Joshua 15
1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Iudah by their families: euen to the border of Edom and the wildernesse of Zin, Southward on the Southcoast.
És jutott a sors Jehúda fiai törzsének családjaik szerint; Edóm határa felé, Cín pusztája felé délről, a déli tájék szélén.
2 And their South border was the salt Sea coast, from the point that looketh Southward.
S volt nekik déli határul a Sóstenger szélétől, a nyelvtől, mely délnek fordul;
3 And it went out on the Southside towarde Maaleth-akrabbim, and went along to Zin, and ascended vp on the Southside vnto Kadesh-barnea, and went along to Hezron, and went vp to Adar, and fet a compasse to Karkaa.
s kifut Akrabbím hágójától délre, átvonul Cínig, fölmegy Kádés-Barnéától délre, átvonul Checrónig, fölmegy Addárig és átkerül Karká felé;
4 From thence went it along to Azmon, and reached vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the end of that coast was on the Westside: this shall be your South coast.
átmegy Acmónba s kifut Egyiptom patakjáig és lesznek a határ végezetei a tengernél: ez legyen nektek déli határul.
5 Also the Eastborder shalbe the salt Sea, vnto the end of Iorden: and the border on the North quarter from the point of the Sea, and from the end of Iorden.
A keleti határ pedig: a Sós tenger a Jordán széléig; s a határ az északi szélen: a tenger nyelvétől a Jordán szélétől.
6 And this border goeth vp to Beth-hogla, and goeth along by ye Northside of Beth-arabah: so the border from thence goeth vp to the stone of Bohan the sonne of Reuben.
És fölmegy a határ Bét-Chogláig, átvonul Bét-Arábától északra, s fölmegy a határ Bóhan, Reúbén fia, kövéig;
7 Againe this border goeth vp to Debir from the valley of Achor, and Northwarde, turning toward Gilgal, that lyeth before the going vp to Adummim, which is on the Southside of the riuer: also this border goeth vp to the waters of En-shemesh, and endeth at En-rogel.
fölmegy a határ Debírnek, Ákhór völgye felől, meg északnak fordulva, Gilgál felé, mely szemben van Adummím hágójával, a mely a pataktól délre van; s átvonul a határ Én-Sémes vizéig és lesznek végezetei Én-Rógélnél.
8 Then this border goeth vp to the valley of the sonne of Hinnom; on the Southside of the Iebusites: the same is Ierusalem. also this border goeth vp to the top of the mountaine that lyeth before the valley of Hinnom Westward, which is by the end of the valley of ye gyants Northward.
Erre fölmegy a határ Ben-Hinnóm völgyén délre a Jebúszi oldalától – az Jeruzsálem, s fölmegy a határ azon hegy csúcsára, mely a Hinnóm völgye előtt van nyugatról, mely a Refáim völgyének szélén van északról.
9 So this border compasseth from the top of the mountaine vnto the fountaine of the water of Nephtoah, and goeth out to the cities of mount Ephron: and this border draweth to Baalah, which is Kiriath-iearim.
És húzódik a határ a hegy csúcsától Neftóach vize forrásáig és kifut Efrón hegysége városa felé és húzódik a határ Báaláig – az Kirjat-Jeárim.
10 Then this border compasseth from Baalah Westward vnto mount Seir, and goeth along vnto the side of mount Iearim, which is Chesalon on the Northside: so it commeth downe to Bethshemesh, and goeth to Timnah.
S átkerül a határ Báalától nyugatnak a Szeir hegyig és átvonul északra Har-Jeárimtól – az Keszálón – lemegy Bét-Sémesnek és átvonul Timnáig.
11 Also this border goeth out vnto the side of Ekron Northwarde: and this border draweth to Shicron, and goeth along to mount Baalah, and stretcheth vnto Iabneel: and the endes of this coast are to the Sea.
És kifut a határ Ekrón oldalától északról s húzódik a határ Sikrónnak, átvonul Báala hegyéig és kifut Jabneélig; és lesznek a határ végezetei a tengernél.
12 And the Westborder is to the great Sea: so this border shalbe the bounds of the children of Iudah round about, according to their families.
A nyugati határ pedig: a nagy tenger határul. Ez Jehúda fiainak határa, köröskörül családjaik szerint.
13 And vnto Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh did Ioshua giue a part among the children of Iudah, as the Lord commanded him, euen Kiriath-arba of the father of Anak, which is Hebron.
Kálébnek, Jefunne fiának pedig adta osztályrészül Jehúda fiai között, az Örökkévaló parancsa szerint Józsuának: Kirjat-Arbát – ez volt Anák atyja – azaz Chebrónt.
14 And Caleb droue thence three sonnes of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the sonnes of Anak.
És kiűzte onnan Káléb Anák három fiát: Sésajt, Achímánt és Talmajt, Anák szülöttjeit.
15 And he went vp thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before time was Kiriath-sepher.
S fölment onnan Debír lakói ellen; Debír neve pedig azelőtt Kirjat-Széfer.
16 Then Caleb sayd, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and taketh it, euen to him wil I giue Achsah my daughter to wife.
S mondta Káléb: aki megveri Kirjat-Széfert és beveszi, annak oda adom leányomat, Akhszát nőül.
17 And Othniel, the sonne of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb tooke it: and he gaue him Achsah his daughter to wife.
És bevette Otníél, Kenáz fia, Káléb testvére: és oda adta neki leányát, Akhszát nőül.
