Leviticus 27
1 Moreouer the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, If any man shall make a vowe of a person vnto the Lord, by thy estimation,
Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et tu leur diras: « Lorsqu'un homme consacrera une personne à l'Éternel par un vœu, selon l'estimation que tu en feras,
3 Then thy estimation shall bee thus: a male from twentie yeere olde vnto sixty yeere olde shalbe by thy estimation euen fifty shekels of siluer, after the shekel of the Sanctuarie.
l'estimation d'un homme de vingt à soixante ans sera de cinquante sicles d'argent, selon le sicle du sanctuaire.
4 But if it be a female, then thy valuation shall be thirtie shekels.
S'il s'agit d'une femme, ton évaluation sera de trente sicles.
5 And from fiue yere old to twentie yere olde thy valuation shall be for the male twentie shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
Si la personne est âgée de cinq à vingt ans, ton évaluation sera de vingt sicles pour un homme et de dix sicles pour une femme.
6 But from a moneth old vnto fiue yere old, thy price of the male shall bee fiue shekels of siluer, and thy price of the female, three shekels of siluer.
Si la personne est âgée d'un mois à cinq ans, ton évaluation sera de cinq sicles d'argent pour un mâle, et de trois sicles d'argent pour une femelle.
7 And from sixty yeere olde and aboue, if he be a male, then thy price shalbe fifteene shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
Si la personne est âgée de soixante ans et plus, si c'est un homme, ton évaluation sera de quinze sicles, et pour une femme de dix sicles.
8 But if he be poorer then thou hast esteemed him, then shall hee present himselfe before the Priest, and the Priest shall value him, according to the abilitie of him that vowed, so shall the Priest value him.
Mais s'il est plus pauvre que ton estimation, on le présentera au prêtre, qui lui attribuera une valeur. Le prêtre lui attribuera une valeur en fonction de sa capacité de paiement.
9 And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering vnto the Lord, all that one giueth of such vnto the Lord, shalbe holy.
"'S'il s'agit d'un animal dont on fait une offrande à Yahvé, tout ce qu'un homme donne de cet animal à Yahvé devient saint.
10 He shall not alter it nor change it, a good for a badde, nor a badde for a good: and if hee change beast for beast, then both this and that, which was changed for it, shall be holy.
Il ne le modifiera pas et ne l'échangera pas, ni un bien contre un mal, ni un mal contre un bien. S'il échange un animal contre un autre, l'animal et ce contre quoi il est échangé seront saints.
11 And if it be any vncleane beast, of which men do not offer a sacrifice vnto the Lord, hee shall then present the beast before the Priest.
S'il s'agit d'un animal impur, dont on ne fait pas d'offrande à l'Éternel, on le présentera au prêtre,
12 And the Priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: and as thou valuest it, which art the Priest, so shall it bee.
et le prêtre jugera s'il est bon ou mauvais. Il en sera ainsi selon l'évaluation du prêtre.
13 But if he will bye it againe, then hee shall giue the fift part of it more, aboue thy valuation.
Mais s'il accepte de le racheter, il ajoutera à son évaluation le cinquième de son prix.
14 Also whe a man shall dedicate his house to be holy vnto the Lord, then the Priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad, and as ye Priest shall prise it, so shall the value be.
"'Lorsqu'un homme consacre sa maison à Yahvé, le prêtre l'évaluera pour savoir si elle est bonne ou mauvaise. Elle sera jugée par le prêtre.
15 But if he that sanctified it, will redeeme his house, then hee shall giue thereto the fift part of money more then thy estimation, and it shalbe his.
Si celui qui l'a consacrée veut racheter sa maison, il y ajoutera le cinquième de l'argent de ton évaluation, et elle lui appartiendra.
16 If also a man dedicate to the Lord any grounde of his inheritance, then shalt thou esteeme it according to the seede therof: an Homer of barlie seede shalbe at fiftie shekels of siluer.
"'Si un homme consacre à Yahvé une partie du champ qu'il possède, vous l'évaluerez en fonction de sa semence. La semence d'un homer d'orge sera évaluée à cinquante sicles d'argent.
17 If he dedicate his field immediatly from the yeere of Iubile, it shall bee worth as thou doest esteeme it.
S'il consacre son champ à partir de l'année jubilaire, il sera maintenu selon votre évaluation.
18 But if hee dedicate his fielde after the Iubile, then the Priest shall recken him the money according to ye yeeres that remaine vnto the yere of Iubile, and it shalbe abated by thy estimation.
Mais s'il dédie son champ après le Jubilé, le prêtre lui comptera l'argent en fonction des années qui restent à courir jusqu'à l'année du Jubilé, et une déduction sera faite de votre évaluation.
