe: Inona izany?
37 And they saide vnto him, that Iesus of Nazareth passed by.
Ary hoy ny olona taminy: Jesosy avy any Nazareta no mandalo.
38 Then hee cried, saying, Iesus the Sonne of Dauid, haue mercie on me.
Dia niantso mafy ralehilahy ka nanao hoe: Ry Jesosy, Zanak’ i Davida ô, mamindrà fo amiko.
39 And they which went before, rebuked him that he shoulde holde his peace, but he cried much more, O Sone of Dauid, haue mercie on me.
Ary izay nandeha teny aloha dia niteny mafy azy mba hangina, fa vao mainka niantsoantso izy ka nanao hoe: Ry Zanak’ i Davida ô, mamindrà fo amiko.
40 And Iesus stoode stil, and commanded him to be brought vnto him. And when he was come neere, he asked him,
Ary Jesosy nijanona, dia nasainy ho entina eo aminy ralehilahy; ary rehefa mby akaiky izy, dia nanontany azy Jesosy
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I doe vnto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receiue my sight.
ka nanao hoe: Inona moa no tianao hataoko aminao? Ary hoy izy: Tompoko, ny mba hampahiratina ny masoko.
42 And Iesus said vnto him, Receiue thy sight: thy faith hath saued thee.
Dia hoy Jesosy taminy: Mahirata ny masonao; ny finoanao no efa nahavonjy anao.
43 Then immediatly he receiued his sight, and followed him, praysing God: and all the people, when they sawe this, gaue praise to God.
Ary niaraka tamin’ izay dia nahiratra ny masony, ka nanaraka an’ i Jesosy izy sady nankalaza an’ Andriamanitra; ary ny vahoaka rehetra, raha nahita, dia nidera an’ Andriamanitra.