18 And as she went in to him, she moued him, to aske of her father a fielde: and she lighted off her asse, and Caleb sayd vnto her, What wilt thou?
S történt, mikor oda jött, rábeszélte, hogy kérjen atyjától mezőt; és lesiklott a szamárról. És mondta neki Káléb: Mi lelt?
19 Then she answered, Giue me a blessing: for thou hast giuen mee the South countrey: giue me also springs of water. And hee gaue her the springs aboue and the springs beneath.
Mondta: Adj nekem áldást, mert a délvidéki földre adtál engem, adjál hát vízkútfőket. Erre adta neki a felső kútfőket és az alsó kútfőket.
20 This shalbe the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Iudah according to their families.
Ez Jehúda fiai törzsének birtoka családjaik szerint.
21 And the vtmost cities of the tribe of the children of Iudah, toward the coastes of Edom Southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Iagur,
És voltak a városok Jehúda fiai törzsének szélén Edóm határánál a Délvidéken: Kabceél, Éder és Jágúr.
22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
Kína, Dímóna és Adeáda.
23 And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
Kédes, Chácór és Jitnán.
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
Zíf, Télem és Beálót.
25 And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, Hesron (which is Hazor)
Chácór-Chadatta, Keríjót, Checrón, az Chácór.
26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
Amám, Semá és Móláda.
27 And Hazar, Gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,
Chacár-Gadda, Chesmón és Bét-Pélet.
28 And Hasar-shual, and Beersheba, and Biziothiah,
Chacár-Súál, Beér-Séba és Bizjóteja.
29 Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
Báala, Ijjím és Écem.
30 And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
Eltólad, Keszíl és Chorma.
31 And Ziklag, and Madmanna, and Sansannah,
Ciklag, Madmanna és Szanszanna.
32 And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all these cities are twentie and nine with their villages.
Lebáót, Silchím, Ájin és Rimmón – mind a városok huszonkilenc és tanyáik.
33 In the lowe countrey were Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
Az alföldön: Estáól, Corea és Asna.
34 And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
Zánóach, Én-Gannim, Tappúach és Énám.
35 Iarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
Jarmút, Adullám, Szókhó és Azéka.
36 And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim: fourteene cities with their villages.
Sáarájím, Adítájim, Gedéra és Gedérótájim. Tizennégy város és tanyáik.
37 Zenam, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
Cenán, Chadása és Migdal-Gád.
38 And Dileam, and Mizpeh, and Ioktheel,
Dileán, Micpé és Jokteél.
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
Lákhís, Bockát és Eglón.
40 And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
Kabbón, Lachmász és Kitlís.
41 And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteene cities with their villages.
Gedérót, Bét-Dágón, Náama és Makkéda. Tizenhat város és tanyáik.
42 Lebnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
Libna, Éter és Ásán.
43 And Iipthtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
Jiftách, Asna és Necíb.
44 And Keilah, and Aczib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.
Keíla, Akhzib és Márésa. Kilenc város és tanyáik.
45 Ekron with her townes and her villages,
Ekrón meg leányvárosai és tanyái.
46 From Ekron, euen vnto the Sea, all that lyeth about Ashdod with their villages.
Ekróntól nyugatra, mind az, ami Asdód mellett van és tanyáik.
47 Ashdod with her townes and her villages: Azzah with her townes and her villages, vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the great Sea was their coast.
Asdód, leányvárosai és tanyái; Azza, leányvárosai és tanyái Egyiptom patakjáig, és a nagy tenger határul.
48 And in the mountaines were Shamir, and Iattir, and Socoh,
A hegységben pedig: Sámír, Jattír és Szókhó.
49 And Dannah, and Kiriath-sannath (which is Debir)
Danna és Kirjat-Szanna, az Debír.
50 And Anab, and Ashtemoth, and Anim,
Anáb, Estemó és Áním.
51 And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh: eleuen cities with their villages,
Gósen, Chólón és Gíló. Tizenegy város és tanyáik.
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
Aráb, Dúma és Eseán,
53 And Ianum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,
Jánúm, Bét-Tappúach és Aféka.
54 And Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, (which is Hebron) and Zior: nine cities with their villages.
Chumta, Kirjat-Arbá – az Chebrón – és Cíór. Kilenc város és tanyáik.
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Iuttah,
Máón, Karmel, Zíf és Júta.
56 And Izreel, and Iokdeam, and Zanoah,
Jizreél, Jokdeám és Zánóach.
57 Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.
Hakkájin, Gibea és Timna. Tíz város és tanyáik.
58 Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
Chalchúl, Bét-Cúr és Gedór.
59 And Maarah, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon: sixe cities with their villages.
Máarát, Bét-Anót és Eltekón. Hat város és tanyáik.
60 Kiriath-baal, which is Kiriath-iearim, and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.
Kirjat-Báal – Kirjat-Jeárim az – és Hárabba. Két város és tanyáik.
61 In the wildernes were Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
A pusztában: Bét-Arába, Middín és Szekhákha.
62 And Nibshan, and the citie of salt, and Engedi: sixe cities with their villages.
Hannibsán, Ir-Mélach és Én-Gédi. Hat város és tanyáik.
63 Neuerthelesse, the Iebusites that were the inhabitants of Ierusalem, could not the children of Iudah cast out, but the Iebusites dwell with the children of Iudah at Ierusalem vnto this day.
A jebúszít azonban, Jeruzsálem lakóit, nem birták kiűzni Jehúda fiai; így maradt a jebúszí Jehúda fiaival Jeruzsálemben mind e mai napig.
