Leviticus 10
1 But Nadab and Abihu, the sonnes of Aaron, tooke either of them his censor, and put fire therein, and put incense thereupon, and offred strange fire before the Lord, which hee had not commanded them.
೧ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾದಾಬ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಬೀಹೂ ಎಂಬ ಇಬ್ಬರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಬೇರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಧೂಪದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
2 Therefore a fire went out from the Lord, and deuoured them: so they dyed before the Lord.
೨ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊರಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸತ್ತರು.
3 Then Moses sayde vnto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will bee sanctified in the that come neere me, and before all the people I will be glorified: but Aaron held his peace.
೩ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನನಿಗೆ, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಇದೇ ದೃಷ್ಟಾಂತ; ಆ ಮಾತು ಏನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ನಾನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿಯೇ ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸುವೆನು, ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂಬುದೇ’” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೋನನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
4 And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan the sonnes of Vzziel, the vncle of Aaron, and saide vnto them, Come neere, cary your brethre from before the Sanctuarie out of the hoste.
೪ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜಿಯೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಮೀಶಾಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಸಾಫಾನನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ, “ನೀವು ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಣ್ಣಂದಿರ ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವಮಂದಿರದ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು” ಅಂದನು.
5 Then they went, and caried them in their coates out of the host, as Moses had comaunded.
೫ಮೋಶೆಯ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಸತ್ತವರು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯದೆ ಅವರ ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
6 After, Moses saide vnto Aaron and vnto Eleazar and Ithamar his sonnes, Vncouer not your heads, neither rent your clothes, least ye dye, and least wrath come vpon all ye people: but let your brethren, all the house of Israel bewayle the burning which the Lord hath kindled.
೬ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಈತಾಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬುವವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆದರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು; ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು. ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನೀವೂ ಸಾಯುವಿರಿ; ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಜನಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೊತ್ತಿಸಿದ ಈ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ ದುಃಖಿಸಲಿ.
7 And go not yee out from the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, least ye dye: for the anointing oyle of the Lord is vpon you: and they did according to Moses commandement.
೭ಯೆಹೋವನ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ ತೈಲವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು; ಹೋದರೆ ಸಾಯುವಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರು ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
8 And the Lord spake vnto Aaron, saying,
೮ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆರೋನನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ,
9 Thou shalt not drinke wine nor strong drinke, thou, nor thy sonnes with thee, when yee come into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, lest ye die: this is an ordinance for euer throughout your generations,
೯“ನೀನೂ ಹಾಗು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕುಡಿದು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದೊಳಗೆ ಬರಬಾರದು; ಹಾಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಸಾಯುವಿರಿ. ಇದು ನಿನಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತನಿಯಮ.
10 That ye may put difference betweene the holy and the vnholy, and betweene the cleane and the vncleane,
೧೦ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು, ಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು, ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವುದೂ,
11 And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord hath commanded them by the hand of Moses.
೧೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವುದೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
12 Then Moses saide vnto Aaron and vnto Eleazar and to Ithamar his sonnes that were left, Take the meate offring that remaineth of the offrings of the Lord, made by fire, and eate it without leauen beside ye altar: for it is most holy:
೧೨ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಉಳಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಈತಾಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬವರಿಗೆ, “ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಅಗ್ನಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ಧಾನ್ಯನೈವೇದ್ಯ ದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರಿಂದ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.
13 And ye shall eate it in the holy place, because it is thy duetie and thy sonnes duety of the offringes of the Lord made by fire: for so I am commanded.
೧೩ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಥಳದೊಳಗೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಜನರು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಹೋಮದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ನಿನಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಸಲ್ಲತಕ್ಕದ್ದೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
14 Also the shaken breast and the heaue shoulder shall yee eate in a cleane place: thou, and thy sonnes, and thy daughters with thee: for they are giuen as thy duetie and thy sonnes duety, of the peace offringes of the children of Israel.
೧೪ನೀವು ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದ ಎದೆಯ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು, ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದ ತೊಡೆಯನ್ನು ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ನೀನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಹಾಗು ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೇ ನಿನಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಸಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿದೆ.
15 The heaue shoulder, and the shaken breast shall they bring with the offringes made by fire of the fat, to shake it to and from before the Lord, and it shalbe thine and thy sonnes with thee by a lawe for euer, as the Lord hath commanded.
೧೫ಜನರು ಹೋಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ತಂದು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಆ ತೊಡೆಯನ್ನು ನೈವೇದ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಿವಾಳಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಆ ಎದೆಯ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇಕು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಅವು ನಿನಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೂ ಸಲ್ಲತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಇದು ಶಾಶ್ವತನಿಯಮ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
16 And Moses sought the goate that was offred for sinne, and lo, it was burnt: therefore he was angrie with Eleazar and Ithamar the sonnes of Aaron, which were left aliue, saying,
೧೬ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ಹೋತದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಏನಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಮೋಶೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಬಂತು. ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಆರೋನನ ಉಳಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಈತಾಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗೊಂಡು,
17 Wherfore haue ye not eaten the sinne offring in the holy place, seeing it is most Holie? and God hath giuen it you, to beare the iniquitie of the Congregation, to make an atonement for them before the Lord.
೧೭“ಆ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞದ್ರವ್ಯವು ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದಲ್ಲವೇ? ನೀವು ಜನಸಮೂಹದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹಾರಮಾಡುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ. ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಥಳದೊಳಗೆ ಊಟಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ?
18 Beholde, the blood of it was not brought within the holy place: ye should haue eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.
೧೮ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವು ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದೊಳಗೆ ತರಬಾರದಾಗಿತ್ತು, ನಾನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನೀವು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದೊಳಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು” ಅಂದನು.
19 And Aaron said vnto Moses, Behold, this day haue they offred their sinne offring, and their burnt offring before the Lord, and such things as thou knowest are come vnto mee: If I had eaten the sinne offring to day, should it haue bene accepted in the sight of the Lord?
೧೯ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೋನನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ಇವರು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ಈ ಆಪತ್ತು ನನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತು; ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಊಟಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗಿ ತೋರುತ್ತಿತ್ತೋ?”
20 So when Moses heard it, he was content.
೨೦ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಾಗಿ ಮೋಶೆ ಆ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ತೃಪ್ತಿಗೊಂಡನು.