19 And if he that dedicateth it, will redeeme the fielde, then he shall put the fift parte of the price, that thou esteemedst it at, thereunto, and it shall remaine his.
Si celui qui a consacré le champ veut bien le racheter, il y ajoutera le cinquième de l'argent de votre évaluation, et il lui appartiendra.
20 And if he will not redeeme the fielde, but the Priest sell the fielde to another man, it shalbe redeemed no more.
S'il ne rachète pas le champ, ou s'il l'a vendu à un autre homme, il ne sera plus racheté;
21 But the field shalbe holy to the Lord, whe it goeth out in the Iubile, as a fielde separate from common vses: the possession thereof shall be the Priests.
mais le champ, lorsqu'il sortira au Jubilé, sera consacré à l'Éternel, comme un champ consacré. Il appartiendra aux prêtres.
22 If a man also dedicate vnto ye Lord a fielde which he hath bought, which is not of the groud of his inheritance,
"'S'il consacre à l'Éternel un champ qu'il a acheté et qui n'est pas du domaine de sa propriété,
23 Then the Priest shall set the price to him, as thou esteemest it, vnto the yeere of Iubile, and he shall giue thy price the same day, as a thing holy vnto the Lord.
le prêtre lui calculera la valeur de ton évaluation jusqu'à l'année du Jubilé, et il donnera ton évaluation ce jour-là, comme une chose sainte à l'Éternel.
24 But in the yeere of Iubile, the fielde shall returne vnto him, of whome it was bought: to him, I say, whose inheritance the land was.
L'année du Jubilé, le champ retournera à celui qui l'a acheté, à celui à qui appartient la possession du pays.
25 And all thy valuation shall bee according to the shekel of the Sanctuarie: a shekel conteyneth twenty gerahs.
Toutes vos évaluations seront faites selon le sicle du sanctuaire: vingt gérahs pour un sicle.
26 Notwithstanding the first borne of the beastes, because it is the Lordes first borne, none shall dedicate such, be it bullocke, or sheepe; for it is the Lords.
"'Cependant, le premier-né des animaux, qui appartient à Yahvé comme un premier-né, personne ne peut le consacrer, qu'il s'agisse d'un bœuf ou d'un mouton. Il appartient à l'Éternel.
27 But if it be an vncleane beast, then he shall redeeme it by thy valuation, and giue the fift part more thereto: and if it be not redeemed, then it shalbe solde, according to thy estimation.
S'il s'agit d'un animal impur, on le rachètera selon votre évaluation, et on y ajoutera le cinquième de son prix; ou bien, s'il n'est pas racheté, on le vendra selon votre évaluation.
28 Notwithstanding, nothing separate from the common vse that a man doeth separate vnto the Lord of all that he hath (whether it bee man or beast, or lande of his inheritance) may be solde nor redeemed: for euery thing separate from the common vse is most holy vnto the Lord.
"'Toutefois, aucun objet consacré qu'un homme consacre à Yahvé parmi tout ce qu'il possède, qu'il s'agisse d'hommes ou d'animaux, ou du champ de sa propriété, ne sera vendu ou racheté. Tout ce qui est consacré de façon permanente est très saint pour Yahvé.
29 Nothing separate from the common vse, which shall be separate from man, shalbe redeemed, but dye the death.
"'Aucun être dévoué à la destruction, qui sera dévoué d'entre les hommes, ne sera racheté. Il sera mis à mort.
30 Also all the tithe of the lande both of the seede of the ground, and of the fruite of the trees is the Lords: it is holy to the Lord.
"'Toute la dîme du pays, qu'il s'agisse de la semence du pays ou du fruit des arbres, appartient à Yahvé. Elle est consacrée à Yahvé.
31 But if a man will redeeme any of his tithe, he shall adde the fift part thereto.
Si un homme rachète quelque chose de sa dîme, il y ajoutera un cinquième.
32 And euery tithe of bullock, and of sheepe, and of all that goeth vnder the rod, the tenth shalbe holy vnto the Lord.
Toute la dîme du gros et du menu bétail, de tout ce qui passe sous le bâton, la dîme sera consacrée à l'Éternel.
33 He shall not looke if it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: els if he change it, both it, and that it was changed withall, shalbe holy, and it shall not be redeemed.
Il ne cherchera pas à savoir si elle est bonne ou mauvaise, et il ne l'échangera pas. S'il l'échange, elle sera sainte, ainsi que ce contre quoi elle est échangée. Il ne sera pas racheté. »"
34 These are the commandements which the Lord commanded by Moses vnto the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
Tels sont les commandements que Yahvé a prescrits à Moïse pour les enfants d'Israël sur le mont Sinaï.
